Abstract

Background: The prevalence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women based on the results of the 2018 Basic Health Research is 17.3%, this result is quite high so that efforts to prevent SEZ must be carried out early. Methods: This research is a quantitative study with 98 samples of shampoo, the data were analyzed by SPSS version 23. Results: The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and CED based on the results of p value = 0.043. Discussion: The importance of providing counseling and education to pregnant women to maintain a nutritional balance so that the risk of CED and LBW can be avoided. Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge and the risk of CED in pregnant women

Abstract

Vitamin A is an element of Vitamin that is very important for the development of Toddlers, but is sometimes neglected by mothers so that it requires support from the closest people, such as family and health workers. This research method is quantitative with a cross sectional study approach. This research was carried out in Makassar in 2021, the sample taken was 140 people. Analysis of the data used using the chi square test with = 0.05 provided that if the value of p <0.05 then there is a significant relationship between the dependent and independent variables. The data were analyzed using SPSS Version 24. The results of this study with a significance value of 0.05, it means that there is a relationship between family support and the administration of vitamin A. Conclusion: The role of cadres and families is needed to support the administration of vitamin A to toddlers to prevent unwanted risks.

Abstract

Vitamin D is an important prohormone because vitamin D receptors (VDR) are present in many cells and tissues throughout the body. This research method is quantitative with a cross sectional study approach. This research was carried out in Makassar in 2021, the sample taken was 100 people. Analysis of the data used using the chi square test with = 0.00 provided that if the value of p <0.05 then there is a significant relationship between the dependent and independent variables. The data were analyzed using SPSS Version 23. The results of this study with a significance value of 0.00, it means that there is a relationship between giving Vitamins D to Blood Pressure. the intake of nutrition and vitamins for pregnant women should be a concern so that it becomes a preventive effort in preventing premature death and other pregnancy diseases, health workers and all stakeholders are expected to be able to take their respective roles.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal emotional focus coping performed by early marriage couples in Selayar. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The data were obtained by means of in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with 12 informants consisting of teenagers who married at an early age, parents, health workers and family planning instructors. Domain analysis is used to identify semantic relationships in the data found. The results showed that in addition to emotional focus coping, the informants also used problem focus coping in undergoing early marriage. The forms of coping with emotional focus found were self-controlling, escape-avoidance, and positive appraisal. Therefore, counseling is needed for adolescents who marry at an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the regulation of emotions and impulse control in child victims of sexual abuse. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, unstructured observation and documentation to 10 informants consisting of child victims of sexual abuse, families of child victims of sexual abuse, P2TP2A officers, and health workers in Makassar City. Content analysis is used to identify topics or categories in data. The results showed that child victims of sexual abuse can regulate their emotions and control impulses well if they get help from their surroundings, especially their families. Child victims of sexual abuse are able to be optimistic and never give up because they have a desire to make their parents happy and reach their dreams in the future. It was concluded that emotional support and social support for child victims of sexual abuse play an important role in the formation and improvement of emotional regulation and impulse control in children victims of sexual abuse in the future.
