Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of implementation of local wisdom in raising buffalo livestock in North Musi Rawas Regency. This study uses a survey method. The data collected consists of primary and secondary data. Data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis. The results showed that breeders in North Musi Rawas Regency had implemented local wisdom values such as rearing buffalo with a rotating picket system 75.18%, Community buffalo rumble system 66.07%, Buffalo cattle belling (Neck tag) 69.64 %, and the construction of cages in groups (collectively) 63.39 %. Based on the description above, it can be interpreted that farmers in North Musi Rawas Regency have implemented local wisdom values in raising buffalo livestock so that they can support an increase in the buffalo population in North Musi Rawas Regency.

Abstract

Ice cream is a dairy product made through freezing process that has high nutrition. Processing of ice cream can be varied by adding various kind of fruits, one of which is by using raspberries. The purpose of this final project was to determine the effect of raspberry addition on physicochemical properties and acceptability of ice cream. The design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments with raspberry fruit concentration P0 = 0%, P1 = 20%, P2 = 40% with 3 replications. The parameters tested were overrun, melting power, pH, vitamin C and acceptability. The data obtained by physical and chemical tests were then analyzed using the ANOVA ( Analysis of Variance ) test, followed by the DMRT ( Duncan Multiple Range Test ) test with a significant level of 5% while the hedonic test used statistical analysis of mode values. The test results on physicochemical characteristics showed that the addition of raspberries had a significant effect (P<0.05) on overrun, pH and vitamin C, but did not have a significant effect (P<0.05) on the melting power of ice cream. The most preferred ice cream and the best concentration in the P2 treatment with the addition of 40% raspberry fruit with an overrun value of 79.65%, melting power with 12.09 minutes, pH value of 5.51 and vitamin C of 0.94 mg/ g.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the proper fish feeding rate and dose by using maggot flour on the growth and survival of giant gurami (Oshpronemus Gouramy).this study was carried out within 30 days (june to july 2022) in Tatelu center for freshwater aquaculture fisheries (BPBAT),TATELU village,dimembe subdistrict,minahasa utara gerency,sulawesi utara province.the research implemented an experimental method using a complete randomizet design (RAL) consisting of four treatments and three test : treatmean A (dose 10% ), B (dose 15%),C (dose 20 %), and D (dose 25 %).the analysis of variance (ANOVA) on the length growth of giant gurami shows an insignificant effect (Sig > 0,05) that makes H0 confirmend and H1 rejected.concurrently,the analisis of varience (ANOVA) on the weight growth of giant gurame shows a significant result (Sig < 0,05) that makes H0 rejekted and H1 confirmed.the result also discloses that the proper dose is in treatment A (dose 10 %), obtained from 3,88 cm in length and 2,03 grams in weight of giant gurami.
