Abstract

This article aims to analyze media perceptions in the coverage of Medan Mayor Boby Nasution on the rejection of LGBT in Medan City. LGBT should not have happened in Indonesia, especially in the city of Medan because it has violated Pancasila, cultural and religious norms that have become legal provisions in Indonesia. This study implements a qualitative descriptive method with framing analysis techniques in the form of documentation and media observations. The results include: the movement of the LGBT group does not have the space or scope to accept it in Indonesia, because its existence itself has been banned by regulations and applicable social norms, because in essence this group only brings a disaster of deviation to teenagers who have absolutely no element of benefit for the people.

Abstract

Now days, the home environment is still much less supportive of life for the elderly, most elderly living at home need a companion to help them. Safety, health, happiness and independence will be difficult for them to get even the elderly will be further away from the surrounding environment. Based on population projection 2017 data there are 23.66 million elderly people in Indonesia and predicted in 2020 there are 27.08 million people elderly. Smart homes that are currently widely studied have not focused on elderly; most smart homes only provide a sense of security and convenience for adult residents. And this will be a problem that until now has not solved the improvement of human life through technology to get happiness, care and health especially for the elderly. In many cases of the elderly, it is easier to send them to live in a nursing home and that keeps them separated from their families for the rest of their lives. That's what makes them less happiness. Orange Technology is a collection of technological elements to improve human life by getting happiness, Care and health. This study reviewed the journals of scientific databases such as IEEE explore, ACM digital library and Proquest published from 2002 to 2017. From the search results obtained 54 papers that will answer the scientific questions of this research. The result of this research is a framework of smart house that has Sensor, Monitoring, Wireless, Scalability, Low cost, GPS and ease of installation and maintenance as components of smart house of orange technology for elderly.

Abstract

The successful adoption of programmable machines for complex tasks opens up opportunities for productivity and more efficient communication, but also poses serious challenges in IT project management. This study aims to tackle the issue of high project failure rates caused by inadequate planning. It aims to assist project managers in enhancing their project planning by implementing real-time solutions through the utilization of machine learning (ML) algorithms and a user-friendly graphical interface. This research is divided into two key phases. The initial phase involves an examination of existing literature in the field of machine learning to identify relevant concepts applicable to project management. In the subsequent stage, two distinct types of ML algorithms, namely example-based learning and regression modeling, will be integrated into a user-friendly platform. This research develops a system that utilizes machine learning algorithms to assist project managers in real-time or near real-time through a user-friendly graphical interface, with a focus on improving project planning and risk mitigation. This research shows that machine learning algorithms provide positive results in overcoming human factors and preventing risks based on the experience of project managers.

Abstract

Money is a tool used to carry out buying and selling transactions and has been used by all humans in every corner of the world. This definitely makes money a basic commodity for everyone, even for people with disabilities such as the blind. The blind's limitations in seeing are a problem in terms of communication so they only rely on their sense of touch and hearing. The weakness of the blind in seeing and identifying money can cause money to be exchanged, taken wrongly, or even deceived by counterfeit money when buying and selling. Referring to this, it is necessary to have tools that can make it easier for the blind to identify the authenticity of money and the nominal value of money. The aim of this research is to design a tool that can be used to detect the authenticity of the nominal value of Rupiah banknotes. This tool uses a TCS3200-DB color sensor to detect the color of banknotes, then the microcontroller converts it into RGB data and outputs it in the form of sound output.and an ultraviolet sensor to detect the authenticity of money. The result of this research is that the system can recognize the authenticity and nominal value of moneypaper, especially rupiah. This makes it easier for users, especially the visually impaired, to carry out buying and selling transactions so they don't make mistakesto give or receive money.

Abstract

The development of increasingly sophisticated pharmaceutical industry technology requires researchers to develop technology in the pharmaceutical industry that can help employees carry out their duties. As we know, technology is very helpful in providing job data in industry. Information technology can improve the quality of work in industry. One of them is about monitoring temperature and humidity in the non-sterile drug production room. This temperature and humidity is monitored by the QA ( Quality Assurance )/Quality Assurance department, which is used to see whether the temperature and humidity of the non-sterile drug production room are well conditioned.Based on the existing problems, it is necessary to have an intelligent system that can monitor temperature and humidity precisely and periodically. One of them is creating an Internet of Things (IoT) Implementation tool for Simulating Temperature and Humidity in a Non-Sterile Medicine Production Room Using an Arduino and Web Based Temperature Sensor ( LM35 ) and Humidity Sensor ( DHT 22 ). This tool will periodically detect the temperature and humidity in each non-sterile drug production room. If the temperature exceeds the maximum limit in the non-sterile drug production room, the fan will turn on to release the hot air inside. All the data that has been collected will be processed by the Arduino Uno R3 Microcontroller and will be displayed on the website as an interface . For early detection, a DC Fan appears on the website that rotates if the temperature exceeds the maximum limit. Data transmission uses ESP8266 as a wireless module .
