Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of capital, labor productivity and labor wages in the labor absorption on small industries in Palangka Raya City partially or simultan. This type of study was quantitative study by conducting interviews and questionnaires to 100 respondents of small industry entrepreneurs in Palangka Raya City ( Case studies in the sub-districts of Pahandut, Jekan Raya and Sabangau) by using multiple linear regression analysis tool. The results of this study showed that simultaneously capital, labor productivity and labor wages have a significant effect on employment. Partially capital, labor productivity and labor wages have a significant effect on labor absorption

Abstract

This study analyzes how the partial and simultaneous influence of the components of exports, government spending and inflation on economic growth. The method used in this research is descriptive-quantitative approach. The data used in this study is time series data for 2010-2019 in the quarter period in Central Kalimantan Province. The collected data is then analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression, the software used is Eviews version 9. The results of this study indicate that partially exports have a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth. Government Expenditure partially has a negative and insignificant effect on Economic Growth. Inflation partially positive and significant effect on economic growth. And overall Exports, Government Expenditures, and Inflation simultaneously have no effect on Economic Growth.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an empirical explanation of the effect of Investment, Economic Growth, Inflation, Minimum Wage and HDI on Open Unemployment in Kalimantan Region. The research method used is panel data regression analysis method using Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The type of data used is secondary data. Secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Kalimantan Region. The data that has been collected is then analyzed with panel data regression using the Fixed Effect Model where this model uses the Chow Test and Hausman Test to see the Effect of Investment, Economic Growth, Inflation, Minimum Wage and HDI on Open Unemployment in Kalimantan Region using Stata 16.0 software. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that Investment, Economic Growth, Inflation, Minimum Wage and HDI have a significant effect on Open Unemployment in Kalimantan

Abstract

This research aims to analyze ; Financial independence of West Kotawaringin Regency, the influence of regional financial independence on economic growth and rate of povertyin West Kotawaringin Regency. This research use quantitative descriptive method. This research using Secondary data that form as time series from 2009-2018. Data collection using library research method. Analyze data by using path analysis model. The results showed that The Financial Independence of West Kotawaringin Regency is still low. The level of regional financial independence directly has a positive influence on economic growth and has a negative influence on the rate of poverty. Indirectly, the level of regional financial independence has a negative influence on the rete of poverty in West Kotawaringin Regency.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to observe the cost, revenue, business profit and income from Swallow nest in Kampung Keramat Village Katingan Kuala District. This study use quantitative. By using an income analysis , R/C Ratio and Break Event Point. The population in this study are all entrepreneurs of Swallow nest population in Kampung Keramat Village Kecamatan Katingan Kuala, this study use all 23 population by entrepreneurs swallow nest. The result showed average amount for one cycle or equal to three months Rp. 6.786.304, average income obtain Rp. 16.000.000,- for one cycle, average revenue Rp. 9.213.696,- for one cycle. The hypothesis acceptable seen from the result of the analysis R/C ratio more than one, which is 2,35 and BEP (Q) 0.85 kg and BEP (Rp) Rp. 3.393.152,- can be confirmed to reach break even point

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the dynamic relationship between inflation and commodity groups of goods and services in Central Kalimantan Province. This type of research is quantitative with research methods using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) model. Data processing is done using the EViews Version 10 Application. The results of this study show that between Inflation and Commodity Goods / Services there is a dynamic relationship seen from the positive and negative trend movements of variables in each period. There is also a cointegration relationship or long-term relationship between variables meaning that each movement of the inflation average in a given year will affect the movement of the average in the following year. And there is also a causality relationship or two-way reciprocal relationship between Sandang Commodities and Food Commodities, Inflation and Educational Commodities, Recreation and sports, Sandang commodities and Finished Food Commodities, Beverages, Cigarettes and tobacco. This means that every movement of one commodity has an effect on the other commodity.

Abstract

This study aims to find out which economic sectors are the leading sectors in Indonesia, to know the structure of the regional economy, to find out the development of the leading economic sectors and to find out which sectors have potential sectors in Gunung Mas Regency. The analysis tools used are Location Quotient Analysis, Shift Share, Klassen Typology and Growth Ratio Model. From the results of the analysis it can be concluded from the four analytical tools: (1) the results of the Location Quotient analysis, namely the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, the Construction Sector, the Food and Drink Accommodation Provision Sector, the Information and Communication Sector, the Real Estate Sector, the Service Sector Companies, the Government Administration Sector, Defense and Compulsory Social Security, the Education Services Sector, and the Health Services and Social Activities Sector which are the leading economic sectors in Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. (2) The results of the Shift Share analysis are that there is no shift in the economic structure in Gunung Mas Regency. (3) The results of the Klassen Typology, namely the Advanced and Rapidly Growing Sector (Quadrant I) in Gunung Mas Regency are the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, the Mining and Quarrying Sector, the Construction Sector and the Information and Communication Sector. (4) The results of the analysis of the Growth Ratio Model, that the Potential sector is the Wholesale and Retail Trade Sector; Car and Motorcycle Repair, Real Estate Sector, Government Administration Sector, Defense and Compulsory Social Security, Health Services and Social Activities Sector

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of MSMEs in the city of Palangka Raya and analyze the strategy of developing MSMEs in the city of Palangka Raya based on the internal and external situation of MSMEs. The sample used in this study amounted to 45 MSMEs in the city of Palangka Raya. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. This study uses descriptive analysis tools, environmental analysis (internal and external), and SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of MSMEs in Palangka Raya City are more dominant in the trading business sector with a percentage reaching 71.25%. In determining the MSMEs development strategy in Palangka Raya City, it is seen based on environmental analysis and SWOT analysis, which shows the position is in quadrant I where market penetration and product development are strategies that can be used, then the SO (Strengths-Opportunities) strategy is a strategy that uses strength to take advantage of existing opportunities, expand distribution reach and establish cooperative/partnership relationships as alternative strategies in this analysis.
