The data analysis techniques used in this study include validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, t-test (partial), and coefficient of determination (R²), which were processed using the SPSS program. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the implementation of the Self Assessment System has a positive and significant effect on the compliance of individual taxpayers with fixed income (civil servants) at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test which show a t-value of 17.783 with a significance level of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.790 indicates that 79% of the variation in taxpayer compliance can be explained by the Self Assessment System variable, while the remaining 21% is influenced by other variables outside the research model.

The research population consisted of 117 active farmers, while the sample was determined using the Slovin formula so that 91 respondents were obtained. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS version 29. The results showed that partially training had a positive and significant effect on farmer productivity with t count 2,509 > t table 1,987. Labor has a positive but not significant effect on productivity with t count 1.019 < t table 1.987, which indicates that increased productivity is not only determined by the number of workers, but also the quality and effectiveness of their utilization. Work experience has a positive and significant effect and is the most dominant variable with t count 8.626 > t table 1.987. Simultaneously, training, labor, and work experience have a significant effect on farmer productivity with the result F count 138.928 > F table 2.71. The correlation coefficient (R) of 0.910 indicates that the relationship between training, labor, and work experience on farmer productivity is classified as very strong. The coefficient of determination (R 2 ) shows that the three variables are able to explain farmer productivity by 82.7%, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dilemma of implementing a debt system in grocery stores in relation to increasing consumer purchasing power and managing vendor finances. The debt system is a common practice in micro-enterprises based on trust and social relations, especially among low-income communities. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a case study design at a grocery store in Teluknaga District. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of the store owners and customers, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that the debt system plays a significant role in helping consumers maintain purchasing power and meet basic needs amid economic constraints. In addition, this practice can also increase customer loyalty and strengthen social relationships between sellers and consumers. However, the debt system also poses various challenges for sellers, particularly related to cash flow management, increased risk of bad debts, and hampered business capital turnover. This condition creates a dilemma for business actors between maintaining social relationships with customers and maintaining business financial stability. Therefore, a more structured debt management strategy is needed, such as limiting the amount of debt, systematic record-keeping, and payment monitoring to minimize risks without eliminating the social function of the debt system. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of the informal economy and decision-making in micro-enterprises.
