Abstract

This research aims to examine stock investment decisions in telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using a technical analysis approach. This research does not use hypotheses, so quantitative descriptive research is used. The purposive sampling method was used to obtain a representative sample in accordance with the sampling criteria, namely telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The object of the research is data in the form of graphs and trends in monthly stock price movements of three issuers in the fourth quartile of 2023 starting from October-December 2023. The research results show that the analysis of the three stocks above shows that MACD crossovers often give false signals if they are not confirmed by indicator movements momentum like RSI. In the case of TLKM and ISAT, even though the MACD has crossed over, the RSI actually moves in the opposite direction or at least does not provide a strong response, so there is potential for a reversal. Likewise with EXCL where even though a MACD crossover occurred, the RSI did not penetrate a significant level to validate the signal. Overall, MACD crossovers without the support of evidence of changes in momentum from the RSI tend to be weak and inaccurate. It takes confirmation from other indicators for a MACD crossover to truly indicate a long-term trend change instead of just a high-risk temporary move. Thus, it is important to carry out multi-factor validation so that the MACD crossover signal is stronger before being used as a reference for entry or exit positions.

Abstract

Shares are a very popular investment product today. Moreover, shares can achieve very high returns compared to other investment products. However, shares are also closely related to investment risk. Therefore, to avoid the risks of investing in shares, you should develop various strategies before buying shares. The method used in this paper is quantitative descriptive. Determining the sample in this study used a Purposive Sampling technique with the criteria of food and beverage companies that were consistently listed on the IDX and distributed dividends to their shareholders in 2022, thus obtaining 5 sample companies, namely MLBI, AALI, ULTJ, INDF, MYOR. The data collection technique is by using documentation analysis. And the data analysis technique uses manual calculations using the stock assessment formula TATO, ROE, EPS, CR, DER, DPR, and the PER and PBV share price assessment formulas. Based on fundamental analysis and stock price assessment, these 5 food and beverage companies are worthy of investment. But the INDF company is the most worthy company to invest in. Even though the ROE is relatively low (10%), the INDF company's PER is below 15x (6.04) indicating that the share price is still considered cheap by investors.

Abstract

The world economy will feel the impact of rising commodity prices due to the crises in Ukraine and Russia. In addition, inflation around the world will increase due to rising food and energy prices. In addition, the imposition of economic sanctions on Russia by the United States and its allies has further exacerbated not only the armed conflict but also the world economic recovery. This qualitative research approach was implemented through literature reviews and field studies. The global economy, including Indonesia, will be greatly affected by the diplomacy carried out by the Indonesian government in response to Russia's military action against Ukraine. Worldwide disruption of food and energy supplies will occur as a result of this conflict. In the midst of increasing prices of various commodities and crude oil on the international market, the Indonesian government is expected to implement proactive steps to manage inflation.

Abstract

One of the most real threats from the increasingly heated Hamas-Israel conflict is the soaring world crude oil prices. Geographically, the proximity of the conflict in the Middle East is quite close to oil-producing countries. If the supply or distribution of oil from this area is disrupted. A significant increase in oil prices in a short time can have a tremendous shock effect on the market, the impact of this increase in commodities will spread to the national economy. This research was conducted using descriptive analysis. The process of Israel's annexation of Palestine will be described and analyzed in detail. The Indonesian government, through the first paragraph of the preamble to the 1945 Constitution, has the obligation to realize world peace by creating a new environment free from sovereignty conflicts, and clear and well-defined authority over economic activities that can take the Palestinian economy further towards the path of higher development and growth. Playing a direct diplomatic role by becoming the fifth of four countries currently the main actor in maintaining peace in the Middle East.
