Abstract

Objective: This study explores the latest advancements in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) therapy, focusing on molecular approaches, immunotherapy, and drug delivery systems to enhance therapeutic efficacy and personalization. Method: A systematic review of scientific literature and bioinformatics analysis was conducted to identify molecular subgroups of RA and assess the effectiveness of innovative drug delivery systems, including pH-sensitive hydrogels and transfersomal formulations. Comparative studies between rituximab and tocilizumab were also analyzed, particularly in anti-TNF refractory patients. Results: The findings reveal three molecular subgroups of RA based on transcriptomic profiles, enabling more personalized therapeutic strategies. Advanced drug delivery systems demonstrated a 45% improvement in bioavailability compared to conventional oral formulations. Tocilizumab showed higher efficacy than rituximab in patients with low B-cell expression. However, immunogenicity challenges, with anti-drug antibodies reducing therapeutic efficacy by 40-60%, remain significant. Additionally, non-pharmacological therapies, such as acupuncture, reduced systemic complications, including dementia, by 22%. Novelty: This study highlights the importance of personalized RA treatment based on molecular profiling and introduces innovative drug delivery systems, marking a pivotal shift toward more effective and individualized therapeutic strategies. Future research should focus on more precise biomarker identification and tailored therapeutic approaches for distinct molecular subgroups.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to explore the experiences of widowed women in Lima Puluh Kota District, focusing on social, psychological, and economic challenges they face. Method: A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, utilizing primary data from widowed women and community leaders, along with secondary data from relevant documentation. Results: The findings reveal that widowed women in Lima Puluh Kota District experience profound emotional loss, social stigma, and changes in social roles, leading to feelings of isolation, anxiety, and insecurity. Economically, they face increased financial responsibilities, often relying on informal jobs or small businesses to meet their living needs. Despite these challenges, a process of recovery and self-empowerment is observed among some women. Novelty: This study provides a comprehensive understanding of the complex interplay between social stigma, psychological adaptation, and economic resilience among widowed women, contributing to the limited literature on widowhood experiences in rural Indonesian contexts.

Abstract

Objective: Asthma is a chronic inflammation of the Pulmonary air passages, Many cells and cellular elements play a significant part in its occurrence, especially T lymphocytes. This inflammation in sensitive individuals causes frequent symptoms such as coughing, difficulty breathing, and asthma disease is characterized by increased immune overresponse in the bronchi, affected by several triggers, including inflammatory cytokines, which are crucial in the development of asthma. These include cytokines the TNF-α and IFN-γ, which contribute to the excessive immune response of the Bronchial passages leading to bronchonchial contraction. This study aimed to  the Measurement of immunological standards TNF-α and IFN-γ in the serum of asthma patients and to study the extent of the effect of these two cytokines in increasing the severity of the disease and understanding the specific roles of these cytokines in the development of asthma and its pathological mechanisms. Method: 60 samples were collected from asthma patients who are reviewing the Allergy and Asthma Center in Marjan hospital in Babylon governorate and 40 healthy people who were used as a control group. Immunoassays were conducted for blood serum samples collected from patients and healthy patients by enzyme-linked immunoadsorption to measure TNF-α and IFN-γ. Results: showed that there was a moral increase TNF-α and IFN-γ levels in serum of asthma patients (p<0.05) while the concentrations of immunological standards in the control group serum decreased. Novelty: According to the this study, asthma patients have an increase in the concentrations of TNF-α and IFN-γ in their serums compared to the serum of the control group,Which serves to shed new light on the role of these two cytokines in the exacerbation of asthma, in order to manufacture inhibitory drugs that target them.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to explore the characteristics of children with hearing impairments and design suitable intervention strategies to support their development at UPTD Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Sidoarjo. Method: A qualitative descriptive approach was used, employing observations and interviews, and guided by the TEACCH-based assessment matrix to analyze each child’s strengths and weaknesses. Results: The findings indicate notable strengths in sound detection, while significant challenges were observed in sound imitation and social interaction. Based on these assessments, individualized learning plans were formulated through collaborative efforts among teachers, parents, and therapists. A structured and consistent approach, including environmental support and periodic evaluations, was shown to enhance the child’s confidence and improve educational outcomes. Novelty: This study contributes to the limited research on region-specific interventions for children with hearing impairments in Indonesia, emphasizing the integration of TEACCH-based assessments within inclusive education frameworks. The collaborative model presented serves as a replicable approach for optimizing support systems and tailoring interventions to meet the evolving needs of children with special needs.

Abstract

Objective: This study investigates the socio-economic challenges faced by Muslim families in the U.S. due to the interest-based student loan system, which conflicts with Islamic principles that explicitly prohibit riba (interest). Method: A comprehensive analysis of the student loan crisis in the U.S. is conducted, incorporating recent data and examining contemporary Islamic scholarly views on the permissibility of student loans. Results: The findings reveal that the existing student loan system imposes significant financial burdens on Muslim families and graduates, highlighting the growing dilemma of balancing religious principles with educational and economic needs. The paper also identifies alternative financial models that align with Islamic teachings. Novelty: This research contributes to the ongoing discourse on Islamic finance by providing a critical examination of the student loan system in the U.S. through the lens of Islamic law, offering practical recommendations for Muslim communities to address this issue in the future.
