Abstract

Motorcycles are a means of transportation that people often use to meet their daily needs. However, not everyone can afford to buy a new motorbike, so many people are switching to used motorbikes. Finding a used motorcycles that suits your needs can be a difficult challenge for some people and of course there are many factors that must be considered. The solution that can be done for this problem is to use the semantic ontology model with the Methodology method. The design of the ontology model of used motorcycle products uses the protégé application, the ontology model is developed into a structure in protégé with a hierarchical structure of classes, slots, properties, etc. Used motorcycle product ontology development model produces 13 classes, 5 object properties, 5 data properties, and 68 individuals or instances in each class. Abstract

In general, plants really need water and fertilizer for their growth process. Busy daily life makes plant owners pay less attention to their plants, this will result in plants lacking nutrition and will wilt or die. In this research the aim is to build a smart plant watering system for plants with an Arduino Uno microcontroller. Providing water and fertilizer to plants is automatically controlled by a microcontroller as a control center. The automatic system works based on information from several sensors regarding soil conditions in plants. Plant watering is carried out when the soil moisture sensor (HW-080) reads soil moisture according to a predetermined set point, if the soil content value is below 400 then the soil has moist status, if the soil content is above 400 – 900 then the soil has normal status, but if If the content is >900 then the soil status is dry. To apply liquid fertilizer to plants, use the Real Time Clock (RTC Ds3231) which functions as a schedule for administering liquid fertilizer by first setting the day and time in the program according to the set point that has been made. Abstract

Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) is an algorithm in the process of data clustering that has limitations in the form of being sensitive to the parameters used so that in some cases, the final solution provided is not an optimal solution. One of the influential parameters is the fuzziness level of the algorithm. This parameter is a random real number greater than 1. The determination of these parameters is adjusted to the data used and evaluated with the condition that it reaches a minimum number of iterations for convergence, a small objective final value, and a DBI cluster validity value close to 0. In this study, Indonesian automotive sales data received the optimal algorithm fuzzy level parameter at a value of 2 with other fixed parameters, such as the number of clusters is 3, the smallest error expected to be is 0.00001, and the maximum iteration is 100.

Abstract

This paper presented the design of an Android user interface for monitoring electricity usage based on the Internet of Things (IoT). Adoption of using IoT devices in the energy sector increase rapidly, there is a need for user-friendly interfaces that allow users to monitor and manage their electricity consumption effectively. The proposed research was designing of Android interface which provides real-time information on energy usage, allowing users to track their electricity consumption patterns, set energy-saving goals, and receive alerts or recommendations for optimizing energy usage. The design emphasizes a visually appealing and intuitive interface, enabling users to easily navigate through energy-related data and control connected devices remotely. The interface leverages IoT technology to collect and display data from smart power meters or connected devices, enhancing energy awareness, and promoting energy-efficient behaviors. The effectiveness of the interface is evaluated through user studies, considering factors such as usability, user satisfaction, and energy conservation behavior. Abstract

Several diseases that can attack human health can be transmitted through disease vectors. One of the insects belonging to the disease vector is the mosquito. Diseases that can attack humans due to transmission through mosquitoes include malaria, dengue fever, chikungunya, yellow fever, rift valley fever, and many more. With so many types of diseases that are transmitted by mosquitoes and the symptoms that look quite similar, a classification process is carried out to distinguish the types of diseases. In this study, the classification was carried out using the Random Forest algorithm withthe LASSO algorithm for feature selection. It was found that the average accuracy values of the Random Forest before and after carrying out feature selection using LASSO were 88% and 76%, respectively. From the values obtained, it can be concluded that the Random Forest has better performance without feature selection using the LASSO method. Abstract

Air pollution is one of the most dangerous issues for health in the current industrial 4.0 era. Air quality, especially in big cities such as Jakarta, which is the capital of Indonesia as well as the center of government, is an issue that is being eradicated by the government. With a very high percentage of the productive age of the population in the city of Jakarta, motor vehicle activity in the city of Jakarta will also be equivalent to the productive age of the population of the city of Jakarta. This study will design an air quality classification system using the K-Nearest Neighbors method. Before being classified, a data preprocessing process will be carried out, such as handling missing values ??and handling outliers. In addition, because the data obtained is quite small, a K-Fold Validation process will be carried out for the model selection process. Finally, the performance evaluation of the model will be carried out using the confusion matrix method.

Abstract

This research focuses on music genre classification based on spectral features and Support Vector Machine (SVM). Features such as Spectral Centroid, Spectral Rolloff, Spectral Flux, and Spectral Bandwidth are extracted from MP3 music audio. The dataset comprising 4 music genres is utilized for training and testing the system. The extracted spectral features are fed into the SVM classifier to predict the genre of test samples. Python and machine learning are both used in developing the system while the experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of SVM in accurately classifying music genres based on the current extracted features. The proposed approach contributes to automated music genre classification systems, facilitating music organization, recommendation, and retrieval. Abstract

ID cards are very important to have as identification of the owner. At Udayana University, every student has a KTM (Kartu Tanda Mahasiswa). KTM is just an identity that is general in nature and incomplete. Here the author wants to apply technology that combines virtual objects in a real 3-dimensional environment, namely Augmented Reality technology as a medium for introducing students to the Udayana Informatics Study Program. The use of Augmented Reality technology can be used to provide information in 3-dimensional form so that it becomes more interesting through smartphones. Through the creation of Augmented Reality applications for the introduction of Udayana informatics students, it is hoped that it will be able to provide a better, complete and interactive means of introduction in providing student identity information.

Abstract

Short stories are fascinating literary works to read because they present concise narratives that don't require readers to spend a lot of time to complete a story. Although the stories are short, determining the story category still requires careful reading to understand the content. However, it can become challenging when there is a large number of stories to be classified. Therefore, this research aims to develop a system that can automatically classify short story texts. The method used in this research is SVM (Support Vector Machine). The research is conducted to assist in automatically classifying short stories and create a system that bridges people to enjoying written works while enhancing literacy. The data used consists of short stories in the categories of romance, horror, and religion. The best-performing model is obtained through the training and validation process using new data. The results of testing the SVM method with a 70:30 data scenario, and hyperparameter C=10, gamma = 0.1 with kernel rbf or gamma = scale with kernel linear, yield an accuracy of 96% with a precision of 96.72%, recall of 96.36%, and an f1-score of 96.40%.
