Abstract

Along with population growth and urban development, the demand for clean water is increasing. Water reservoirs are an effective solution to this problem, by storing large amounts of water in specially designed tanks. Water reservoirs are one of the important components in the household water supply system. This study aims to make it easier for users to monitor the condition of the water in the reservoir. The tools used are arduino uno R3, green LED, yellow LED, red LED, ultrasonic distance sensor, DC motor, piezo, push button, and h-bridge motor driver. This system is designed using the prototype method, so that users can easily see real-time water levels via mobile devices. Keywords: Water reservoir, Arduino uno R3, Prototype.

Abstract

Batik is one of the cultural arts recognized worldwide as a human heritage for oral and non-material culture by UNESCO since October 2009. It is known that in antiquity, the batik was a garment thatworn by relatives of the royal palace and not to be worn by commoners, even some patterns or motifs of batik can only be worn by certain groups because it has philosophical values and is used in traditional ceremonies. In Indonesia, batik has existed since the Majapahit era and was very popular in the following century. Until the 20th century all batik produced was written batik, which was only known as stamped batik. Therefore, batik is one of the cultural arts heritage that should be preserved and developed. The feature implemented in this application is a chatbot where the chatbot will provide messages containing information about batik motifs from each province in Indonesia. This application is also equipped with several features on the website, namely the home feature, the Indonesian batik feature, the historical feature that discusses the history of batik, and the chatbot feature.

Abstract

Public complaints are an important mechanism in maintaining accountability of the government and other organizations, as well as strengthening relations between the government and citizens. Public complaints provide an opportunity for individuals or groups to report problems, dissatisfaction, or violations they experience related to public services, corruption, human rights violations, and so on. However, in some cases in some areas it is still difficult to make complaints about the environment that occur in the community. Therefore, we have compiled this journal with the title "Website-based public complaint information system" to help the public in making complaints against local governments. The information system has of course become a very integral tool for human life, therefore the existence of a "website-based public complaint information system" can help the public easily. Abstract

Spotify is a platform that provides services for listening to music digitally that can be downloaded through the Google Play Store and The App Store can also be downloaded for PC. Currently, Spotify has 433 million users. With so many users, it is certainly inseparable from the reviews or ratings given to the Spotify application which will also have an impact on the platform. In order to improve the service to be better, these reviews need to be reviewed so that users are more comfortable in using the application. Through this research, it will be known the performance of the Naïve Bayes algorithm in conducting sentiment analysis on user reviews of the Spotify application on the Google Play Store. The results of this study show that the accuracy value of using Naïve Bayes is 85% from a ratio of 70:30 training data and testing data using a music dataset from 1 January 2022 to 9 July 2022, there were 61586 reviews from users taken from the Kaggle website.

Abstract

During the last 36 years, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has received more than 5 million calls about cases of missing children. In 2019 alone, the NCMEC assisted law enforcement and families with more than 29,000 cases of missing children. In Asia itself, it is estimated that there are around 20,000 to 200,000 missing children. More precisely in China and Southeast Asia. To help reduce the rate of loss of children in Indonesia, the authors created a design solution using the prototyping and UML methods. By using this prototype, users will be able to track the child's location and provide assistance in the form of a help button if something happens to the child. With this solution, it is hoped that it can help children who are in an emergency and parents who have lost their children so as to suppress the growth of cases of missing children. Abstract

Online newspapers are content that can be a source of information or entertainment for the audience. There are so many online newspapers on the internet and also from various publishers. This condition causes the available news to be very varied and with different structures. If in certain cases we want to group these online newspapers efficiently, then a technique will be needed that will be able to group these online newspapers efficiently into several groups so that the available online newspapers can be more structured to be enjoyed according to the needs and tastes of the readers. The technique that can be applied is topic modeling. In the case of modeling the topic of Indonesian online newspapers, currently LDA is one of the most widely applied algorithms. So, this study aims to determine whether the performance of using the DistilBERT model will be better or not when compared to commonly used algorithms such as LDA for topic modeling tasks in Indonesian online newspapers.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce technology has provided significant benefits in facilitating online transactions. However, one of the problems that is often faced by e-commerce companies is the management of return packages, where customers return goods that have been purchased. In order to optimize the package return management process, an effective prediction method is needed to estimate the possibility of returning packages by customers. With a website-based package return prediction system, e-commerce companies can take appropriate actions to manage return packages more efficiently. For example, they can adjust their inventory strategy, improve product quality, or provide special promotional offers to customers who have a high probability of returning packages. This can help increase customer satisfaction, reduce the cost of managing return packages, and increase the overall operational efficiency of the company. Abstract

Abstract Now, information technology is developing rapidly. Information systems provide convenience, especially in the field of education such as information systems at Udayana University. In addition, in universities, information systems are also used in elementary schools and high schools. Information systems must have good security. The requirements that must be met are privacy, integrity, authentication, and availability. However, no information system is completely secure. Like the information system at Udayana University has a vulnerability where it is still possible to be attacked by unauthorized parties. System vulnerability has three levels, namely low level, medium level, and high level. This can disrupt a system and information can be changed by unauthorized parties. Therefore, it is necessary to scan the Udayana University information system to find out system vulnerabilities. The author uses the Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner tool. The results of the scanning can be used as a reference for evaluating system vulnerabilities so that further system security can be improved better than before. Abstract

NanoComic is an online platform that enables users to read comics online. The purpose of this research is to design a user interface and user experience based on mobile devices, aligning with the increasing interest in reading comics nowadays. The method employed in this study is the system usability scale, which is used to measure the extent to which the system can be easily used from the subjective perspective of users through the completion of Likert-scale questionnaires. Abstract

The security of gym member data files is an important aspect of maintaining the privacy and security of personal information stored in the gym management system. In this study, we propose the application of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm as a solution to secure gym member data files. AES is an encryption algorithm known for its high security and has been extensively used in information security applications. In this implementation, each gym member's data files, such as profiles, addresses, and other personal information, will be encrypted using a secret key that only the system knows. With encryption using AES, even if the member's data file is stolen or accessed illegally, the information contained in it remains safe and cannot be read without the correct secret key. The results of the trial found that this application succeeded in encrypting some member data files with .pdf format into the. rda format, then decrypting them back into the original file form without changing the original file size. So, it can be shown that the use of the AES algorithm in securing gym member data files provides a high level of security and protects sensitive information from unauthorized parties.
