Abstract

Basically, learning is a process carried out by teachers and students to create changes in the behavior of individual students. Changes that occur as a result of learning can take place in various forms, such as skills, habits, attitudes, acceptance, or appreciation, which include aspects of self-state, knowledge, or individual actions. In line with professional responsibility as a teacher, it is important for them to always prepare everything related to the learning program in carrying out learning activities. This assessment aims to find out the ability to choose and determine learning materials. This is a challenge for both teachers and learners. The research method applied in this paper is a qualitative method, suitable for investigating conditions or situations in an educational context. The literature study approach is used to collect information from various sources such as books and journals, which aim to support and complement the discussion. This objective must be in line with the competency standards and basic competencies that learners want to achieve. Therefore, the selected learning materials must really support the achievement of the basic competency standards and indicators that have been set. In the selection of learning materials, it is necessary to consider the type, scope, sequence, and way of presenting the material. Success is influenced by factors such as learning structure, student motivation, teacher expectations, classroom questions, and time optimization Finally, the discussion of character education includes the selection of a character education model that suits the school situation and delivery methods that are in line with the model. Methods such as modeling, active student participation, democracy, co-discovery, and hands-on learning are described as ways to deliver character education to students.

Abstract

The church essentially does not only refer to a physical structure or an organization but also as a community of Catholic believers. The Church is part of the world so the Church also takes part in the development and progress of the world, including participating in political life. This research aims to understand the extent of the church's role in preparing Catholics for the 2024 General Election, to find out the causes of Catholics' reluctance to participate in politics and the church's efforts to prepare Catholics for the 2023 Election. This research uses library methods by collecting information, analyzing and develop understanding of the information obtained. From the information obtained, it can be seen that the Church's ministry in the field of politics is a calling for the church to carry out its mission in the world as an embodiment of the Kingdom of God which is rooted in the Catholic faith.

Abstract

The model for cultivating congregation members in the Book of Mark is a single wickedness that is an important part of expanding the Christian family. This article intends to review examples of church community formation that are provided in the Book of Mark. The approach in this point uses a qualitative approach plus discussion of Biblical literature and knowledge of the context. The results of the analysis show that the Book of Mark provides various lessons and examples regarding the formation of congregation members. This article provides practical guidance for every church leader and Christian religious educator in carrying out the development of congregation members.

Abstract

This research aims to explore teachers' ability to apply feedback in the context of Christian Religious Education learning. Through a qualitative approach, this research seeks sources and reconstructs them from various sources such as books, journals and current research. The results show that teachers' ability to apply effective feedback in Christian religious education learning has a positive impact on students' understanding. The findings highlight the important role of feedback in improving understanding of Christianity concepts. Teachers who are able to provide specific, constructive and well-timed feedback will create meaningful learning.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of feeding many people and its implementation today. Nowadays, challenges such as poverty, hunger and unequal access to food are still serious problems in various places. This article aims to analyze the importance of feeding many people and present several implementations that can be done to overcome this problem, and also provide teaching that can influence and encourage people to help each other and foster a sense of empathy with others. In this research, the author analyzes and interprets text from the Bible 2 Kings 4:42-44. This book tells about the history of the reign of several Kings in the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah, especially in this verse which focuses on the Miracle performed by the Prophet Elisha on one hundred people through God's blessing. Teaching in Christianity teaches the values of compassion, social care, and service to others. Through a qualitative approach, this paper explores how Christian values such as responsibility, love and kindness can be applied in feeding efforts involving large numbers of people. The results of this paper highlight the important role of Christian teachings in shaping food programs, both in supporting communities in need and managing food programs that are in accordance with Christian religious values and relevant to current social dynamics.

Abstract

The teacher's ability to summarize learning material for students is important because it will provide confirmation of the material that has been studied at the meeting. In concluding the material the teacher can provide a summary of important points regarding the material studied at the meeting. Students will also find it easier to understand the meeting material. Students come to know the essence of learning. The aim of summarizing the learning material is to determine the teacher's level of success in providing explanations of the subject matter. This study covers various methods and strategies used in summarizing learning material, including training, collaboration between teachers, and the application of educational technology. Through the use of these approaches, this journal explores the results of improving the quality of teaching and learning processes in education. The results of this research underline the importance of developing teachers' abilities in summarizing learning material as one of the main factors in creating an effective learning environment. This journal provides valuable insights for educators, educational policy makers, and researchers to continue to develop approaches that can improve teachers' abilities to summarize learning material effectively, which in turn will contribute to increasing student achievement and the overall quality of education

Abstract

Abstract

Community empowerment in Pearung Village through preserving the Sipinsur Geosite is part of tourism development efforts. This research uses a literature detective method and the author reveals that the search for economic and social potential resulting from the management of natural resources and the tourism sector in an area. Indonesia as a country rich in natural resources has great potential to improve its economy and regional growth through tourism development. Pearung Village in Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra, is a clear example of how the use of the Sipinsur Geosite is an initiative in tourism development. This not only creates an attraction for visitors but also empowers local communities. The government has an important role in supporting community empowerment through education, training and infrastructure improvement programs. The impact can be seen in economic growth, improving the quality of life, and infrastructure development in Pearung Village. Tourism development not only increases the number of tourists, but also brings significant changes in the daily lives of residents, such as improving the agricultural sector and improving infrastructure.

Abstract

World progress is felt in various aspects and is very dominant in the field of technology, the development of digitalization makes the world without borders because it reaches every group in all corners of the world. Various applications are offered to make friends through this virtual world and the one that is very popular at the moment is Facebook. Facebook accounts have become popular among people because apart from the interesting features, Facebook can easily access friends without having to meet physically. The development of technological advances is considered good because it helps facilitate the movement of the world in seeking information and obtaining knowledge that supports needs in work, education and entertainment. Because the influence of technology reaches all aspects and influences the way today's users think and act, the impact of this change cannot be separated from the Church's anxiety about the development of the faith of its people. This article will explain the integrity of journalists which has developed in line with advances in digitalization. The author focused his presentation on using a Facebook account for catechesis.
