Abstract

This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of research on the application of biomimicry in water conservation to map its intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and global collaboration patterns. Data were retrieved from a selected scientific database and analyzed using bibliometric techniques, including co-occurrence analysis, co-authorship mapping, and density visualization. The findings reveal that biomimicry serves as a central interdisciplinary framework connecting materials science, environmental engineering, and sustainability studies. Keyword analysis identifies surface science concepts such as hydrophobicity, wettability, and contact angle as the foundational knowledge base, while applied themes including water filtration, membranes, and water treatment represent the primary technological focus. Overlay visualization indicates a temporal shift from fundamental physicochemical studies toward application-driven research in sustainable water management and biomimetic materials. Network analysis further demonstrates a highly collaborative global research structure dominated by leading countries such as the United States and China, alongside contributions from Europe and emerging economies, though with uneven participation levels.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of research on genomics in endangered species conservation to map its intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and global collaboration patterns. Data were analyzed using bibliometric visualization techniques to identify keyword co-occurrence, thematic clusters, density distributions, co-authorship networks, institutional affiliations, and country-level collaborations. The results show that genomics and endangered species constitute the central knowledge base of the field, strongly connected with genetics, population genetics, and conservation genomics. Thematic evolution indicates a shift from traditional molecular genetics and phylogenetic studies toward high-throughput genomic approaches, particularly population genomics and single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP)-based analyses. Collaboration network analysis reveals a globally distributed but centralized structure, dominated by major research hubs such as the United States and China, with strong supporting contributions from Europe and emerging participation from developing regions.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of research on microplastic pollution monitoring in water bodies to identify intellectual structure, collaboration patterns, and thematic evolution within the field. Data were retrieved from a scientific database and analyzed using bibliometric mapping techniques with VOSviewer, focusing on co-authorship, co-occurrence of keywords, co-citation, and country-level collaboration networks. The results reveal that research activity is highly concentrated around core themes such as microplastic occurrence, polymer identification, aquatic ecosystem contamination, and ecotoxicological impacts. Keyword analysis shows a strong emphasis on environmental monitoring, pollution pathways in freshwater and marine systems, and biological exposure through ingestion and toxicity. The co-authorship and institutional networks indicate the presence of several well-established but partially fragmented research groups, with limited cross-cluster integration. At the country level, China, the United States, and India emerge as dominant contributors and central hubs in global collaboration networks, while European and other regions form distinct secondary clusters. The study highlights a transition in the research landscape from descriptive monitoring toward more advanced analytical approaches, including risk assessment and standardized detection methodologies.

Abstract

The extensive use of conventional plastic materials in horticultural farming has contributed to increasing environmental pollution and agricultural waste accumulation. Sustainable alternatives such as agricultural bioplastics, combined with farmers’ environmental awareness, are considered important factors in reducing plastic waste generated from agricultural activities. This study aims to analyze the impact of agricultural bioplastic use and farmers’ environmental awareness on plastic waste reduction in horticultural centers in West Java. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method involving 200 horticultural farmers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires measured on a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS Version 25. The analytical techniques included descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing through t-tests and F-tests. The results indicate that agricultural bioplastic use has a positive and significant effect on plastic waste reduction. Farmers’ environmental awareness also demonstrates a positive and significant effect on plastic waste reduction. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence plastic waste reduction, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.428, indicating that 42.8% of the variation in plastic waste reduction is explained by the model. These findings suggest that the integration of environmentally friendly agricultural technologies and environmental awareness initiatives can effectively reduce plastic waste and support sustainable horticultural production. The study highlights the importance of promoting agricultural bioplastics and strengthening environmental education programs to improve environmental sustainability in agricultural communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green building technology implementation on energy consumption reduction and its impact on company performance in Jakarta. A quantitative research design was employed using data from 150 respondents who are involved in building operations, facility management, and sustainability-related functions. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results indicate that green building technology has a significant positive effect on energy consumption reduction. In addition, energy consumption reduction significantly improves company performance through cost efficiency and operational effectiveness. The findings also show that green building technology has a direct positive effect on company performance. Furthermore, energy consumption reduction partially mediates the relationship between green building technology and company performance. The study concludes that the adoption of green building technologies plays a strategic role in improving both environmental efficiency and organizational performance in urban corporate settings.
