Mathematical reasoning ability is very important for students to be able to solve various problems inside and outside the mathematical context. However, in class VIII SMPN 1 Danau Kembar students' mathematical reasoning ability is still low. One effort that can be done to improve students' mathematical reasoning ability is to apply the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The purpose of the study was to describe the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on students mathematical reasoning abilities better than students mathematical reasoning by using conventional learning in class VIII SMPN 1 Danau Kembar. The type of research is quasy-experiment and descriptive with a Randomized Control Group Only Design. The research instrument is a test of mathematical reasoning abilities. From the data analysis it was concluded that students' mathematical reasoning abilities that applied the PBL model were better than the students' mathematical reasoning abilities who applied conventional learning, and there was an increase in students' mathematical reasoning abilities while learning to apply the PBL model. Students make mistakes in solving math problems because the mastery of the students ' material is not good. To find out the learners ' mistakes need to be analyzed. Teachers have not conducted student error analysis. The research aims to describe the types of student mistakes in solving math problems. In this study are limited to quadrilateral and triangular material. The approach taken in this study is qualitative research with a type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques with observation, test and poll methods. Data analysis techniques are done by reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. The subject of this study is a student in class VII-5 SMP Negeri 18 Padang. Students ' mistakes are conceptual, procedural and technical mistakes. Based on these results, it is obtained that many students make mistakes such as conceptual, procedural, and technical, as well as learners do not understand the formula, do not understand the working step, and not skilled in calculations. Of the 3 types of mistakes the most accomplished mistake by learners is conceptual and procedural mistakes and few learners experience technical errors.Keywords: Error analysis, conceptual error, procedural errors, technical errors

Mathematical communication ability is one of the purpose in mathematics learning. Every students must have a good mathematical communication ability. But infact, mathematical communication ability of students at second grade SMPN 3 Pariaman is not optimal. It is caused by learning model that used has not facilitated students to develop their mathematical communication ability. One effort to overcome this problem is by applying Think Talk Write of Cooperative Learning in mathematics learning. This learning model helps students to develop their mathematical communication ability. The type of research is a quasi-experimental design with Static Group Design. The research hypothesis is carried out by using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that mathematical communication ability of students who learn with the cooperative learning model of Think Talk Write type are better than the mathematical communication ability of students who learn by direct learning. Mathematical communication skills are one of the goals of mathematics learning that must be achieved by students. But learning activities in schools have not been optimal in facilitating students to improve their mathematical communication skills. One effort to overcome these problems is to apply the cooperative learning model Think Talk Write type. The purpose of this study is to describe whether the mathematical communication skills of students who learn by using cooperative learning models Think Think Write type are better than mathematical communication skills of students who learn by direct learning and describe the development of mathematical communication skills of students during the implementation of cooperative learning models of Think Think type Talk Write. This type of research is quasi-experimental and descriptive research design with Randomized Control Group Only Design. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the mathematical communication skills of students who learn using the Cooperative learning model Think Talk Write type is better than the mathematical communication skills of students who learn by direct learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 18 Padang. Then, the development of students' mathematical communication skills during the cooperative learning model applied to Think Talk Write type has increased. Understanding mathematical concepts is one of the basic abilities that must be mastered by students so that the goals of mathematics learning can be achieved. In fact, in class VII SMPN 13 Padang showed the understanding_of mathematical_concepts is still low. An alternative that can be used as a solution to overcome this problem is by applying the Team Assisted Individualization type cooperative learning model. Understanding Mathematical Concepts of students in class VIII of SMPN 29 Padang is stillAlow. This cannbe seen at the time of observation and the low value of the test given to students which includes indicators of the ability to understand Mathematics Concepts. The solution to this problem is to apply the Pair Check cooperative learning model. The purposeeof this studyyis to find out and describe whether the ability to understand MathematicallConcepts of students whoolearn to use the cooperativeeelearning model Pair Check type issbetter than the ability UnderstandinggMathematical Concepts of students who learn to use direct learning models . This type of research is quasi-experimental and descriptive with a Randomized Control-Group Only Design study design. The study population was class VIII students of SMP 29 Padang in the academic year 2018/2019. The research sample was class VIII.7 as the experimental class and class VIII.4 as the control class. The instrument in this study is the test of the ability to understand Mathematics Concepts. The final test was analyzed using the t-test. Based on the final test analysis obtained P-value = 0.016 less than, meaning that Understanding Mathematics Concepts students who learn with the Pair Check type learning model are better than UnderstandinggMathematical Conceptsoof students who learn with direct learning models. The ability of Mathematical reasoning is one of seven mathematical learning objectives that must be achieved. However, the mathematical reasoning ability of students is still not optimal. One of the efforts to improve students' mathematical reasoning ability is to apply generative learning models, aimed at describing whether the mathematical reasoning abilities of students who learn with generative learning models are better than the Mathematical reasoning abilities of students who learn with conventional learning. This research is a combination of descriptive and quasy experiment research with Randomized Control-Group Only Design research design. Based on the results of data analysis by doing t-test, it shows that the mathematical reasoning ability of students who learn using generative learning models is better than the mathematical reasoning ability of students who learn to use conventional learning in class VIII of SMPN 1 Payakumbuh. Abilityyof mathematicall understanding concepts isi one of mathematics learning purpose. Observations which hadi been done iniclass VII SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP showed that mathematics llearning process was not able to improved students'imathematical understanding concepts optimally. Mathematical concept understanding is onenof the goals from mathematical learning that must owned by students. However, acording to result of the test that given in Junior High School 1 Lembah Gumanti showed the low students mathematical concept understanding. This could be improved by implement learning cycle 5E model. The purpose of this research is to know and to discribe the improvement of mathematical concept understanding of student who’s learning using learning cycle 5E model and to know and to discribe wether the mathematical concept understanding of students who’s learning with learning cycle 5E model is better than mathematical concept understanding of student who’s learning with direct instrution in class VII junior high school 1 Lembah Gumanti. This researchnis a combinationnof quasy experimen and deskriptiv research withnresearch design is The Nonequivalent Posttest-OnlycControl GroupnDesign. Based on the result of quizzes there are improvement of mathematical concept understanding of student who’s learning with learning cycle 5E model, and based on the result of hypothesis test, the mathematical concept understanding of student who’s learning with learning cycle 5E model are better than the mathematical concept understanding of student who’s learning with direct instuction.
