Abstract

Purpose – This study examines the influence of competence and work overload on the performance of sustainability assessors and analyses the mediating role of job satisfaction at PT SKP Tenaga Listrik. This study supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4, 7 and 8 through sustainable human resource management. Methodology/approach – This study employed a quantitative causal design, involving all 88 assessors through saturation sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Findings – Competence and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on assessors’ sustainable performance. Conversely, excessive workload has a negative and significant effect on assessors’ sustainable performance and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction also mediates the effects of competence and excessive workload on assessors’ sustainable performance. These findings suggest that assessors’ performance can be sustainably improved through competence development, a proportionate distribution of workload, and increased job satisfaction. Novelty/value – This study develops an integrated model of assessors’ sustainable performance in the electrical sector’s competence certification sector, positing job satisfaction as a mediating mechanism linking competence and excessive workload to performance. The study’s findings provide a practical basis for the formulation of policies on competence development, workload management and the improvement of assessors’ wellbeing

Abstract

The recent advances in knowledge, innovation and technology in the world beckons to a better world. Good Governance is the use of Information Technology to deliver public services in a more convenient citizen centric and cost effective manner. Good Governance relates to the quality of relationship between the government and the citizens whom it serves and protects. Good Governance consists of four imporatnt pillars viz accountability, transparency, predictability and participation. Citizens want excellence in governance of services delivered on time and at minimum costs. In the fast changing scenario, good governance has become not only necessary but also essential in a set up where people are the biggest stakeholder. In this direction, a number of initiatives have already been made for government officials, legislators and various other key players to come together to learn and explore and achieve the objectives of growth and development.

Abstract

In this Artificial Intelligence (AI) era, the economic growth and development of every nation is highly influenced by the innovation and entrepreneurship. So, this research paper is about the EoDB index which shows the change and progress in the environment of entrepreneurs. India’s decades long journey in EoDB index, correlation between economics scores and the Ease of Doing Business parameters, the role of indicators of Ease of Doing Business index, and the EoDB index ranking of India from 2009 to 2019. These all are discussed in this present paper.Key Words- Artificial Intelligence, Entrepreneurship, Environment, Parameter, Indicator
