Jurnal Maps (Manajemen Perbankan Syariah) is a scholarly journal published by the Islamic Banking Study Program, Masoem University Bandung. This journal is a forum for publication of scientific works in the form of writings by academics, researchers and practitioners on pure and applied research in the fields of Management, Islamic Banking, Islamic Accounting and Islamic Economics. Maps are published twice a year, namely in March and September. This journal has been accredited by SINTA 5. In 2021, Jurnal Maps (Manajemen Perbankan Syariah) will be merged and recorded in the Masoem University journal. In addition, the DOI prefix of STIBANKS Al Masoem, which was originally 10.32483, became 10.32627 and then the DOI is affiliation was changed to become Masoem University. The journal at STIBANKS Al Masoem has changed its form to a journal at Masoem University.

Abstract

Sharia compliance is the adherence of Islamic banks to Islamic rules or laws in muamalah and is one of the factors that differentiate it from conventional banks. Therefore sharia compliance is a fundamental principle in Islamic banking practices. Muamalah law, especially the economy, has a high degree of difference, so the sharia compliance standards in Indonesia refer to the Fatwa of the National Sharia Council-Indonesian Ulama Council (DSN-MUI). This study aims to analyze the practice of sharia compliance in Islamic Rural Banks (BPRS) in Indonesia. The data analyzed is the assessment of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) on the practice of BPRS for five years. The sample distribution covers all regions of Indonesia with 24 units of analysi with 46 respondenss. The data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis and compared it with the DSN-MUI fatwa. This study's results indicate that the level of compliance with Islamic rural banks in Indonesia is, on average, excellent. Other findings show that, when viewed from the contract's practice, financing with a musyarakah contract has the highest level of sharia compliance compared to separate agreements. Meanwhile, the lowest sharia compliance is in the murabahah contract. This condition is influenced because Islamic banks often use the murabahah bil wakalah contract. The weakness of this contract lies in the procurement of goods by customers, often not accompanied by proof of purchase.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to understand and explore the management of internal communication conducted by the Telkom Health Foundation (Yakes Telkom) in the city of Bandung. This research is a qualitative research where data collection is obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The technique of selecting informants uses purposive techniques. The data analysis technique used is the interaction model of Miles and Huberman. The study was located at the Takes Telkom Head Office, Jl Cisanggarung no. 2 Bandung.The results of the management analysis of internal communication at Yakes Telkom are (1) The process of management and management of the system in Foundation is done by planning, organizing, moving, directing, coordinating, and supervising. The process is to achieve the goal, namely to minimize miss communication and strengthen the communication relationship between one employee and another; (2) Development of internal communication systems in foundations concerning lack of human resources due to age; (3) Improving the quality of internal communication within the foundation by means of the Foundation to foster social relations with joint picnics and community service; (4) The implementation of business communication for the foundation's internal public is seen from verbal and non-verbal communication, communication patterns that are applied in two directions, selection of channels and communication media verbally and in writing, as well as the completion of the coffee morning and interpersonal humanist and psychological approaches to effective strategies when a problem occurs.

Abstract

The Chairperson as the highest leader in STKOM Al Ma’soem plays an important role in building a quality culture. The quality culture is built through the establishment and implementation of a quality assurance system that is based on the National Higher Education Standards (SN-Dikti) and the Standards Beyond SN-Dikti. This study aims to answer how to build a quality culture of higher education through transformational leadership using SWOT analysis. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, using SWOT analysis. School-based management applications carried out by a private education leader to improve the quality of education and realize the welfare of school citizens can be done by developing innovations in the aspects of entrepreneurship and providing education based on national education standards.

Abstract

Community Economic Empowerment is the obligation of all components of the nation including the participation of Religious Scholars and the role of the Government Apparatus (Regional Government) concerning formulation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation by prioritizing the principles of democracy involving the role of equal distribution, justice prosperity and the diversity potential of the community.This research was conducted in Jangkurang Village, Leles District, Garut Regency with the aim of (1) To find out the influence of Religious Scholars Participation on Community Economic Empowerment. (2) The Influence of the Role of the Regional Government on Community Economic Empowerment. (3) The Influence of Religious Scholars Participation and the Role of Regional Governments on Community Economic Empowerment simultaneously. The practical use of the results of this study is expected to be an input for both the government and the community on the position and value of the strategy of the of religious scholars position and regional goverment apparatus in the midst of society.  This research is the explanatory research (explanatory research) of sampling conduction is carried out by a simple random sampling technique model. Collecting data is done by distributing questionnaires to respondents 60 people consisting of businessmen in the village of Jangkurang, Leles distric, Garut from the total population of businessmen in as much as 150 people.The results of this stuy showed that (1) the influence of religious scholars participation gave a positive influence on economic empowerment of Muslim communities in Jangkurang village, Leles district, Garut. (2) The influence of the role of the regional government gave a positive influence on the economic empowerment of Muslim communities in Jangkurang village, Leles district, Garut. And (3) The influence of religious scholars participation and roles of the regional Government gave a positive influence on the economic empowerment of the Muslim community in Jangkurang village, Leles district, Garut.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a fundamental problem in all organizations, namely the events that occur in the field of organizational dynamics which, according to the initial hypothesis, there are problems regarding polarization and optimization of the ability to empower Human Resources, especially in terms of motivation. The task of the organization is how to manage human resources in order to carry out the tasks as expected to achieve organizational goals. Then the organization must be able to build and improve employee performance. This can be accomplished in several ways. In this case the researchers tested the effect of motivation on employee performance at the Ujung Berung Bandung Syariah Instisabi Cooperative. The purpose of this research is to find out how much influence the motivation has on employee performance at the Ujung Berung Bandung Syariah Instisabi Cooperative. This journal is expected to be useful for Instisabi Sharia Cooperatives in order to improve employee performance and as input or reference for further research.The research method used in this study is to use an associative quantitative method. The research data was obtained from primary data by distributing questionnaires and then processed using SPSS 23 applications. Researchers also obtained data from the theory of experts. This theory is used to strengthen analysis.The results showed that the motivation variable showed a significant effect on employee performance. The predictive ability of these variables on the level of employee performance in this study amounted to 0.202 or 20.2% while the remaining 79.8% was influenced by other factors not included in the study.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know and to analyze about the effect of Continuous Improvement on the performance of employees at PT. Rentang Buana Niagamakmur (PT.RBN) Tasikmalaya. Research method which applied in this research is survey research method, while data collecting technique is done by through questionaire. Sampling technique applies sample is accidental sampling technique and the size sample is 55 respondents. Data analysis techniques used in the study is simple regression technique, analysis of the coefficient of determination  and t test. The results showed that the Continuous Improvement  including both criteria, including employee performance criteria, as well as Continuous Improvement  has a positive influence on employee performance of 76,4% in PT . Rentang Buana Niagamakmur (PT.RBN) Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the BSM Griya Financing at Bank Syariah Mandiri KCP Rancaekek the influence of Marketing Mix on Customer Loyalty. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The research data was obtained from the premiere data by distributing questionnaires to BSM Bank Syariah Mandiri Griya Financing customers Kanca Rancaekek and then processed with SPSS 23.The results showed that there was no significant effect between the Marketing Mix on the Loyalty of BSM Griya Financing Customers in Bank Syariah Mandiri Kanca Rancaekek. This can be seen from the correlation coefficient of 0.212 with a significance of 0.064. Which means that between the variable Marketing Mix to Customer Loyalty is weak and insignificant.While the coefficient of determination of 4.5% means that the marketing mix only contributes a weak influence on the loyalty of BSM Griya financing customers by 4.5% and theremaining 95.5% is influenced by other factors not examined such as service quality.This research reveals that customers expect more attractive promotional activities. Customers also expect increased handling of complaints that arise and of course with appropriate solutions.

Abstract

This research is conducted in order to assess the effect of competency, motivation, and communication on employee’s performance (case studies at Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang West Bandung Regency) partially and simultaneously. There are many factors that affect the employee’s performance, but this research is only limited to the factors of competency, motivation, and communication. The researcher used primary and secondary data. The research approach used is quantitative approach which the samples are 55 civil servants which is assessed by 5 Heads of Fields and 2 Heads Sub-Division. Before analyzing, all research validity and reliability instruments are examined. After the data are valid and reliable then analyzed by using classical assumption test, partial test (t test), and simultaneous test (F test) helping by IBM SPSS version 23 software. The result of analysis showed that competency, motivation, and communication variables are affected positively significantly and partially to the employee’s performance. Competency, motivation, and communication variables simultaneously affected positively and significantly about 54,3% and the rest is about 45,7% affected by other variable that is not observed in this research.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the emergency of bank that resulted in competition, Sharia bank must implement a good marketing strategy if it wants to survive and competitive. So that Mandiri Sharia Bank by providing quality service and promotion in inancing product is expected to increase the number of customers thus provide greater profits for the bank. In fect the number of customersfinacing in Mandiri Sharia Bank KCP Antapani Bandung during the last year from 2012 to 2014 amounted to only 111 customer financing. Whereas for 3 years is targeted to reach 360 customers. Thus the fact that only 30.83 % are achieved by Mandiri Sharia Bank KCP Antapani Bandung of the targeted amount.This phenomenon that makes the rationale for this study that assumes there is a correlation between quality of service and promotion to the purchasing dicision. By the research hypothesis quality service (X1) and promotion (X2)) significantly influence the customer’s decision (Y) to be debtors in Mandiri Sharia Bank KCP Antapani Bandung for the targeted amount. The theory used in this study is the marketing management of services quality, promotion and purchasing decision. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence of quality service (X1) and promotion (X2)) significantly influence the customer’s decision (Y) to be debtors in Mandiri Sharia Bank KCP Antapani Bandung.This research included in explanatory research and included in quantitative research with survey method. The sampling is using random sampling techniques. From 111 customer financing in Mandiri Sharia Bank KCP Antapani Bandung (population) 87 customers have chosen as respondets (sample). Then to know the influence of qua;ity service and promotion to customer’s decision by testing the hypothesis by doing comparison between t table with t count (t and F test). And to determine the effect of each influence X1 and X2)  to Y then performed multiple linear regression analysis calculation using the program tools IBM SPSS 22,0.The conclusions based on research rsults can be known thar service quality has significant influences to the customer’s decision amounted to 45.0% and promotion signifanct influence to the customer’s decision amounted to 17.6%. then simultaneously, the quality of service and promotion has significant influence to the cutomer’s decision amounted to 62.6%. while the remaining 37.4% is influenced by other variables that not examined.

Abstract

This study meant to analyze the influence of brand image and perceived quality on repurchase intention of senior high school students at Al Ma’soem Jatinangor to AMIK Al Ma'soem Jatinangor. The results of this study indicate; the brand image has a significant influence on the repurchase intention of SMA Al Ma’soem students to AMIK Al Ma'soem Jatinangor. While for the perception of quality there are some influences but rather weak and not significant enough to further influence the repurchase intention SMA Al Ma’soem students to AMIK Al Ma'soem Jatinangor. The F test results explained that the brand image and the perceived quality simultaneously affect the repurchase intention of Al Ma’soem senior high school student. The obtained R-square value amounted to 0.271 or 27.1%, it means that the simultaneous brand image and perceived quality contribute to the repurchase intention of Al Ma’soem  senior high school students to AMIK Al Ma'soem Jatinangor which amounted of 27.1%.
