Abstract

Limited access to market information and inadequate business analysis skills remain major challenges faced by fish farmers in managing aquaculture enterprises effectively. This community service program aimed to enhance the capacity of fish farmers through training on the use of AQUARA (Aquaculture Market Information and Business Analysis System), a web- and mobile-based application. The program was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries and Marine Affairs of Indramayu Regency through training sessions, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation using questionnaires. The training materials covered market information features, business data recording, and aquaculture business analysis. The results showed that participants were able to understand and operate the application effectively. Based on the evaluation results, 92% of participants stated that the training materials were easy to understand, 90% considered the application easy to use, 94% reported that the application features met their business needs, 96% experienced improved understanding, and 91% expressed interest in using the application continuously. The program successfully improved participants' digital literacy and their ability to utilize technology to support aquaculture business management. The integration of market information and business analysis features within the AQUARA application provides added value by supporting more effective and data-driven decision-making. Therefore, AQUARA has the potential to serve as a supporting tool for digital transformation in the aquaculture sector.

Abstract

Digital transformation has encouraged community-based organizations to strengthen their capabilities in managing and utilizing data for evidence-based decision-making. However, digital literacy related to data processing and visualization remains limited in many socio-religious organizations. This community service program aimed to enhance the digital literacy and data analytics competencies of youth and mosque members at Jakarta Islamic Centre (JIC) through hands-on training using Looker Studio. The program was implemented through four stages: preparation, training delivery, case-based practical sessions, and evaluation. Twenty participants were involved in interactive lectures, guided practice, and discussions using real organizational data. The evaluation results indicated a high level of participant satisfaction, with an overall mean score of 4.43 out of 5. The highest score was obtained for the perceived benefits of the program (4.64), followed by improvements in participants' skills (4.45) and willingness to participate in future training (4.55). The originality of this program lies in the implementation of an organization-based data analytics training model that integrates real organizational data, data processing, visualization, and interactive dashboard development using Looker Studio. The findings demonstrate that the proposed approach effectively improves participants' digital competencies while promoting a data-driven culture to support monitoring, evaluation, and organizational decision-making. This program can serve as a sustainable model for digital capacity building in community and faith-based organizations.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed education and professional practices. However, maximizing the benefits of AI requires adequate digital literacy to ensure its effective, ethical, and responsible use. This community engagement program aimed to improve Artificial Intelligence literacy for learning and productivity through a National Collaborative Webinar involving multiple higher education institutions. The webinar was conducted online via Zoom Meeting on May 23, 2026, involving 345 participants from universities, schools, and other institutions across eight provinces in Indonesia. The implementation consisted of planning, material development, webinar promotion, pre-test, interactive presentations, and hands-on practice using AI applications such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Mendeley AI, followed by a post-test and participant satisfaction evaluation. The results demonstrated that the webinar successfully reached participants from diverse professional and institutional backgrounds. The comparison between pre-test and post-test results indicated improvements in most evaluation indicators, particularly participants’ intention to continuously use AI in learning and daily work, which increased from 35.7% to 41.9%. Participants’ ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs also increased from 43.2% to 44.8%, while the perception that AI improves task efficiency increased from 46.4% to 47.0%. These findings indicate that a collaborative national webinar is an effective community engagement approach to enhancing AI literacy while encouraging the productive and responsible adoption of AI technologies in education and professional activities.

Abstract

Waste management remains one of the major challenges in urban areas such as Bekasi City, where the volume of household waste continues to increase while most residents still regard waste as having no economic value. In response, Yayasan Cahaya Insan Sejahtera organized a community education program themed "Dari Sampah Menjadi Cuan" (From Waste to Cash) at Gedung MD, Jalan Pulau Timor Raya, RW.09, Aren Jaya Village, East Bekasi, Bekasi City. The event drew participants not only from the surrounding neighborhood but also from several other sub-districts (kelurahan) within East Bekasi, and even from outside the East Bekasi area, reflecting the broad public interest in the topic. This community service activity involved a lecturer from the Informatics study program of Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya together with two practitioner speakers, Ir. H. Iman Kukuh Santoso (a practitioner in plastic waste management) and Rahman Hakim (a practitioner in organic waste management), delivering education on sorting organic and inorganic waste, converting plastic waste into ecobricks and craft materials, processing organic waste into compost and maggot cultivation, and introducing the role of information technology in supporting waste bank management, including digital recording of member registration, waste deposits, weighing, savings balances, and transaction reports. The activity used a participatory training method consisting of planning, direct education, and evaluation stages. The program is expected to encourage the community to view waste management as both an environmental responsibility and a source of additional household income, while opening opportunities for future development of a digital-based waste bank information system.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence literacy is increasingly relevant to Quranic education, especially for supporting recitation practice, memorization, and access to learning resources. This community service program aimed to strengthen the conceptual understanding and responsible use of artificial intelligence among students and educators at the Nurul Qurani Islamic Da'wah and Education Foundation in Bekasi City. The activity was conducted on 29 December 2025 through preliminary coordination, material preparation, an interactive presentation, demonstrations of Qaraa and ngaji.ai, guided discussion, and descriptive evaluation. Data were obtained from facilitator observations, oral questions and answers, participant responses during demonstrations, field notes, and activity documentation. The program introduced basic artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative artificial intelligence, speech recognition, potential applications in Quranic learning, and ethical issues. Qualitative findings indicate that participants were able to recognize the distinction between artificial intelligence as a supporting tool and the irreplaceable pedagogical and spiritual role of teachers. Participants also identified opportunities for immediate feedback, independent repetition, learning progress monitoring, and semantic information retrieval, while acknowledging limitations related to accuracy, privacy, bias, and unverified religious information. The originality of this program lies in contextualizing artificial intelligence literacy within Quranic education and combining technical demonstrations with ethical and religious verification principles. Future programs should add validated pre-test and post-test instruments, longer hands-on practice, and structured mentoring for educators.

Abstract

Global economic dynamics and the acceleration of digital transformation require youth organizations and local micro-businesses to adopt adaptive marketing communication strategies. Youth organizations in Karang Taruna (Youth Organization) hold a strategic position as a driving force for the community economy, but the sustainability of their businesses and organizational activities is often hampered by limited digital literacy, inconsistent content production, and the lack of a structured marketing strategy. This community service program aims to optimize the digital capacity of youth organizations in Kalibaru Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, through training in social media mastery and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology based on an output-driven approach. The methods applied include qualitative-descriptive situational analysis, conceptual education delivery, hands-on workshops on AI prompt development and visual design, mentoring for independent publications, and integrated qualitative evaluation. The results of the activity showed significant improvements in participants' conceptual understanding and practical skills. All groups successfully designed persuasive copywriting, created proportional visual designs, and uploaded digital promotional content in real time to social media platforms. The use of AI tools has been proven to significantly reduce production time and streamline workflows without requiring a large financial investment. This program demonstrates that accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence based on prompt engineering can strengthen the competitiveness, creativity, and economic independence of youth in densely populated urban areas.
