Abstract

In recent years, the Indonesian capital market has continued to increase and is dominated by generation Z and millennials, both sharia and conventional capital markets. In this modern era, investing has become a trend. Therefore, the author examines whether Islamic financial literacy, herding behavior, and religiosity can influence the interest of generation Z and millennials to invest in the Islamic capital market. This type of research is quantitative research and data was collected from a questionnaire survey using 200 respondents. The data analysis method used is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach using SmartPLS software. The results of this research are that herding behavior and religiosity have a significant effect on the investment interest of generation Z and millennials in the sharia capital market, while sharia financial literacy has no significant effect. The implication of this research is that these three factors are taken into consideration by potential investors and readers when making investment plans. This research can contribute to the development of the Islamic capital market by providing a better understanding of the perceptions and interests of generation Z and millennials towards the Islamic capital market.

Abstract

Sharia banking measures the success of a company's performance using one important indicator, namely profit, increasing profits indicate better performance of sharia banking. Therefore, the aim of this research is to analyze factors that can influence profits at Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia, including third party funds, mudharabah financing, and non-performance financing. This research uses a quantitative approach, with secondary data obtained from the Financial Services Authority. This research was carried out using the multiple linear regression analysis method which aims to determine the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Based on the research results, all independent variables, namely Third Party Funds, Mudharabah Financing, and Non-Performing Financing simultaneously have a significant influence on the dependent variable net profit. Based on the partial test, it shows that the Third Party Funds variable has a significant positive effect on net profit and Non-Performing Financing has a significant negative effect on net profit, while the Mudharabah Financing variable has no significant effect on net profit at Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia.

This study uses a quantitative approach with exploratory factor analysis method. The sampling method used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique with 105 samples obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents who met the research criteria online. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of Liquidity Risk, Credit Risk, Control of Corruption, Inflation, and Economic Growth on the stability of Islamic and Conventional banks in Indonesia. The population in this study consists of Islamic and Conventional banks registered with the OJK during the period 2008-2022. The sampling technique employed is purposive sampling, resulting in a total sample of 11 banking companies. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the financial statements of each bank. Bank stability is measured using the Z-score proxy. The study utilizes panel data regression with a Fixed Effect Model. The research findings indicate that Liquidity Risk, measured by the F/LDR ratio, has a negative impact on Shariah banks, while it does not affect conventional banks. Control of Corruption has a positive impact on the stability of both Shariah and conventional banks. Economic growth does not have a significant impact on either type of bank, whether Shariah or conventional. Inflation does not influence the stability of either Shariah or conventional banks.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic which ended in early 2023 affected many sectors throughout the world. Apart from the health sector, Islamic banking also experienced shocks. The problem to be studied in this research is the influence of murabahah, musyarakah and mudharabah financing on the profitability of BCA Syariah by including the role of Covid-19. The aim of this research is to obtain answers to whether these three types of financing partially affect BCA Syariah's profitability, whether the Covid-19 pandemic indirectly affects BCA Syariah's profitability or vice versa. Data analysis uses Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) because it also considers the role of Covid-19 in this research. Based on the output of this research, the conclusion is that murabahah does not affect BCA Syariah's profitability, unlike mudharabah and musyarakah financing which contribute to increasing BCA Syariah's profitability. The Covid-19 pandemic variable moderates the influence of murabahah and musyarakah financing. However, the pandemic does not affect mudharabah financing activities at BCA Syariah.
