Abstract

Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) in Palembang organizes various higher education programs, from diplomas to PhDs. In this study, we perform data analysis using linear regression methods and predictive modeling techniques. In this connection, a survey was conducted among UIGM Computer Science Engineering course students to collect the necessary data. Data generated from surveys is used to predict future student choices when choosing a course of study. According to the forecast results, 12 students choose Intelligent Computer and Vision (KCV) majors, and 84 students choose Software Engineering (RPL) majors. Due to data limitations, these predictions may not be completely accurate. However, more complete data can help improve prediction accuracy. Therefore, it is important to collect more complete and representative data to improve prediction accuracy. The more complete the data, the more accurate the forecast results, which can provide more precise guidance in decision-making about your area of ​​expertise. This study contributes to the application of linear regression and predictive modeling techniques in higher education and highlights the importance of comprehensive data collection to support better predictive outcomes.

Abstract

Financial assistance information system is a crucial data processing activity within the Aceh Department of Finance, aimed at obtaining well-directed and easily accessible information regarding financial assistance reports. This research focuses on the design of the Financial Assistance Information System within the Aceh Department of Finance, utilizing the CodeIgniter framework along with programming languages such as HTML, PHP, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and MySQL as the supporting database. The purpose of this study is to understand and design the Financial Assistance Information System within the Aceh Department of Finance using the CodeIgniter framework and programming languages like HTML, PHP, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and MySQL as the supporting database. Data collection for this report was obtained through two methods: literature review involving relevant library books and other scholarly works, and field study involving interviews and direct observations related to this research. The financial assistance information system is administered by a finance department administrative staff responsible for recording and inputting financial assistance report data. The research findings conclude that the Financial Assistance Information System at the Aceh Department of Finance adheres to procedures, employing the CodeIgniter framework and programming languages such as HTML, PHP, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and MySQL as the supporting database.

Abstract

Employee Information System is an essential data processing activity at PT. Waskita Karya, aims to increase the directness and accessibility of information about employees. This research focuses on analyzing problems related to employees and data management mechanisms at PT. Waskita Karya, by designing an Employee Data Collection Information System using the PHP and MySQL programming languages. The research objective involves an in-depth understanding of employee problems and data management at PT. Waskita Karya, with results in the form of developing applications supporting the Employee Information System using PHP and MySQL. Data collection methods were carried out through library studies involving literature from library books and other scientific works, and field studies using interviews and direct observation of research objects. The employee data collection process is carried out by an administrative staff member who is assisted by two administrative staff in the employee sector to record and input employee data. The research results show that the Employee Information System at PT. Waskita Karya has been implemented according to procedures using PHP and MySQL-based computer technology as a database. The research results show that the Employee Information System at PT. Waskita Karya Banda Aceh has succeeded in integrating appropriate operational procedures and utilizing computer-based technology with PHP and MySQL programming languages as the database backend.

Abstract

The Guest Reservation Information System is an important aspect of data management at SEI Hotel. The aim is to simplify and direct the acquisition of information related to guest reservation reports. In this research, the author discusses the design of a Guest Reservation Information System at SEI Hotel using the CodeIgniter framework. Programming is carried out using HTML, PHP, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and MySQL as database support. This research aims to design a Guest Reservation Information System at SEI Hotel using the CodeIgniter framework and using the programming languages HTML, PHP, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and MySQL as database support. Data collection was carried out through two methods, namely library studies which included library book literature and related scientific works, as well as field studies by conducting interviews and direct observation of research objects. The guest reservation process at SEI Hotel is carried out by an administrative staff in the financial sector, who is tasked with recording and inputting guest reservation report data. The research results show that the Guest Reservation Information System at SEI Hotel has followed procedures using the CodeIgniter framework and the programming languages HTML, PHP, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and MySQL as database support

Abstract

This research aims to design a web-based information system for selling ornamental plants at JA Garden. This system consists of input, output, process, control, labor, and cost design stages. Each stage is detailed with the programs involved, including data entry programs for categories, products, buyer information, purchase transactions, sliders, brands, blogs, users, and messages. System output includes category recaps, products, customers, transaction reports, transaction details, goods transactions, brands list, sliders, blogs/news, and users. The sales data processing process adopts computerized applications with context, tiered and data flow diagrams. User control involves registration in the database to prevent redundant data. Application control includes user management and data security with encryption. Minimal labor required, with training for application use. The proposed costs cover system maintenance and development. The use of various web programming languages and supporting software such as XAMPP, NotePad++, and the Google Chrome browser supports the functions of this system. Suggestions involve optimizing computer use, improving human resource skills, and utilizing all software. This research is expected to provide guidance for the development and implementation of an ornamental plant sales information system at JA Garden.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Android-based agenda application with push notification and reminder features to support activity management in the Civil Law and State Administration Sector of the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office. Currently, management of the activity agenda is still done manually, causing frequent forgetting regarding the schedule that will or is currently taking place. Through an application development approach, this research creates an effective solution in the form of an agenda application that provides notifications on mobile devices when there is a new agenda or schedule in progress. This application is based on Android, uses the Java programming language, XML as the user interface, and integrates Firebase technology, such as Firebase Notification, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Firebase Realtime Database. It is hoped that the results of this research will make it easier for employees and prosecutors to access and manage information regarding activity schedules, as well as provide automatic reminders. By implementing this application, it is hoped that the performance of the South Jakarta District Prosecutor's Office can be more efficient in carrying out its duties and functions, while the publication of this system can be an effective means of conveying information to all employees.

Abstract

SMA Pesat Bogor, a private high school in Bogor, attracts a lot of interest from prospective students. Even though it already has a website that provides information about various school activities and the online registration process for new students, the current registration system is considered complicated. Prospective students and their parents must navigate through various menus to access the registration form. In addition, the registration form currently used still uses Google Form, causing potential errors in data management because data can only be exported in .csv format. To overcome these problems, this research aims to design a mobile application-based new student registration application. This application will be developed using the PHP programming language, using the React Native framework, and using MySQL as a database to store registration information and user data. The limitations of this research include the use of mobile applications only for the registration process and checking registration results by parents of prospective students at SMA Pesat Bogor. The main objective of this research is to build a new mobile application-based student registration system for SMA Pesat Bogor. With the implementation of this application, it is hoped that it will make it easier for parents of prospective students in carrying out the registration process for SMA Pesat and simplify the tasks of officers responsible for registration activities by providing efficient data recording

Abstract

The development of information technology has substantially changed the industrial landscape, including production data management. PT. ANTAM Tbk., as a mining and metallurgical company, realizes the significance of using technology to optimize operations and make data-based decisions. This research aims to design a production database visualization application by applying the aggregation method via the web-based Looker Studio and Google Sheets platforms. The aggregation method is applied to combine production data spread across various sources into more concise and easily accessible information. Looker Studio was chosen as a tool for designing interactive and informative data visualizations. Integration with Google Sheets provides flexibility in managing and storing production data. Case study at PT. ANTAM Tbk. used as a basis for applying this design concept in a practical context. This research uses a system development design approach to design and implement a production database visualization application. The analysis stage includes identifying user needs and production data characteristics. The design phase involved developing a data aggregation model and visualization interface using Looker Studio. Integration with Google Sheets was implemented at the development stage. The result of this research is a web application that allows users at PT. ANTAM Tbk. to access, analyze, and visualize production data effectively. This application provides information more quickly, accurately, and relevantly, supporting better decision-making based on data. The implications of this research include contributions to the development of information technology solutions that can increase operational efficiency and effectiveness in the mining and metallurgical industries

Abstract

Web-Based Student Grade Data Processing Information System is a system that provides online student activity report information, focusing on grade reports and student-related information. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Sa'adatuddarain, Jalan Mampang Raya No. 103, South Jakarta. The main problem faced by MA Sa'adatuddarain is the processing of student score data which is still done manually using Microsoft Excel. The results are then collected into the new curriculum section and submitted to the homeroom teacher in the form of sheets of paper. Therefore, an information system is needed that can manage data on student learning outcomes more effectively and efficiently. This research aims to develop a web-based information system application for processing data on student learning outcomes. The method applied in this research is Rapid Application Development (RAD) using the MySQL Database and implemented using Adobe Dreamweaver. The programming language used involves PHP (Pre-Hypertext Processor), CSS (Cascading Style Sheet), and Web. The result of this research is "Processing Student Grades at MA Sa'adatuddarain", an application equipped with various features for Class Teachers and Students, presenting information including grades and student attendance at MA Sa'adatuddarain.

Abstract

Temporary waste management in the city of Kupang is an urgent problem to ensure a clean and healthy environment. Selecting the right location for a temporary waste bin is an important step in efficient waste management. In this context, Decision Support Systems (DSS) can provide valuable assistance in the decision-making process. This research proposes a Decision Support System for Selection of Temporary Waste Bins using the TOPSIS Method. The TOPSIS method (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) is an effective method for overcoming multi-criteria decision-making problems. This system will integrate various factors such as distance to settlements, population density, accessibility, and other environmental factors to evaluate and select optimal temporary waste bins. This decision support system will provide stakeholders, including city governments, waste management authorities, and the community, with tools that can be used to make more informed decisions in determining the location of temporary waste bins. The results of the Decision Support System analysis will provide recommendations based on the level of preference for the specified criteria, enabling stakeholders to make more informed and sustainable decisions in city waste management. It is hoped that this research can help improve efficiency in temporary waste management in Kupang City and has the potential to become a model for other cities that face similar challenges in waste management.
