Abstract

Background. The management of the tourism supply chain that exists today, when viewed from the reality on the ground, has occurred but is done traditionally, or in other words, it is not managed correctly, so the ultimate goal of supply chain management is not achieved. Aim. The author has formulated a Sustainable Tourism Framework Model based on FGDs and surveys of tourism supply chain actors. Methods. The authors used this study's research methodology: 1. Determine the title and research objectives; 2. Create an overview of the research in an abstract narrative, 3. Conduct a Literature Review on several topics related to the keywords in the abstract; 4. Research stages should be made in which the methodology is determined in detail beforehand; 5. Conduct FGD to discover the Decision Making System Model in implementing TSCM.6. Make SEM Model Design Forms.7. Entering data into the AMOS application. 8. Re-test the results of the AMOS application to optimal results. 9. Optimal Reconstruction of the SEM Model Design. 10. Arranging questions to be carried out in Survey, 10. Collecting survey data. 11. Enter data from survey results. 12. Report on survey results based on SEM model tests through the AMOS application.Result. However, the Framework Model has not yet been accurately validated. After being validated through the SEM-AMOS application, the proposed Framework Model was changed to the Sustainable Tourism Supply Chain Management Framework Model.Conclusion. Developing the STSCM application design in Indonesia should significantly improve the tourism sector's economy. For this reason, we recommend that this be followed up on the STSCM Application Development in Indonesia.Implementation. This research will be beneficial for the Indonesian government, entrepreneurs in the tourism sector, and the tourism industry in general, especially in the tourism sector

It serves as a fundamental basis for the sustainability of the tourism ecosystem, encompassing the potential for the development of the tourism industry. Methods. The methods employed utilize a qualitative descriptive approach to acquire a comprehensive understanding of individual experiences in tourism development about the potential of tourist attractions to implement the "Patju radja" idea. This task involves the collection of both secondary and primary data. Secondary data comprising papers on tourist development plans and initiatives enacted by the West Lombok Regency Government Result. The study results indicate that the notion of "Patju radja" in tourism development can be implemented through a community approach. Abstract

Background. Thailand, with its rich natural resources, traditional healing therapies, and high-quality healthcare services, has become an attractive destination for Chinese senior tourists. Aim. This study integrates the Health Belief Model (HBM) and Push-Pull Theory to examine the key determinants influencing older Chinese adults' intention to engage in wellness tourism in Thailand. Methods. A quantitative approach was adopted, utilizing a structured questionnaire covering perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, push factors, pull factors, and wellness tourism intention. Data were collected through stratified random sampling across eastern, central, and western regions of China, using both online (WeChat, Wenjuanxing) and offline (senior activity centers, community health centers) methods. 462 valid responses were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM).Result. The results indicate that perceived benefits positively influence wellness tourism intention, while perceived barriers significantly reduce it. Both push and pull factors enhance wellness tourism intention, with their interaction exerting an even more substantial effect. However, contrary to HBM’s conventional assumptions, perceived susceptibility and perceived severity negatively impact wellness tourism intention, suggesting that heightened health concerns may deter older adults from traveling. Conclusion. This study extends the application of HBM and refines the Push-Pull Theory in the wellness tourism context. Practically, it offers insights for policymakers and industry stakeholders to develop targeted wellness tourism services. Furthermore, this study lays a theoretical foundation for future research by offering an integrative model that captures both health-related perceptions and tourism motivations.Implementation. The findings deepen the understanding of how health perceptions and travel motivations interact to influence senior tourists’ wellness tourism decisions.

Abstract

Background. With the proliferation of short video platforms such as Douyin, digital media has become a powerful tool for destination marketing, particularly among younger generations. Aims This study investigates the impact of short video attributes—perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived price, and emotional experience—on young people's attitude toward travel and their intention to visit Sichuan, a culturally rich and economically significant tourist destination in China. Methods. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected via an online questionnaire distributed through social media platforms. A total of 417 valid responses were obtained using stratified random sampling targeting Chinese Douyin users aged 18–35. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed to test the hypothesized relationships and mediating effects. Result. The results show that perceived ease of use, usefulness, and emotional experience significantly affect both travel attitude and intention, with travel attitude serving as a key mediator. However, perceived price was not a significant direct predictor of intention. Conclusion. These findings offer theoretical contributions to digital tourism research and practical insights for enhancing destination promotion strategies through short video platforms. Implication. Tourism authorities in Sichuan and similar destinations should consider integrating interactive short video strategies with localized cultural elements, optimize pricing information presentation, and engage users through storytelling formats that elicit positive emotions

Abstract

Background. Garut Regency has more than 20 villages that have been developed into tourist villages with various concepts, such as tourism-based tourism villages, nature tourism, and agrotourism. This uniqueness gives villages in Garut great potential to be developed into tourism villages based on local culture and traditions. The development of tourist villages in Garut is expected to introduce tourists to natural and cultural wealth and become the driving force of the village community's economy through the tourism sector. Aims. This study aims to analyze the application of Collaborative Governance in developing tourist villages in Garut Regency. Methods. This study uses a qualitative approach to analyze multi-stakeholder collaboration in the development of tourism villages in Garut Regency using the Collaborative Governance framework. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and participatory observations to understand the dynamics and challenges of collaboration between governments, business actors, and communities. Result. The data results were analyzed thematically and content-wise to explore themes related to communication, coordination, and obstacles in collaboration that support the development of tourism villages. The study's results show that although there has been progress in implementing Collaborative Governance, there are still challenges in terms of coordination between actors and fulfilling the community's capacity to play an active role. Conclusion. This study suggests the need to strengthen community participation, increase human resource capacity, and establish a more structured collaboration mechanism to support the sustainable development of tourism villages in Garut Regency. Implementation. These findings are expected to provide insight for policymakers in formulating more effective collaboration-based tourism village development strategies.
