Abstract

ABSTRACT   Patients’ satisfaction is the objective of health service improvement. Satisfaction will drive them to loyally obey every treatment given and vice versa. The purpose of the research was to find out the correlation between satisfaction of antenatal care’s patients and delivery’s motivation on Kediri Baptist hospital The research was designed by correlation. The population was all of antenatal care’s patients on Kediri Baptist Hospital. The number of sample was 60 respondents and taken using Random Sampling. The independent variable was satisfaction of antenatal care’s patients while the dependent variable was delivery’s motivation. The data were analyzed using Spearman Rho with significant level α≤0.05. The result showed 50 respondents (83.3%) felt very satisfied and having high motivation (93.3%) to deliver on Kediri Baptist hospital. The result of statistical testing showed p=0.022. Therefore, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted meaning that there was correlation between satisfaction of antenatal care’s patients and delivery’s motivation on Kediri Baptist hospital In conclusion, there was correlation between satisfaction of antenatal care’s patients and delivery’s motivation on Kediri Baptist hospital   Keywords: satisfaction, motivationn, antenatal care’s patients

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Less nutrition in under five years children was manifested of less weight and growth with under red line influence brain development, it is very close relationship to mental development and thinking capability. Because of sufficient nutrient will create human resources who have health, cleverness, activeness and productivity. Less nutrition in this age effects in disorder that can delay further development. Giving recovered supplementary food correctly, in purpose, to add intake nutrient in under five years children with under red line besides giving daily food, so that the growth will not be in under red line any more. The objective was to prove if there was influence of giving recovered supplementary food toward the growth of under five years children with under red line in Puskesmas Kota Wilayah Selatan Kediri. Design used in this research was one-group pre-post test design. The sample was 18 respondents using total sampling technique. The variable was the growth of under five years children with under red line were measured by portable balances scale (dacin) with significant range in 0,1 kg. The data was collected and then analyzed using Wilcoxon signed ranks with level of significance of α

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Hypertension is a result of blood circulation problem. If a patient does not get proper treatment her/his condition will be worse. Therefore the number of morbidity and mortality will progressively increase and health problem in society will be hard improved. The objective of this research was to analyze the influence deep breathing relaxation therapy toward the change of blood pressure on hypertension’s patient at Puskesmas Kota Wilayah Selatan Kota Kediri. The design of this research was quasy experiment non equivalent control group design. Population was the hypertension’s patient at Puskesmas Kota Wilayah Selatan Kota Kediri. The samples were 44 respondents based on inclusion and exclusion criterion on purposive sampling. The independent variable was deep breathing relaxation therapy and the dependent variable was blood pressure. The data was collected using mercurial sphygmomanometer. It was analyzed using paired sample t test and independent samples t test with significant level α < 0.05. The result showed that systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of control group did not significantly change (p systolic=0,665 and p diastolic=0.825), while the blood pressure of experiment group significantly decrease (p systolic=0.000) and p diastolic=0.000). It was proved by the difference between experiment group and control group (p systolic=0.000) and p diastolic=0.000). Practicing deep breathing relaxation therapy for 15 minutes can decrease systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure. The different mean of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure decrease were 9.00 mmHg and 10.00 mmHg. The different mean of systolic blood pressure decrease on experiment group was 50 times than the result in control group, while the different mean of diastolic blood pressure experiment group was 111.11 times than the result in control group. The conclusion there was significant influence of deep breathing relaxation therapy toward the change of blood pressure.   Keywords: blood pressure, hypertension, deep breathing relaxation therapy

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Hypertension or high blood pressure is a condition which systolic blood pressure is higher than140 mmHg and diastolic is higher 90 mmHg. Patient with hypertension, who does not get good treatment, would suffer kinds of complicated diseases such as coronary heart disease, heart failure, CVA, renal failure, retinopathy. Hypertension can be controlled by changing life style especially diet and physical activity as well as medicine (oral and infection). The objective of this research is to analyze correlation between diet obedience and complicated incident to patient with hypertension in wards Kediri Baptist hospital.             The design of this research was analytic correlation research that explains a relation, predict, test based on existed theory. The populations were patients with hypertension in wards Kediri Baptist Hospital that met criteria inclusion. The samples were 26 respondents using simple random sampling. The independent variable was diet obedience to patient with hypertension and the dependent variable was complication incident to patient with hypertension. Data was analyzed statistically using “Mann-Whitney test” with significant level α ≤ 0.05. The result showed that respondent had high diet obedience, there were 10 respondents (38%) and more than 50% respondent had no complication, there were 17 respondents (65%). Statistical analysis of Mann- Whitney showed p=0.000. It could be concluded that there was correlation between negative diet obedience and complication incident to patient with hypertension. It is necessary to develop about other factors that influence the obedience in running low salt diet, maintaining of body weight and avoiding obesity, smoke, and alcohol to patient with hypertension.   keywords: Obedience, complication, hypertension.
