Abstract

Praktek Kerja Lapangan merupakan bagian penting dari kurikulum S1 Teknik Elektro Universitas Mataram, memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk belajar langsung tentang dunia kerja. PKL memungkinkan mahasiswa mengamati praktik perusahaan, peraturan dan standar kerja, mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi tantangan di lapangan sesuai dengan bidang ilmu atau spesialisasinya. Berfokus pada PLN sebagai penyedia energi listrik, artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya sistem keselamatan, pemeliharaan, dan pengujian komponen dalam menjaga kualitas distribusi listrik. PT PLN memiliki pedoman pemeliharaan berdasarkan KEPDIR 0520.K/DIR/2014 yang mencakup lima klasifikasi pemeliharaan. Artikel ini menjelaskan studi kasus pemeliharaan pengukuran shutdown pada Gardu Induk 150 kV Kuta, dengan menggunakan Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) untuk mengevaluasi komponen peralatan primer. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa setelah pemeliharaan, kondisi peralatan utama normal dan siap dioperasikan kembali, menegaskan pentingnya pemeliharaan yang tepat dalam menjaga keandalan sistem. Gardu Induk sudah baik dan siap dioperasikan kembali.

Abstract

The public's need to get high-speed internet services that can be accessed anywhere is a current need. One of the internet network services that is often accessed by the public is video streaming. The emergence of cellular providers with various advantages, each of which is a challenge in choosing a reliable provider. To find out which telecommunications provider/organizer is good for use in an area, especially in the city of Mataram, throughput values were measured using the Wireshark application. The main goal is to find out the throughput value which is a comparison of the download and upload sides. The morning measurement results using provider A had an average value of 484.76 kbps, in the afternoon it was 493.97 kbps and in the evening 401.65 kbps. Meanwhile, measurements using provider B have an average value of 1187.13 kbps in the morning, 1280.04 kbps in the afternoon and 844.46 kbps in the evening. From the calculation results obtained, it was concluded that provider B was better than provider A.

Abstract

The Mataram Tourism Vocational High School still uses a manual system to process data internships for student, teacher, and Prakerin information. An information system is an essential instrumentation to monitor internship implementation. To overcome this problem, a Prakerin Information System was designed and built in this study to help simplify the administrative process of student internships while monitoring its implementation. The Prakerin information system also provides information about Prakerin needed by students and an application form for Prakerin online. In this study, the author uses several methods of data collection, namely observation with data objects, namely at Mataram Tourism Vocational High School, interviews with communication approaches that relate directly to data sources, and literature studies by collecting data by looking for literature about the task to this end. The authors used Python and MySql programming languages, the Bootstrap Framework, and the Django Framework in this study.. The results of testing using the Black box method with 93% success and the method of Mean Opinion Score (MOS) with a score of 4.01. This research resulted in an information system of Mataram Tourism Vocational Industry Practices that helped the administrative process of engineering, such as registration of internships, student data input, school supervisor data, field supervisor data, industrial input, daily activities, and other related to the internship.

Abstract

Indonesia the average global horizontal irradiation value is 4,75 kWh/m2 per day. Because Indonesia is on the equator. This energy potential has great opportunities for application in off-grid and microgrid PV systems. Global solar atlas is a free web-based application developed to help policymakers, planners, and investors identify areas of solar radiation intensity for solar power generation virtually anywhere in the world. The coordinate points for irradiation measurements in the yard of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram using a Solar Power Meter (SPM) at coordinates -8.5880530, 116.0976210. The measurement position of an azimuth angle of 0 degrees and a solar panel tilt of 12 degrees is the optimum global irradiation of 1930.2 kWh/m2 per year. The potential for PLTS rooftops at the Faculty of Engineering, the total PV panels have the potential to be installed on the rooftop as many as 2,283 (300 Wp per PV panel), the total power of the PV panels is 684,900 Wp or 684.9 kWp. Based on the Global solar atlas, the total potential energy that can be generated by all PV panels in the North and South directions is 882.9 MWh/year

Abstract

Fingerprint sensor technology has been implemented in a security system for electric bicycles using Arduino IDE as the core of the system. The main components consist of a fingerprint sensor, relay, and buzzer. The fingerprint sensor is responsible for reading the enrolled fingerprint, while the relay serves as a switch to regulate the flow of electricity to the electric bicycle. This approach provides an innovative solution that enhances the security level of the electric bicycle by allowing users to only access the bicycle using an enrolled fingerprint. Thus, the system combines reliable security with user convenience. Based on this research, it was found that the security system using Arduino Uno ATMega328 microcontroller and fingerprint sensor works well, allowing only the registered owner to access the electric bicycle. This proves that the use of biometric technology such as fingerprint sensors can be an effective solution to improve the security of electric bicycles.

Abstract

Dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengurangi dampak lingkungan negatif, Indonesia telah mengambil langkah maju dalam menerapkan Energi Baru dan Terbarukan (EBT) sebagai bagian dari matriks energi nasional, salah satu langkah tersebut adalah dengan melakukan co-firing biomassa pada pembangkit listrik tenaga uap (PLTU). Penerapan co-firing tersebut pasti akan berdampak secara langsung maupun tidak langsung pada peralatan boiler. Terdapat tiga pendekatan co-firing yaitu direct, indirect dan paralel, umumnya pendekatan yang sering digunakan adalah direct co-firing karena lebih ekonomis.Dari perbandingan yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa penerapan co-firing tidak mempengaruhi kinerja peralatan boiler, bahkan efisiensi PLTU semakin meningkat dani polutan yang dihasilkan oleh PLTU berkurang.

Abstract

Design of the seven segment and shift register experimental module. The aim of designing this tool is to make it easier for Electrical Engineering students at Mataram University to retrieve data during practicum. Previously, students needed a long time to collect data, 20-30 minutes, after the existence of this tool, students only needed 10-15 minutes to collec data. In the data seven-segment experiment, the output displayed a seven segment display, while in the shift register experiment the output is shown by an LED indicator, including several subs such as the right shift register, left shift register, and circular shift register. This design uses IC MC14495, 7476, 7432, 7404 and 7408 equipped with several other components... so that output results are obtained that match the input provided.

Abstract

The increasing demand for electric power, along with an economic growth estimated at about 7%-10% per year, means that electricity consumption in Indonesia will rise. As a country with a tropical climate, Indonesia has the potential for renewable energy in the form of solar energy with an average irradiation of 4.5 – 4.8 W/m2. Therefore, the development of solar power plants (PLTS) is highly necessary, leading to the issuance of Ministerial Regulation ESDM Number 26 of 2021, which contains regulations on the installation of rooftop PLTS. This study aims to obtain a 600 Wp capacity on-grid rooftop PLTS system in accordance with Permen ESDM Number 26 of 2021. It also seeks to determine the energy production (kWh/day) and the efficiency of the 600 Wp on-grid rooftop PLTS system. The results obtained from this study include achieving an on-grid rooftop PLTS system with a 600 Wp capacity, obtaining a total production in 1 day over 3 days of 2.3 kWh on day 1, 2.1 kWh on day 2, and 2.2 kWh on day 3. Additionally, the average system efficiency was found to be 9.06% on day 1, 9.12% on day 2, and 8.85% on day 3. These results are based on measurements taken in August, when, according to the solar cycle, the sun is north of the equator, whereas the installation point of the PLTS is in the southern hemisphere.

Abstract

PLN sebagai Perusahaan Listrik Negara berupaya memperoleh energi listrik seoptimal mungkin seiring dengan meningkatnya konsumen energi listrik. Untuk menjaga kualitas penyaluran energi dan mencegah kerusakan peralatan, diperlukan sistem pengamanan dan pemeliharaan instalasi gardu induk, termasuk trafo arus sebagai perangkat penting dalam mereduksi arus besar menjadi kecil untuk pengukuran, proteksi dan isolasi. Pentingnya perawatan rutin pada peralatan trafo arus di Gardu Induk Sengkol 150 kV. Melalui metode observasi langsung, studi literatur, wawancara, pengumpulan data, analisis data, dan penyusunan artikel. Perawatan Trafo Arus mempunyai standar pengujian berdasarkan KEPDIR 0520.K/DIR/2014 Manual Trafo Arus. Hasil perawatan pada pemeriksaan Current Transformer level 1, 2 dan 3 menunjukkan hasil yang baik dan sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Maka rekomendasinya adalah melakukan pemantauan rutin dan pengecekan ulang secara signifikan jika diperlukan untuk memperoleh hasil yang baik. Perawatan rutin trafo arus di Gardu Induk Sengkol 150 kV memenuhi standar dan handal untuk aplikasi proteksi dan pengukuran.

Abstract

Fokus pada PLN sebagai penyedia energi listrik, artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya pemerataan beban pada gardu, sehingga mengetahui perbandingan dari transformator sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pemerataan beban di area kerja ULP Ampenan. Artikel ini memaparkan pemerataan beban pada gardu distribusi GS024 dan MM096 PT PLN (Persero) UIW NTB dari yang semulanya keadaan arus beban tiap fasa tidak seimbang menjadi seimbang .
