Abstract

This article departs from the problem of how the youth da'wah movement is realized through new media, and how the representation of hijrah is depicted in the film Ketika Mas Gagah Pergi by Helvy Tiana Rosa. This study uses a qualitative approach with a content analysis method for films, as well as examines various supporting literature related to youth da'wah, new media, and Islamic popular culture in Indonesia. The analysis shows that the film Ketika Mas Gagah Pergi represents hijrah as a process of spiritual and social transformation of urban youth from hedonistic life to meaningful religiosity. Da'wah in this film is present through emotional and visual narratives that are close to the experiences of young people, not through normative lectures. In addition, the film Ketika Mas Gagah Pergi functions not only as a medium for da'wah, but also as a place for the representation of the identity and spirituality of young Muslims. However, the film also shows ambivalence in the representation of hijrah between substantive and symbolic transformations so that it demands critical reflection on the commodification of religion in the space of popular culture.

Abstract

This study examines the Islamic missionary movement of the Indonesian Chinese Islamic Association (PITI). This study aims to analyze how PITI integrates Islamic values ??with Chinese cultural identity, implements social programs that benefit the community, and fosters the community through education and spiritual guidance. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through literature studies. The results of the study indicate that PITI carries out cultural missionary work by integrating religious practices and ethnic identity, social missionary work through community service programs, economic empowerment, and assistance for Chinese converts, and fostering the community through religious studies, spiritual guidance, and skills training. The PITI missionary movement proves that an integrated missionary approach between social and spiritual aspects can improve welfare, strengthen social integration, and facilitate a comprehensive understanding of religion. These findings provide an important contribution to the study of missionary work in minority communities and models of inclusive socio-religious movements in Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the learning patterns, social interactions, and media behavior of students in madrasahs. This condition demands adaptive management of Islamic education through the integration of social dakwah management and ethical digital literacy. This study aims to conceptually examine the role of social dakwah management in strengthening ethical digital literacy to shape students' character in the digital era. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various credible and up-to-date academic sources, both books and journal articles relevant to Islamic education, dakwah, and digital literacy. The study results indicate that digital literacy from the perspective of Islamic education emphasizes not only technical mastery of technology but also ethical, critical, and spiritual aspects based on Islamic moral values. The success of implementing this strategy is greatly influenced by the role of educators as digital da'wah agents, the support of madrasa leadership, and parental involvement in monitoring and guiding the use of digital media. The sustainable formation of students' digital ethics relies on the synergy of these three elements.
