Abstract

This study aims to collect information about the steps of curriculum development based on Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) and Kurikulum Merdeka. On the other side, this study examines the similarities and compatibility between these two development approaches with the principles of Educational Technology and the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in 21st-century learning. The methodology used in this research is qualitative descriptive, which will present data in descriptive statements. Data were obtained from literature review of previous studies and government policies. The results of this study indicate the need for steps to accelerate the development of the Kurikulum Merdeka implemented in educational institutions where teachers can play a role as learning leaders capable of utilizing the Merdeka Mengajar Platform and prioritizing project based learning. Based on the literature review and research findings, it can be concluded that there is continuity between the KKNI curriculum and the Kurikulum Merdeka, and there are similarities and compatibility in accordance with the principles of Educational Technology. Therefore, in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, all of these are essentially oriented towards improving the competencies of students and all supporting systems that aim to achieve high- quality graduates.

This article delves into the depths of discourse analysis to uncover the nuanced layers of meaning and pragmatics embedded within Tere Liye's novel "Pulang Pergi". Employing a multidimensional approach, it examines the linguistic structures, contextual implications, and socio-cultural factors at play in the narrative. Through the lens of discourse analysis, the study elucidates how language functions beyond its literal interpretation, shedding light on the intricate interplay between language, society, and culture. Drawing from Tere Liye's distinctive style and narrative techniques, the article explores the thematic motifs, character dynamics, and rhetorical strategies employed in "Pulang Pergi". By dissecting the dialogues, narrative structures, and communicative acts within the novel, it uncovers the underlying ideologies, power dynamics, and social constructs that shape the characters' interactions and the overall narrative trajectory. Moreover, the analysis delves into the pragmatic aspects of language use, examining how speech acts, politeness strategies, and contextual cues contribute to the construction of meaning and interpretation within the text. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cultural content in English textbooksbcustomized for English language learning based on the Indonesia Merdeka curriculum which ideally includes a variety of Indonesian traditional and regional cultures in the textbooks. The book chosen is a book for grade 10 high school entitled English Language for SMA/MA/SMK/MAK Class 10B by Yuniarti Dwi Arini. The purpose of this study is to prove and review the ratio of cultural content in the tenth grade English interaction textbook.Through cultural content analysis, it is hoped that this research will be able to improve the quality of culture in other EFL textbooks in Indonesia. Research design for this study is quantitative method, specifically conceptual content analysis. The coding of was based on cultural categories and the exposure of cultural elements from the content in the textbook. The results of this study show that the percentage of cultural concepts in the analyzed objects is 76%, the percentage of practices is 17%, and the percentage of perspectives and people are 5% and 2% respectively. For the category of culture, there is a ratio of 55% in the target culture of the English speaking country, 24% in the source culture derived from Indonesian culture, and English-speaking country, 24% on the source culture derived from Indonesian culture, and 21% on the international target culture which is a culture that is international target culture which is a culture that is not the target culture. as well as source cultures and cultures that come from a nation that does not consider English as its first or second language.

Abstract

This journal investigates the critical roles that intercultural awareness and sociocultural development play in enhancing learners' second-language acquisition (SLA) proficiency. It explores the complex interactions between social, cultural, and environmental elements and language development and competency. The study examines how social interactions, community immersion, and cultural sensitivity substantially impact second language learners' acquisition of the language by drawing on previous research and theoretical frameworks. It also critically examines how intercultural competence affects learners' identities, promotes flexibility, and aids in effective communication within the framework of language learning. The journal also looks at instructional strategies that incorporate sociocultural and intercultural components into language instruction, with a focus on using real materials and cross-cultural interactions to improve students' language and cultural competency. This publication emphasizes the value of sociocultural and intercultural elements in maximizing the competency and overall development of students pursuing second language acquisition by examining these characteristics.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of non-physical work environment and quality of work life on employee performance at Community Health Center/Puskemas Banjarmasin Indah. The research method is quantitative using partial least square structural equation modelling analysis with data analysis using Smart PLS 3.0 software. The study involved 30 respondents is a Community Health Center employee. The type of variable scale used is the ordinal scale. The rating scale for each statement uses a rating scale technique with a likert scale type. Offline questionnaires are distributed, the data analysis stage is the outer model test, namely the validity and reliability test and the inner model test, namely the hypothesis test or significance test. The independent variable of this research is nonphysical work environment and quality of work life. The dependent variable is employee performance variable. Offline questionnaires based on the results of research data analysis it was found that nonphysical work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Quality of work life had a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
