Abstract

The development of the world of technology continues to change all the time by following the needs of complex human work. One example of an information system that continues to grow to assist the needs of sales transactions is the Point of Sale (PoS). Point of Sale serves not only to process sales transactions, but also to assist the business processes of a business. This PoS information system was built using the prototyping method. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and literature studies to analyze the needs of the PoS information system. The design of the POS information system uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to describe the processes that occur in the information system. The diagrams used are use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and sequence diagrams. Then also used Odoo to assist with system development. The programming language used is Python and XML, and on the database side, used Postgres SQL.

Abstract

Human activities are strongly dependent on the use of electricity, making it a daily requirement. The basic electricity rate is currently rising, making electricity conservation necessary. In order to solve this problem, a centralized power load monitoring and control system that can be handled remotely utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technologies is suggested in this study. The research project involves creating and putting into use a prototype system. An Intel Core i3 laptop, 4 GB of RAM, Windows 7 64-bit, the Arduino IDE program, and a Tools Set were the tools used in the study. A Microcontroller NodeMCU E12 WiFi, Relay Driver, LED indication, and PIR Sensor made up the components employed. The research method was broken down into eight stages, including a review of the literature, the formulation of a problem and an objective, the collecting of data, the design and use of media, the implementation of the results, the drawing of conclusions, and the preparation of a report. The functionality of each system component was tested, and the overall system performance was assessed, in order to examine the research findings. The results show that input, process, and output are the three essential components of the IoT application architecture for monitoring and regulating electrical loads in rooms. Four PIR sensors in the input area indicate the presence of people in the space.  A microcontroller integrated with the NodeMCU 12E WiFi device is used in the process step. LED indicator lights in the output portion show the amount of load present in the space. Hardware and software components make up the implementation of the IoT application for tracking and managing electrical loads in rooms. The NodeMCU 12E microcontroller and a PIR sensor make up the hardware component, while Cayenne, an IoT service, and the Arduino IDE serve as the software components. The IoT application has overall performed well and according to design in monitoring and regulating the room's electrical demands.

Abstract

PT. JAVFLO CIPTA MANDIRI is a company engaged in the Mechanical-Electrical field and has an office located in Bandung. Currently, the process of evaluating employee performance on Key Performance Indicators is still being done conventionally and using the rating scale method in calculating employee performance appraisals. A rating scale or measurement scale is a tool for collecting data in the form of lists containing characteristics or behaviors that must be recorded in stages to facilitate the selection of research data. Therefore we need a system that can solve these problems. The assessment method used is the Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS) to determine the value of employee performance and the application used is SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). The purpose of this data processing is to determine the value of employee performance with the Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale method with the SPSS application. The result of this study is the value of employee performance.

Abstract

Many facilities are designed automatically to help and facilitate human activities in managing the environment or room of the house in order to increase comfort, efficiency, and tighter security. And, if you want to avoid crime such as theft, robbery, and other criminal acts, as well as other calamities such as fire that can not be predicted by us. Based on these problems, of course it needs a control system that is able to help and facilitate human activities in managing and managing a house without having to do it manually or can be called an automatic home. Such as an automatic door lock tool, turn on the electric socket, turn on the lights automatically and the home security system and can also detect fires automatically. Which can be combined with mobile or smartphone technology. This information system development design uses the Object Oreinted approach and the Prototyping development method. Meanwhile, the application of the control system prototype uses an arduino uno microcontroller that uses the C programming language and App Inventor. From the results of testing this prototype is expected to help solve the problems faced by homes today.

Abstract

The library is used to find references and information. The problem faced is that some libraries do not yet have an online Web-based system to find sources of learning information. Technological developments are expected to provide benefits for library management. The background of this research is that libraries are expected to be able to take advantage of the technological developments in web-based systems to find sources of learning information. Technological developments are expected to provide benefits for library management. The background of this research is that libraries are expected to be able to take advantage of technological developments. By using the McCall method, the website, which is in the library and archives office in the city of Lubuk linggau, will assist the community in finding references and information optimally to meet their needs. The purpose of this study was to find out how the McCall Model was implemented and what percentage of people used the Infinite website for the library and archives service in the city of Lubuk linggau. Researchers used a quantitative approach with the McCall analysis version. Then this study uses two stages: the first is an instrument test technique in the form of a validity and reliability test, and the second is software quality. The McCall model technique is operational in software programs (product operations), with several quality factors, namely truth, reliability, usability, integrity, and efficiency. The results of this study are the measurement process using the MC call method involving 60 respondents, and the measurement results of this analysis obtain a total quality percentage. Corerecnes: 60.1% (good) Reliability: 50.1% (good enough) Usability is 60.1% (good), integrity is 99.6% (very good), and efficiency is 69.6% (good).

Abstract

To access resources and information, use the library. The issue is that some libraries do not yet have a web-based online system for locating learning resources. Due to their inability to recognize and see money, blind persons are more likely to swap, misappropriate, or even defraud money during buying and selling operations. Designing a "Prototype of Banknote Nominal Detector for Blind People" and creating a "Prototype of Information System Data Presentation of Banknote Detector for Blind People" are the main goals of this study. This system's design adheres to the agile software development process. The rupiah money can be identified by the prototype of the nominal banknote detector based on the nominal entered; the accuracy value is 93% for banknotes in neat conditions, 87% in wrinkled conditions, 71% in wet conditions, and 53% in faded color conditions. And the development of a data presentation system in the form of a dashboard can help admins in managing data from testing activities more easily, and so that data can be stored more systematically.

Abstract

Housing is an area or region that consists of several residential units or buildings with clear construction regulations and a uniform and synchronized form/pattern without any differentiation. At this time, there are still many housing property companies that promote their properties manually. One of the property companies that still promotes their marketing manually is The Housing Pesona Permata Hijau 2. Pesona Permata Hijau Housing 2 is one of the housing estates located near Jalan Raya Cibogo, Subang Regency In the process of marketing Housing Pesona Permata Hijau 2 is still done manually, namely by distributing brochures, placing banners, and promoting at major events. Technological advances are currently widely used by various industries, one of which is used as a property marketing medium such as housing. As a use of information technology that exists at this time, the right solution to overcome the above problems is to build a Housing Marketing Information System Pesona Permata Hijau 2 using the Waterfall method. The stages of the Waterfall method carried out in the development of this software consist of analysis, design, coding, and testing. With this system, it is hoped that it can facilitate the marketing process of the marketing division, and prospective buyers can easily get detailed information about the housing.

Abstract

This study aims to design a marketing website for special interest tourism destinations in North Banjar Resident. The method used is design thinking. The design thinking method has five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. At the empathize stage, the needs of system users are classified based on the characteristics of the user as a host or guest. In the define stage, the problem statement technique is used to define the problems and needs of users into four parts: lack of awareness and exposure, limited digital infrastructure, the limited availability of tourism-related infrastructure, and the lack of tourism-related data. At the ideation stage, the main problem identified related to the marketing of special interest tourist destinations is the lack of tourism-related data, so the idea to solve the problem is through the design of a website that accommodates all information about destinations and events, hotel accommodation services, resorts and cottages, vehicle rental services, and travel experiences to North Banjar which are shared in the form of articles to short videos. At the prototype stage, the database and interface design are designed according to the analysis results at the empathize, define, and ideate stages. Furthermore, at the testing stage, aspirations about prototypes are carried out through posters and short videos to gain insight into the subsequent development. Thus, marketing special interest tourist destinations becomes more effective and efficient using a website-based digital platform.

Abstract

Variational Autoencoder (VAE) and Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) are topics for developing generative algorithms for image creation, image reconstruction, and data augmentation.  These two models are solutions to models with limited data by generating data. Even though both models generate data, the way they work is different. The VAE model can produce image variations by relying on latent distributions. In contrast, GANs are models consisting of two main parts, namely a generator and a discriminator, which compete to produce increasingly realistic images. This research aims to analyze the comparison of two image-generative approaches by showing the trade-off between image realism and variation in the context of VAE and GAN. Experimental results show that GAN tends to produce more realistic and sharp images, but VAE has the advantage of producing variations in the distribution of the resulting images.

Abstract

This study proposes an automated essay scoring system utilizing Support Vector Machine (SVM) to predict successful candidates for the Youth Break the Boundaries Scholarship. The system aims to address the time-consuming and subjective nature of evaluating scholarship applicants' essays. A dataset comprising essays from previous applicants and corresponding human evaluation scores is utilized to train the SVM model. The model incorporates various textual features such as essay length, grammar, vocabulary, coherence, and argument structure. Performance evaluation is conducted through cross-validation techniques and compared against human assessment scores. The results demonstrate that the SVM-based automated essay scoring system achieves a high degree of accuracy in predicting scholarship applicants who meet the evaluation criteria. By leveraging machine learning techniques, this approach reduces the burden of manual evaluation, ensures consistent and objective scoring, and accelerates the selection process. Furthermore, the study identifies the most influential features in determining essay quality and applicant suitability. These insights can assist scholarship committees in refining their evaluation criteria and improving the selection process. The proposed automated essay scoring system enhances efficiency while maintaining fairness and objectivity in the scholarship evaluation process. It allows committees to evaluate a larger pool of applicants accurately and efficiently, providing deserving candidates with a fair opportunity to receive the Youth Break the Boundaries Scholarship.
