Abstract

Newborn are susceptible to illness and malnutrition, making proper infant feeding feeding practice crucial,, particularly the exclusive breastfeeding. According to the Precede-Proceed theory, health related behavior, including breastfeeding, are influenced by predisposing, reinforcing, and enabling factors. This study aimed to examine the relationship between these factors with the exclusive breastfeeding practice among mothers attending the Neglasari Public Health Center, Tangerang City. This study was conducted in July-October 2023 in the Neglasari Public Health Center area. A cross-sectional study design with accidental sampling technique was employed. Data was collected through interview on 105 breastfeeding mothers who had toddlers aged 7-24 months. The association between the breastfeeding practice and independent variables were assessed using chi-square test. Findings revealed that 35.2% of the respondents provided exclusive breastfeeding. Significant association were found between the exclusive breastfeeding practice and maternal knowledge (p-value = 0.008), occupation (p-value = 0.021), age (p-value = 0.044), and parity (p value = 0.004). These results suggest that educational and support interventions tailored to mothers’ age, employment status, knowledge level, and parity could enhance exclusive breastfeeding practices.   Keywords: Maternal age, Exclusive Breastfeeding, Knowledge, Occupation, Parity

Abstract

Anemia is a common health problem among adolescent girls and can lead to decreased productivity and academic performance. One in four teenage girls in Kembangan, West Jakarta suffers from anemia.. Health education through video platforms, such as YouTube, has the potential to be an effective method in improvingknowledge and attitudes related to anemia in adolescents. This study aims to analyze the effect of health education through YouTube videos on the knowledge and attitudes of adolescent girls at SMPN 207 West Jakarta. The research design used was quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test groups consisting of an experimental group (YouTube videos) and a control group (PowerPoint). The number of respondents was40 adolescent girls in each group, which were selected using simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Mann-Whitney and independent t-test. The results showed a significant increase in the knowledge and attitude of adolescent girls in the YouTube video group, with a p value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This shows that the use of YouTube videos is effective in improving adolescents' understanding and attitude towards anemia compared to conventional methods. In conclusion, education through YouTube video media can be used as an alternative health promotion method that is more interesting and effective in improving literacy.  Keywords: Anemia, Health Intervention, Intervention Media

Abstract

The Social Security Administrator for Health (BPJS Kesehatan) as the organizer of Indonesia’s national health insurance continues to innovate through digital technology to enhance service quality and expand membership coverage. One such innovation is the Mobile JKN application, designed to facilitate participant registration, data management, and access to health services at both primary and referral healthcare facilities. However, the utilization of Mobile JKN in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek) remains relatively low, with only 1,027,233 users recorded as of January 2, 2019. This study aimed to describe the extent of Mobile JKN utilization, public trust, and user satisfaction toward the application. A cross-sectional design was employed involving 644 respondents selected through quota sampling, with data analyzed using univariate methods. Results showed that among 644 respondents, 241 individuals (54.8%) reported using the Mobile JKN application. The most frequently used features were registration for healthcare facilities (24.9%), BPJS membership registration (21.7%), and access to information on nearby healthcare facilities (22.3%). Most users demonstrated high trust in the credibility and data security of the application and expressed satisfaction with various dimensions of information and system quality, including content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. Increasing Mobile JKN utilization requires intensive public outreach through social media and influencer engagement, developing a WhatsApp information channel,  and adding promotive and preventive health information features. Abstract

The main cause of work accidents due to falls from heights was unsafe behavior. In the Jakarta LRT Project, there were still unsafe behaviors performed by workers at heights such as not use complete PPE, not hooking FBH (Full Body Harness) to lifelines or scaffolding, not follow safety procedures, and smoke while working at heights. This research aimed to describe the unsafe behavior and determinants in the workers at heights in the Jakarta LRT Project Phase 1B Velodrome-Manggarai Zone 2 in 2025. This research used quantitative methods with a cross-sectional design and was conducted from January to May 2025. The sample was workers at heights using random sampling techniques and obtained 73 respondents. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The research results showed that 72 workers (98.6%) behaved unsafely with the highest percentage of unsafe behavior being 71% of workers had never reported work conditions and hazard and risk findings to supervisors. The description of determinants of unsafe behavior showed that most workers had poor knowledge, did not comply with safety procedures, had never received occupational health and safety training, had poor supervision, rarely received rewards, and rarely received punishment. HSE personnel need to educate workers about the dangers and safe working practices when working at heights and increase supervision to ensure compliance with safety procedures. Management needs to re-conduct training on working at heights and safe use of scaffolding for workers and increase the number of award recipients and strengthen the punishment for workers. Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a strategic initiative of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia that aims to improve the quality of the nation's Human Resources (HR) and support the realization of the 2045 Golden Generation through overcoming the complexity of the three burdens of nutritional problems. However, in its implementation, it faces a number of challenges, including reports of food safety incidents in beneficiaries. This literature review evaluates the program's impact, health risks, and alignment with public policy and nutritional standards. This study is a literature review using the keyword “MBG”, “Poisoning”, and “Halal Thayyib” through the Google Scholar, PubMed, and Scopus for the 2021–2025 period, 25 highly relevant scientific articles were analyzed. The results of this study were obtained as many as 25 scientific articles that are considered the most relevant in this study. The results of the study show that MBG has a positive impact on improving the nutritional status of students, increasing the level of concentration in the classroom, reducing student attendance rates in schools, empowering local catering MSMEs and absorbing the production of regional farmers. On the other hand, this study highlights the importance of strengthening the food safety monitoring system and program governance. This study recommends improving MBG policies through strict oversight of food safety standards, as well as improving transparent and accountable program governance.   Keywords:MBG, Poisoning, HalalThayyib

Abstract

Schools have various safety hazards due to their teaching and learning activities. These hazards can cause losses such as injuries, health problems, and damage to school property and the environment. This study aims to determine the effect of safety education on students' knowledge levels. A pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest was used for the research design. A total of 32 respondents, including student representatives, Junior Doctors, and Scouts from SD X in Mekarjaya, Kota Depok, West Java, participated in the study. The study was conducted in October 2024. Safety education was delivered through lectures, posters, and PowerPoint presentations. Knowledge improvement was measured by distributing questionnaires about safety hazards and risks at school before and after the educational program. The analysis was conducted using a t-test. The results showed that the average score was 50.84 before the educational program and increased to 89.22 after. These results indicate a significant improvement in knowledge of safety hazards at school (p-value = 0.000). It is recommended that SDN Mekarjaya 11 Depok's management conduct regular health and safety education activities involving all stakeholders, including parents and the local education office, to optimize the development of a safety culture at the school.   Keywords : Safety Hazard, Safety at School, Safety Promotion
