Abstract

Excessive romantic love often leads to emotional imbalance and conflicts with religious values, as in Islam, true love must be directed towards Allah and His Messenger. This study aims to analyze the Islamic counseling approach in addressing excessive love through an in-depth understanding of Qur’anic sverses. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a tafsir analysis from trusted sources such as Tafsir As-Sa’di and Mukhtashar, along with a qualitative narrative analysis of the Qur’an. The results of the study show that the Qur’an clearly instructs believers to prioritize love for Allah and His Messenger, and that excessive romantic love is merely a temporary worldly pleasure. Islamic counseling emphasizes the importance of balance in emotional life and promotes love for Allah as the primary solution to the problem of excessive love. In conclusion, the Islamic counseling approach based on the Qur’an is effective in providing solutions to the problem of excessive love by guiding individuals towards a balanced love that is oriented toward divine values.

Abstract

Students' learning interest must be continuously nurtured so that their learning interest will increase. However, along with the rapid advancement of technology, it can have a negative impact on students' learning interest. High learning interest can encourage students to devote attention, energy and time to learning activities, thereby improving the quality of the learning process and outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between self-efficacy and students' learning interest with gender as a moderator at MA Darussholihin NW Kalijaga. This study uses a quantitative approach using correlational and comparative methods. The measuring instruments in this study are aspects of learning interest according to Hurlock which are adapted from Pangestuti's research in 2012. and a self-efficacy scale compiled based on aspects of efficacy according to Bandura which are adapted from Hasin's research in 2018. The number of samples is 96 students. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The results of the study showed that the significance value of the learning interest variable and the self-efficacy variable was 0.00 <0.05, so the variables were said to be correlated. The correlation level between variables was 0.522, so the variables were said to be correlated. While the description of the level of learning interest of male and female students obtained a sig. value of 0.011> 0.05, so the average value of learning interest of male and female students was the same.

Abstract

Abstract Every individual has different levels of self-esteem, which can increase in both men and women, and at times can also decrease. Individuals with high self-esteem also tend to set high targets in everything and put in more effort to achieve the goals they want to reach. The purpose of this research is to elucidate and explain the relationship between self-esteem and the tendency to bully, with gender as a moderator. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The measurement tools in this study are the self-esteem scale developed based on the aspects proposed by Rosenberg and the Bullying scale developed based on the aspects proposed by Ken Rigby. The sample size was 90 students. The sampling was conducted using the purposive sampling method. The research results show that the significance value of the self-esteem variable and the bullying variable is 0.047<0.05, indicating that the variables are correlated. The correlation level between the variables is 0.210, which means the correlation between the variables is weak. The conclusion can be interpreted that the higher the self-esteem, the lower the tendency for bullying behavior. Conversely, the lower the self-esteem, the higher the tendency for bullying behavior. Abstract

Career decisions are a process in which a person selects from several options in planning their future, therefore students must have good emotional maturity. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and career decision-making. This research uses quantitative research with a correlational method. The measurement tool used in the emotional maturity scale was developed based on the aspects proposed by Walgito (2004) and the career decision scale proposed by Pearson. (2004). The sample size in this study consisted of 115 students from the NWDI Ajan vocational school. The data collection method used purposive sampling scale. The research results indicate a significant influence of emotional maturity on career decision-making among students, evidenced by a Pearson correlation value of 0.133 with a significance (2-tailed) of (0.200), meaning 0.200 > 0.05. These research findings show a significant positive correlation between emotional maturity and students' career planning. Keywords: Emotional Maturity, Career Decision Making, Gender
