Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan nanomaterial berbasis sumber daya lokal Indonesia, seperti limbah biomassa dan mineral ilmenit, guna mendukung teknologi berkelanjutan di bidang pemurnian air, energi terbarukan, dan pengolahan limbah industri. Metode sintesis yang digunakan meliputi sol-gel, hidrotermal, dan pirolisis terkontrol, dengan karakterisasi menggunakan SEM, TEM, XRD, dan spektroskopi UV-Vis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biochar dari ampas tebu dan cangkang kelapa sawit efektif dalam adsorpsi logam berat, sementara TiO₂ dan ZnO berbasis ilmenit memiliki aktivitas fotokatalitik tinggi dalam degradasi polutan organik. Nanofluid yang mengandung MWCNT dan PEG meningkatkan konduktivitas termal baja, sedangkan nanokomposit NiO-TiO₂-CuO menunjukkan potensi sebagai anoda baterai lithium-ion. Kesimpulannya, nanomaterial berbasis bahan lokal Indonesia menawarkan solusi efisien dan ramah lingkungan untuk berbagai aplikasi teknologi berkelanjutan, meskipun tantangan terkait infrastruktur dan pendanaan riset masih perlu diatasi. Kata Kunci: nanomaterial, biochar, nanofluid, teknologi berkelanjutan, MWCNT.
