Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Couple Cards media to improve collaboration skills in learning science in class II students of MIS Amir Al-Jannah Tippulue. The type of research used is quantitative research using the Pre-Experimental approach using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design conducted at MIS Amir Al-Jannah Tippulue in class II with a total sample of 21 students. Data collection techniques used observation sheets and questionnaires on student collaboration skills. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Then do an analysis to test the hypothesis using the SPSS version 22 application. The results of this study indicate that based on the Paired Sample T-Test it shows a t-count of 12,997 with a significance value of 0,000. Then the tcount value is compared with the ttable value at a significance level of 5%, the ttable is obtained from the t distribution list with probability (1-α) to obtain a ttable of 2,08596. This shows that the value of tcount is greater than ttable (12,997>2,08596). When compared with a significance value of 0,000 which is less than a significance of 0,05 (0,000<0,05), the hypothesis in this study is stated that H0 = rejected and H1 = accepted. Based on the results of the calculation of the N-Gain Score which shows the average value of students is 61,54%, it is included in the quite effective category. With a minimum N-Gain Score of 25,49% and a maximum of 100%. Thus the researcher stated that the Couple Cards media was effective enough to improve the collaboration skills of class II students of MIS Amir Al-Jannah Tippulue.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Effectiveness of Using Spinning Wheel Media in Improving Students' Critical Thinking Skills in Class IV Science Subject, MI Nurul Yaqin Lompo, Bone Regency. The type of this research is quantitative. The research design used in this study was a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population is all students of Class IV of MI Nurul Yaqin Lompo, Bone Regency. Researchers took a sample of class IV totaling 22 students. The sampling used in this research is saturated sampling. Data collection techniques using tests, documentation and observation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis.The results of this study indicate that the spinning wheel media is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills. This can be seen by the results of hypothesis testing with decision making. If the significance value (2-tailed) < 0.05 then H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. If the significance value (2-tailed) > 0.05 then H₀ is accepted and H₁ is rejected. From the data obtained, it shows a sig.2(tailed) value of .000 <0.05, so it can be said that H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of magic study box media in increasing students' conceptual understanding in learning science for class V at MIN 4 Bone. The method used in this research is quantitative research with the design used is the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In this study, the samples were all students of class V MIN 4 Bone, totaling 17 people. The instrument used in this study was a concept comprehension test in the form of an essay. Then data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical analysis through the Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS) Version 22 program. The data obtained by the study were analyzed using the SPSS Statistical Version 22 application, in order to be able to find out the results of the calculation of the pretest-posttest descriptive statistical values, hypothesis testing. This research was conducted in class V MIN 4 Bone with 17 students. The results of the study after using the treatment using the magic study box media, showed that the values obtained by students in class V MIN 4 Bone at the time of the posttest increased with an average of 77.35, as well as with the value of each indicator of student understanding of the concept experienced an increase and can be seen from the t-test on pretest and posttest scores, it can be seen that if the value (significance) 2-tailed is 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that the media magic study box is effective in increasing students' understanding of the concepts of class V in MIN 4 Bone, because the significance value obtained is 0.000.

Abstract

This study aims ti determine the effectiveness of the Fun Thinkers Book media in improving  the critical thinking skills of fifth grade study students  at MI Amir Al-Jannah Tippulue. The type of research used is quantitave research using the Pre-Experimenal approach using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design conducted at MI Amir Al-Jannah Tippulue in class V with a total sample of 19 students. Then the approach used in this research is a pedagogical approach. Data collection tehniques using tets, obervations and documents analysis. Then do an analysis to test the hypothesis using the SPSS version 22 application. The results of this study indicate that based on the Paired Sample T-test it shows that the tcount  is 12,466 with sig of 0,000. Then the tcount  value is compared a significance value at the 5% significance level, the price is obtained from the t distribution list with probability (1-a) so that a ttabel of 2,10092 is obtained. This shows that the value of tcount is greater than ttabel  (12,466>2,10092). When compared with a significance value of 0,000 which is less than a significance of 0.05 (0,000<0,05), the hypothensis in this study is stated that Ho= rejected and H1= accepted. Based on the results of the the calculation of the N-Gain Score which shows the averge value of students is 57.00 or 57%, it is included in the quite effective  category. With a minimum N-Gain Score of 30% and a maximum of 100%. Thus the researchers stated that the Fun Thinkers Book media was quite effective in improving the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at MI Amir Al-Jannah Tippulue.
