Abstract

Penelitian ini akan mengkaji fakta fakta dan masalah-masalah yang terjadi pada pelaksanaan pemilihan umum Presiden dan wakil Presiden serta pemilihan umum anggota legeslatif tahun 2014 untuk mengukuir tingkat pendidikan politik masyarakat maupun kesadaran politik masyarakat dengan parameter tingkat partisipasi (penggunaan hak pilih) mahasiswa sebagai masyarakat kampus sebagai golongan pemilih pemula dan golongan intelektual. Aspek penting yang menjadi dasar penelitian ini adalah adanya korelasi obyek penelitian dengan beberapa mata kuliah yang ada di program studi PPKn sehingga hasil penelitian ini bias menjadi referensi buku ajar untuk matakuliah di prodi PPKn. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif akan dapat diketemukan deskripsi yang luas dan mendalam mengenai perilaku, sikap mental, perasaan, keyakinan yang dianut oleh seseorang atau kelompok dalam lingkungannya. Sampel dan sumber data dipilih dengan mengutamakan perspektif emic,artinya mementingkan pandangan informan/responden, yakni bagaimana mereka memandang sesuatu dari pendiriannya. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah teknik analisa data kualitatif, mengikuti konsep yang diberikan oleh Miles and Huberman dan Spradley. Uji keabsahan data atau uji kredibilitas(validitas internal) data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui sejumlah pendekatan yaitu: (1)Dengan perpanjangan pengamatan, (2). Meningkatkan ketekunan, (3). Triangulasi, (4). Diskusi dengan teman sejawat, (5). Member check, dan (6). Analisa kasus negatif. Hasil penelitian pada (1) Tingkat Kehadiran dan Ketidakhadiran mahasiswa di TPS (Voter Turn-Out) dalam Pelaksanaan Pemilihan Umum (Pemilihan Presiden/Pilpres dan Pemilihan Legislatif/Pileg) Tahun 2014 pada mahasiswa di STKIP PGRI Nganjuk menunjukkan data 96% responden hadir, dan hanya 4% responden tidak hadir, (2) Faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kehadiran yaitu faktor popularitas calon/kandidat, faktor sosial politik, dan faktor sosial ekonomi.

Abstract

The objective of this particular research and development is to produce the supplementary materials to encourage the students’ academic writing for University students in second semester. Based on the preliminary study conducted by the researcher, it was discovered that most of the learner lacked motivation to create a simple paragraph in writing skill because the instructional document problems. To achieve the aim of this study, R&D proposed by Borg and Gall (1983: 771-789) as follows the need assessment and reference, developing material, product validation, implementation of the product and final product. The product designed with Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) method which has the challenging activities with relating, experiencing, applying, collaborating, and transferring. To collect the relevant information, the researcher used guided questionnaire for students, interviews for teachers, a checklist form and suggestions for expert validation. The results of the data analysis from expert validation indicated that there were some strong and weak points of the materials developed so that the weak ones needed to be revised. To know the applicability of material developed, it is needed to apply the product in the real field. The implication of this product was divided into three points namely, the students could achieve the writing skill around 87%, the students’ motivation also improve around 88% and around 88% of the student could give the feedback about writing problem. Finally, the researcher suggests the teachers and students to use this supplementary material in teaching writing activities for the second semester students of University to enhance students’ ability in writing.
