Abstract

The study of the role of the Arabic language in the liberation of the Palestinian people and Al-Aqsa Mosque is crucial for deeper exploration. This paper seeks to understand three aspects: First, it aims to explore how Arabic, as a mother tongue and religious language, influences the worldview and collective identity of the Palestinian people in their struggle. Second, it focuses on various forms of expression where Arabic is used to voice support for Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Third, it aims to analyze how Arabic is utilized in education and activism, impacting international understanding and awareness of the Palestinian struggle. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Data collection uses documentary techniques and is analyzed using Content Analysis. The findings reveal three key points: First, through the use of Arabic in education, media, and daily communication, Palestinians internalize their struggle’s narrative. Arabic functions not only as a communication tool but also as a symbol of identity that strengthens the collective determination for freedom. Second, cultural and communicative expressions using Arabic in supporting Palestine's liberation and the protection of Al-Aqsa Mosque are highly diverse, including poetry and literature, social media, sermons and lectures, songs, and music. Third, activism using Arabic to disseminate information through international media, seminars, and conferences plays a significant role in raising global awareness. By utilizing Arabic, activists can reach broader audiences and share stories and perspectives often overlooked by mainstream media. Additionally, collaboration with international organizations based in Arabic-speaking countries helps to spread information about the Palestinian struggle more effectively. Thus, the use of Arabic in education and activism contributes to enhancing global awareness and support for issues faced by the Palestinian people

Abstract

The grammatical construction known as Al-Idhafah (annexation/genitive construction) refers to a syntactic relationship between two nouns, where the second noun (the mudhaf ilayh) defines or restricts the first noun (the mudhaf). However, idafah is not merely a combination of two nouns; it often carries implicit prepositional meanings, such as possession (of), origin (from), or association (about), making it essential for accurate sentence interpretation. Misunderstanding this structure may lead to errors in speaking, reading, and writing. This study explores how idafah is used and what meanings it conveys in the classical Islamic text Safinatu al-Shalah ("The Ark of Prayer") authored by Imam Abdullah bin Umar bin Yahya al-Hadrami—a well-known text in basic Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). The research aims to answer the following questions: What are the words that include idafah constructions in Safinatu al-Shalah? And what are the semantic meanings conveyed by these constructions? To achieve this, the study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a library research approach. The primary data source is the book Safinatu al-Shalah, while secondary sources include grammatical references and linguistic studies. Data collection was conducted through careful reading and note-taking, and analysis was carried out descriptively. The results show that the text frequently employs idafah to convey meanings such as possession (who), origin (from), and aboutness (about). This highlights the significance of idafah as a crucial grammatical device in Arabic for precise meaning and clear communication, especially in religious and legal discourse.

Abstract

This study examines the theme of love in Al-Ghazali's poetry found in Ihya’ Ulum al-Din using Antonio Gramsci's theory of hegemony. The central issue addressed is how these poems represent love not merely as an emotional expression, but as a spiritual force that plays a role in shaping the collective consciousness of Islamic society. The aim of this research is to uncover how the concept of love in Al-Ghazali’s work contributes to the construction of hegemonic Islamic ideologies and values of his time. The study employs a qualitative method with textual and socio-cultural analysis, allowing for an in-depth exploration of the meanings and social functions of the poetry. The findings reveal that Al-Ghazali’s poems on love serve as ideological instruments that reinforce the hegemony of Islamic spiritual values while also offering criticism of deviant religious practices. The contribution of this research lies in its insights into the role of literature—particularly Sufi poetry—in the process of cultural and spiritual hegemony, and its relevance for understanding the concept of love within both religious and contemporary social contexts

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning has introduced significant changes in various fields, including the Arabic language education sector. This study focuses on exploring the challenges and applications of AI in Arabic language learning, particularly in the context of machine learning technologies. The primary problem addressed in this research is the difficulty in developing effective machine learning models that accurately understand and process the Arabic language, given its complexity, diverse dialects, and intricate grammar rules. The main objective of this research is to analyze the current applications of AI in Arabic language learning, assess the challenges associated with these technologies, and identify potential improvements. The study employs a qualitative approach, reviewing existing literature, case studies, and practical applications of AI in Arabic language education. The results indicate that AI technologies such as natural language processing, automated translation, and speech recognition have significantly contributed to enhancing Arabic language learning tools. However, the study also reveals challenges related to the complexity of Arabic grammar, regional dialects, and the lack of sufficient digital resources and standardized linguistic data. This research contributes to the field by providing insights into the integration of AI in Arabic language education, highlighting both the advancements and the obstacles that need to be overcome. The study suggests that with continued investment in AI technologies and collaboration between linguistic experts and tech developers, the future of Arabic language learning can be greatly enhanced, offering more efficient and personalized learning experiences for students

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on literary criticism, focusing on the potentials it offers and the challenges it faces in this field. With the advancement of AI technologies, it has become possible to analyze literary texts in innovative ways, opening unprecedented horizons for understanding literature. However, there is a need to evaluate how these technologies interact with traditional critical approaches and whether they can enrich or constrain literary criticism. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology, utilizing AI tools such as sentiment analysis, linguistic and literary pattern recognition, and natural language processing (NLP) to analyze a selected corpus of Arabic literary texts (poetry, novels, and prose). The results of AI-driven analysis are then compared with traditional critical readings of the same texts to assess the accuracy and effectiveness of AI. The findings reveal that AI holds significant potential in analyzing large volumes of text quickly and accurately, as well as identifying recurring literary patterns that may be difficult for humans to detect. However, the technology faces notable challenges, such as its limited ability to comprehend complex cultural and historical contexts, and its lack of the creative and interpretive depth characteristic of human criticism. The research concludes that AI can serve as a supportive tool for literary critics but cannot replace human creativity in criticism. It recommends developing AI tools that account for the cultural and linguistic specificities of Arabic literature and encouraging critics to integrate technology with traditional methods to enhance the critical process

Abstract

The Qur’an is the primary source of guidance and spiritual development in Islam, and its reflective contemplation is essential for shaping a believer’s character. Among its chapters, Sūrat al-Māʿūn stands out—despite its brevity—for its profound themes related to faith, ethics, and social behavior. The research problem arises from a noticeable neglect in giving adequate scholarly attention to shorter sūrahs, including al-Māʿūn, which are often underestimated due to their concise nature. This study aims to uncover the deeper moral, theological, and social meanings embedded in Sūrat al-Māʿūn, especially its warnings against hypocrisy and disbelief. The study employs a qualitative, analytical method, drawing from classical and contemporary Qur’anic exegesis to offer a thematic and structural analysis of the sūrah. It seeks to bridge traditional interpretations with modern analytical frameworks, making the message of the sūrah relevant to today’s ethical and spiritual challenges. The results highlight al-Māʿūn as a rich text that presents a clear critique of superficial religiosity and unethical social behavior. The contribution of this study lies in its effort to reawaken interest in the thematic depth of shorter Qur’anic chapters and demonstrate their critical role in spiritual education and moral reform
