Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning on qurban and aqiqah material using audio-visual media. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were junior high school students. The data for this study were obtained using test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that audio-visual media can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 48.71%, the first cycle 66.39% and in the second cycle it increased to 89.66%. Thus, the use of audio-visual media can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning, especially on qurban and aqiqah material.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning of Islamic Religious Education (Fiqh Lessons) through the method of giving learning assignments and registration. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Data from the study were calculated using simple statistics, namely: 1) To assess repetition or formative tests and 2) For learning completeness, there are two categories of learning completeness, namely individually and classically. The results of the study showed that 1) Problem-based learning has a positive impact on improving student learning achievement which is indicated by an increase in student learning completeness in each cycle, namely cycle I (68.18%), cycle II (77.27%), cycle III (86.36%); 2) The application of the method of giving learning assignments and recitations has a positive influence, namely it can increase student learning motivation as indicated by the results of interviews with some students, the average student answer stated that students were interested and interested in the methods of giving learning assignments and recitations so that they became motivated to learn.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning on the subject of humble attitude by using learning video media in class IV of SDN Kain Golong, Aceh Singkil. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 25 fourth grade students and an Islamic Religious Education subject teacher. The data for this study were obtained using test, observation, and interview techniques. The test was used to measure student learning outcomes before and after the application of learning video media, while observation was used to analyze teacher and student learning activities during the learning process. In addition, interviews were conducted to determine student and teacher responses to the use of video media in learning. The data analysis techniques used in this study were qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis, which included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the use of learning video media can improve students' understanding of the subject of humble attitude, increase learning motivation, and make the learning atmosphere more interesting and interactive. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the percentage of student completion reached 65%, while in cycle II it increased to 88%. In addition, observations show that student activity in the learning process also increased, marked by their involvement in discussions and active participation during learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of hadith card media in increasing students' learning motivation in memorizing hadith at MI Ma'arif Pucungbedug. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were high school students. Data from this study were obtained from a series of semi-structured interviews with the research subjects. The population of this study includes all individuals who have an important role in the learning process. The sample of the study consisted of one Al-Qur'an Hadith subject teacher and 10 fifth grade students selected based on the purposive sampling method. The results of the study showed that the use of hadith card media was proven effective in increasing students' learning motivation in memorizing hadith at MI Ma'arif Pucungbedug. In addition, card media has the potential to be applied to other appropriate subjects. The results of the study showed that hadith card media can improve student learning outcomes in learning the Qur'an and Hadith. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 58.71%, the first cycle 76.39% and in the second cycle increased to 93.66%. Thus, the use of hadith card media can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in learning the Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

This study aims to increase interest in reading and writing in B1 children at RAM NU 168 Al Istiqomah Gresik. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were class B children of RAM NU 168 Al Istiqomah Rejodadi Campurejo Panceng Gresik with a total of 19 children, 8 boys and 11 girls. The data of this study were obtained by being carried out through 2 cycles by observing the activeness and interest of children in reading and writing during the activity, an increase in interest in reading and writing is indicated by the achievement of an average indicator exceeding 75%. The results of the study showed that picture cards can increase children's interest in reading and writing, as evidenced by the average indicator increasing, reaching 85%. Thus, in order to increase children's interest in reading and writing, it is recommended that kindergarten teachers use picture cards and conduct further research to perfect this study.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activeness and learning outcomes of class II students of MI Yakti Ngadirejo in the subject of Akidah Akhlak by using the application of the mastery learning model. This study is a classroom action research consisting of three cycles. The subjects used in this study were 15 class II students of MI Yakti Ngadirejo. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The instruments used to collect data were in the form of observation sheets, field notes, and daily test assessment sheets (evaluation). The results of the study showed an increase in student activeness in learning and student learning outcomes in the form of an increase in daily test scores from students who were used as subjects in this study. This increase occurred after students were guided in learning with the mastery learning model approach (complete learning). This is also supported by the results before and after the action. Thus, it can be concluded that learning with the mastery learning model approach is able to improve the activeness and learning outcomes of class II students of MI Yakti Ngadirejo in the subject of Akidah Akhlak.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning activity of students on the material of emulating the role of Islamic scholars in Indonesia in class X of SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Kanan. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were high school students. The data for this study were obtained using a qualitative approach. The data analysis techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the use of the Card Sort method can improve the learning activity of students on the material of emulating the role of Islamic scholars in Indonesia in class X of SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Kanan. The results of observations in the field show that student learning activity has increased in each cycle. Overall, student learning activity from cycle I only reached 50% then increased in cycle II to 75% and then increased again in cycle III to 85%. Thus, the use of the card sort method to improve student learning activity on the material of emulating the role of Islamic scholars in Indonesia can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of learning achievement through the discovery learning model in learning Akidah Akhlak for Class IV students at MIS PUI 1 TALAGA. The method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research method. This method is carried out in four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The four stages are in one cycle that is carried out repeatedly with the same steps and remains focused on how to solve problems (answers) by finding it yourself, investigating it yourself and searching for information using the discovery learning model. This study is descriptive qualitative. In collecting data, observation and test methods are used. The observation method is used to measure the activities of teachers and students in each cycle. While the test method is used to determine student learning outcomes after participating in learning using the discovery learning model. The results of this study indicate that the use of the discovery learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Akidah Akhlak for Class IV students at MIS PUI 1 TALAGA, namely 57% in cycle I, 74% in cycle II, and 100% in cycle III. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained, it can be concluded that learning Akidah Akhlak using the discovery learning model for Class IV students at MIS PUI 1 TALAGA.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade IX students on the material of faith in the last day through the application of audio-visual media. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were junior high school students. The data for this study were obtained using a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The average class score increased from 65 in the pre-action to 72 in the first cycle and 80 in the second cycle. In addition, the percentage of students who achieved scores above the Minimum Completion Criteria increased from 30% in the pre-action to 55% in the first cycle and 85% in the second cycle. The results of observations and interviews showed that students were more active, motivated, and involved in discussions when audiovisual media were used. They found it easier to understand abstract concepts and showed an increase in critical thinking skills.
