Abstract

Every learning process has certain goals and targets. Learning outcomes are one of the targets whose achievements must be evaluated. This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through role playing models. This research is classroom action research. The model used is the Kemmis & Mctaggart model with four steps, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were elementary school students. Data was collected using observation and test techniques. The data obtained was then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and then compared with indicators of research success. The research results show that the role playing model can improve student learning outcomes. This is proven by the increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle, with details in the first cycle the percentage of completion reaching 60% and in the second cycle reaching 80%. This research was stopped in the second cycle because the research success indicators had been achieved. Based on the results of this research, the role playing model can be used as a reference model that can help improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, such as ChatGPT, in educational settings has become a topic of increasing interest in recent years. One of the main benefits of using ChatGPT in education is its potential to improve students' critical thinking skills. Critical thinking is the ability to analyze and evaluate complex situations or problems, identify patterns and relationships, and make decisions based on logical reasoning. These skills are important for success in both academic and professional settings. However, research shows that many students have difficulty thinking critically. ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI, is a large language model that can generate human-like text based on the input it receives. It can answer questions, generate essays, summarize texts, and even engage in conversations. Using ChatGPT in the world of education can provide several benefits that help students develop their critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aims to test the effectiveness of the Microsoft Excel application on students' understanding of statistics courses. This research is quantitative research and descriptive data analysis, aimed at measuring students' level of understanding of various statistical concepts. Because research data is in the form of numbers, while descriptive analysis is statistics which functions to provide an overview of the object being studied. In this research, researchers used a total sampling technique where the entire population was sampled. So a sample of 22 people was obtained. For data collection, researchers used an online questionnaire method using Google form, the data obtained was analyzed using descriptive analysis. Of the 25 participants, 22 students answered the questionnaire. Respondents' answers regarding question 1, How often do students use Microsoft Excel (P1), Students who said they used Microsoft Excel several times a week and students who said they used Microsoft Excel once a month had the same percentage, namely 31.8%. Then 9.1% said they rarely use Microsoft Excel. Several things that can be concluded from this research are that it is still found that some students do not understand how to use Microsoft Excel, so there is a need for training for students to introduce and train students in the Regular B Building Engineering Education Study Program more deeply in applying Microsoft Excel in solving problems and processing data. and make it easier to complete assignments in statistics courses.

Abstract

Electronic Module (E-Module) is a type of interactive multimedia teaching material presented electronically which contains images, text and videos arranged systematically which are useful for forming a more creative learning process. The learning process at State Islamic Senior High School of 3 North Aceh currently still uses the conventional model and teachers have never conducted learning using interactive learning media such as e-modules. This research aims to determine the feasibility and practicality of SETS-based e-module learning media products as media that make it easier for students to learn sound wave material for class XI at the State Islamic Senior High School of 3 North Aceh. This development research method refers to Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The research subjects were physics subject teachers at the State Islamic Senior High School of 3 North Aceh and students in class XI MIA 3 with a total of 16 students. The results obtained are: 1) The results of validation by the media obtained a percentage of 85.23% in the "Very Eligible" category, and the validation results from material experts obtained a percentage of 85.06% in the "Very Eligible" category. 2) The results of student responses (small scale) obtained a percentage of 89.08% in the "very practical" category. 3) The results of teacher responses obtained a percentage of 82.96% in the "Very Practical" category and the results of student responses (large scale) obtained a percentage of 86. 97% in the "Very Practical" category.
