Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Self Regulated Learning (SRL) and motivation to learn science (IPAS) among fifth-grade students at SD Inpres 6/75 Manurunge, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The population consisted of 57 fifth-grade students, all of whom were included as research samples. Data were collected using SRL and learning motivation questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with Spearman correlation test. The descriptive analysis results showed that the average SRL score was 89.49 and the average learning motivation score was 89.63, both categorized as high. Inferential analysis showed that rcount > rtable (0.620 > 0.261) at a 5% significance level. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between Self Regulated Learning (SRL) and motivation to learn science among fifth-grade students at SD Inpres 6/75 Manurunge.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (CAR) that aims to determine the application of the Blooket-assisted game-based learning model to improve the Indonesian language learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 166 Laburawung, Lalabata District, Soppeng Regency. The subjects in this study were all 25 fourth-grade students and the fourth-grade homeroom teacher. Data collection techniques used observation and tests. Data analysis techniques in this study included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the percentage of teacher activity in cycle I reached the Fair (C) category and in cycle II increased to the Good (B) category. The study shows that the Indonesian language learning outcomes of students in cycle I were 66,66% or 16 students obtained an average score of 70,20 with a sufficient (C) qualification and increased in cycle II by 83.33% or 20 students with an average score of 80.20 with a good (B) qualification. It can be concluded that the Blooket media-assisted Game-Based Learning model can improve Indonesian language learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is a development research (R&D) with the Alessi & Trollip model which consists of three stages: Planning, Design, and Development. The objectives of this research are (1) to determine the process of developing creative teaching materials using Google Sites in SBDP learning, (2) to determine the validity and practicality of creative teaching materials based on Google Sites, and (3) to determine students' responses to creative teaching materials. In this study, creative teaching materials based on Google Sites were produced for SBDP learning. The teaching materials were developed using the Alessi & Trollip model which consists of three stages: The first stage is the planning stage where researchers conduct needs analysis and content/material analysis as a basis for development. The second stage of the Alessi and Trollip development model is the design stage including flawchart and storyboard designs. Flawchart consists of a conceptual framework for creative teaching materials, while the storyboard includes all visual elements in Google Sites. In the third stage, namely development, which consists of Product Review by Experts and Product Trials. The Product Review process by Experts was carried out by a media expert validator (alpha test) and a material expert validator (beta test), the results of media validation showed a feasibility of 90.5% (very feasible), while material validation using the Gregory technique obtained 1.00 valid (very high validity). The trial conducted in this study was a small group trial. The small group trial involved fifth grade students, with student questionnaire results of 90% (very feasible) and teacher practicality sheet results (94%). In conclusion, creative teaching materials based on Google sites have been validated and declared very suitable by experts and received positive responses from students and teachers.

Abstract

This study is a quantitative research with a correlational design aimed to determine the relationship between the intensity of using the TikTok application and peer social interaction patterns among fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 10 Manurunge. The population of this study consisted of 28 students from the fifth grade. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire, and the data were analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis using SPSS version 23. Based on the descriptive analysis, the average score of TikTok usage intensity was 48.04 and the average score of peer social interaction was 48.79, both of which fall into the currently category. The results of inferential statistical analysis using Spearman’s rho test showed a significance value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05 with a correlation coefficient of 0.696. This indicates a strong positive relationship between the intensity of TikTok usage and peer social interaction patterns. Thus, the higher the intensity of TikTok usage, the higher the peer social interaction patterns of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 10 Manurunge.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research type of experimental research with a quasi-experimental design in the from of a Nonequivelent Control Group Design. The study aimed to determine whether there was a significant effect of the use of the Estafet Writing learning model on students’ short story writing skills in Indonesia language subjects for fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 22 Jeppe’e Tanete Riattang Barat, District Bone Regency. The variables in this study werw the Estafet Writing learning model as the independent variable and students’ short story writing skills as the dependent variable. The population in this study is all fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 22 Jeppe’e Tanete Riattang Barat District, probabilitBone Regency, totalling 30 students. This study uses a non-y sampling technique or saturated sample. The data collection technique used was a performance test in the from of short story writing. The data analysis techniques for this study are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statictical analysis. The result of study show that descriptively, the average posttest of the experimental class was 78.20, while the average posttest score of the control class was 57.07. Based on inferential analysis using the Independent Samples t-Test, the results indicated a significant difference in shory story writing skills between the experimental class (Class A) and the control class (Class b) in Indonesia language subjects at SD Negeri 22 Jeppe’e, Tanete Riattang Barat District, Bone Regency. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the Estafet Writing learning model had a significant effect on students’ short story writing skills in Indonesia language subjects for fourt-grade students of SD Negeri 22 Jeppe’e Tanete Riattang Barat District, Bone Regency. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental One Group Pre-test-Post-test yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media animasi Suku Kata terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II SD Inpres 12/79 Biru II Kabupaten Bone. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media animasi suku kata, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah kemampuan membaca permulaan. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 117 siswa dengan sampel 20 siswa yang ditentukan melalui purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tes membaca permulaan yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media animasi suku kata. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan membaca permulaan meningkat dari 64,50 (kategori cukup) pada pre-test menjadi 85,85 (kategori baik sekali) setelah post-test. Uji statistik menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 8,083. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media animasi suku kata berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II SD Inpres 12/79 Biru II Kabupaten Bone.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) that aims to determine the application of the Project Based Learning Model to improve the creativity of fifth grade students at SDN 166 Laburawung, Lalabata District, Soppeng Regency. The subjects of this study were all 15 fifth-grade students and their homeroom teacher. Data collection techniques included documentation, teacher and student observation, and student creativity performance tests. Data analysis techniques in this study included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the percentage of teacher activity in cycle I reached the category of Fair (C) and in cycle II increased to the category of Good (B). The study shows that student creativity in Fine Arts learning in cycle I was 60% or 9 students obtained an average score of 68.27 with a sufficient (C) qualification and increased in cycle II by 86.67% or 13 students with an average score of 83.33 with a good (B) qualification. It can be concluded that the Project-Based Learning model can improve student creativity in Fine Arts learning.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate students’ perceptions and understanding of Teaching English as an International Language (TEIL)-based teaching materials in an EFL context. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving 15 English Education students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang who had experienced the use of TEIL-oriented materials in their learning process. Data were collected through classroom observation and semi-structured interviews. The findings reveal that students generally perceived TEIL-based teaching materials positively in terms of relevance, clarity, and usefulness. The materials helped students develop a broader understanding of English as a global means of communication and increased their awareness of diverse English varieties. Furthermore, students reported that TEIL-based materials enhanced their confidence in using English for international communication and reduced anxiety related to native-speaker norms. This study suggests that integrating TEIL principles into English teaching materials can contribute to more inclusive and contextually relevant English language learning in EFL settings.

Abstract

This study employed a quantitative experimental approach using a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design to determine students’ mathematics learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the STAD-type cooperative learning model assisted by three-dimensional shape nets media. The population consisted of all fifth-grade students of SDN 6 Watampone, with a sample of 24 students selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using tests to measure students’ mathematics learning outcomes before and after the treatment, questionnaires to assess students’ responses toward the learning model, and observation sheets to evaluate the implementation of the learning process. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The descriptive analysis showed that the mean Pretest score was 55.55, while the mean Posttest score increased to 72.50. The average score of students’ responses was 86.95, indicating a very positive response, and the average implementation score was 92.59. The prerequisite tests showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The paired samples t-test revealed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between students’ mathematics learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the STAD-type cooperative learning model assisted by three-dimensional shape nets media. Therefore, the STAD-type cooperative learning model assisted by three-dimensional shape nets media is effective in improving fifth-grade students’ mathematics learning outcomes at SDN 6 Watampone.
