Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze PKS's strategy to build women's political participation in its da'wah activities. The crisis of democracy is rationally caused by the lack of formal participation of the community, especially women in national politics. PKS has not maximized in utilizing alternative forms of women's participation through social media to fulfill affirmative policies. The efforts made by PKS have not been maximized in utilizing the strong influence of the media effects of the 4.0 era to increase women's political participation. The theoretical reference used is the theory proposed by Aeron Davis "Citizens, media effect and public participation" (Aeron Davis, 2019: 109-129). The concept of women's political participation in political parties can be brought closer to the term Ummah. This word is repeated 64 times in the word of Allah S.W.T, which is found among others in the 3rd surah (Ali-Imran) verse 110 and the 2nd surah (al-Baqarah) verse 143 and the 3rd surah (Ali-Imran) verse 110. Khyar means the best option, found in QS. As-Shaad [38]: 47. 'Aqibah which means impact or effect which in the Qur'an is mentioned 31 times of which is found in QS. Al-A'raf [7]: 128. This research paradigm is a critical paradigm using da'wah communication approaches, political communication, political parties and women's political participation. The research method consists of a type of research, namely descriptive qualitative. From this research, it can be seen that PKS encourages women to actively participate in politics as a manifestation of healthy democracy. Political awareness is built by conducting cadres every week through Ta'lim. The media used by PKS to build women's political participation is predominantly carried out through direct communication and is still minimal in the use of social media.

Abstract

The Saudi Arabia-Iran reconciliation initiated by China has implications for the role of the United States (US) in the conflict. Saudi Arabia is beginning to see China as a rising power, while the U.S. is facing geopolitical shifts in the Middle East. The economic proximity between Saudi Arabia and China reduces Saudi Arabia's dependence on the US. The US should acknowledge the changing power dynamics and consider China's position in its policy regarding the Saudi Arabia-Iran conflict. This reconciliation requires the US to adapt to geopolitical power shifts and face new challenges in the region. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia began to focus on revamping priority aspects with the shift of oil energy as a mainstay to green energy with the implementation of Vision 2030.

Abstract

A country's economic policies lead to poverty, and the policies of other sectors, such as the economy, labor, education, and health, should help address poverty. Although poverty is influenced by many factors, it is not an independent factor. Fully recognized by our founders, our constitution, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (UUD 1945) included provisions on the National Economy and Social Welfare in Chapter XIV. The Indonesian Constitution has chosen an economic system that is in accordance with the basic norms of the Indonesian nation, namely the Pancasila economic system which is then called the humanistic economic system, especially in relation to poverty policy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Islamophobia is an important construct that needs to be analyzed when understanding negative attitudes towards Muslims. To fully understand Islamophobia, it is important to examine the broader construct of racism so as to demonstrate Islamophobia as a subtype of racism. Islamophobia is growing with the rapid flow of global information, and the mass media is the main instrument in the dissemination of such information, giving rise to similar perceptions and actions against Islam. The relationship between Islamophobia and mass media is considered very close, so it can expand anti-Islamic attitudes.

Abstract

In order to enhance the professional competence of aspiring counselors enrolled in the Islamic Counseling Guidance Study Program, this research sought to disclose the online counseling model used at State Islamic Religious Universities. Interviews with the management of UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar, UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau, and UIN Sheikh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan's Islamic Counseling Guidance study program were used to gather research data. The findings demonstrate that, theoretically, Islamic Counseling Guidance and Islamic Education Counseling Guidance courses have been used to execute online counseling. This has made it easier to adapt to how information technology has developed. In actuality, though, online therapy is only done through social media platforms like Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Video Call. The study's findings indicate that in order to enhance the professional competence of Islamic Counseling Guidance students as potential Islamic counselors, managers of the Islamic Counseling Guidance Study Program and Islamic Education Counseling Guidance must create applications that are simple to use, particularly for guidance and counseling services.
