Abstract

Not everything in this world will be according to human wishes. Sometimes sadness and happiness come and go. Only a human being who has patience can endure in the way of Allah swt. With patience, humans will get a very big reward on the side of AllahSWT. This research has a goal, namely to find out how the implementation of al-qur'anbased group guidance is to increase student patience. A qualitative approach with descriptive research methods was used by researchers in this study. Ten students of theIslamic Counseling Guidance Study Program were selected to be research subjects using a purposive sampling technique with a population of 30 people. Data were analyzed using data analysis techniques, namely qualitative descriptive techniques after collecting data using interview techniques, documentation and observation. The results of this study were (1) the implementation of al-Qur'an-based group guidance to increase student patience was carried out using five stages, namely the formation, transition, activity, conclusion, and closing stages, and (2) an increase occurred in student patience in where students have been able to hold themselves from despair, calm, do not complain easily, and assume that everything will return to Allah SWT.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' time management through classical services with game techniques for class VII B SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar. This research method uses classroom action research. The research proceduresconsisted of planning, action, observation and reflection which were carried out in 3 cycles. The population of this study were all 132 students of class VII SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar using the purposive random sampling technique. The subjects of this study were 28 students in class VIII B of SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar. This research data collection technique uses observation and questionnaires. While the data analysis in this study used descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in time management through optimizing classical guidance services. Improved time management can be seen from the results of observations during the action process in classical guidance activities, namely there are demands to manage study time, extracurricular activities, play time and other activities in the neighborhood. As supporting data to determine the increase in time management is through observations made by counseling teachers and subject teachers as a comparison. The result of the class is that there is an increase in the habit of asking in the learning process gradually from cycles 1, 2 and 3. In cycle 1 the frequency of asking is 40%, cycle II is 60% and in cycle III there is 80%. Thus by optimizing classical guidance services through game techniques can improve student time management.

Abstract

This study was based on the phenomenon of the presence of students who were so afraid to express their opinions and who copied task in the execution of independent tasks friend as one indication of the lack of independent learning. It was thought to have an influence on problem solving skills in students. The purposes of research were to describe the correlation between independent learning with problem solving skills. This research used quantitative research correlational techniques. The subjects were the students of Guidance and Counseling Education Faculty of Sriwijaya University with a sample of 105 students from the population of 145 students. The sample was selected by proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was Likert scale models with reability as big as 0.916 (independent learning), and 0.923 (problem solving skills). Data analyzed using descriptive statistics, product moment correlation.The study revealed that: (1) there was a significant correlation between academic self-concept and problem solving skills (r= 0,590), (2) there was a significant correlation between the independent learning and problem solving skills (r= 0,601), (3) there was a significant correlation between academic self-concept and independent learning with problem solving skills (R= 0,716). The research’s implications to guidance and counseling are used as a input to create a guidance and counseling service programs.

Abstract

Self-efficacy is very important for students in the process of making career decisions. Students who have high self-efficacy will be confident in their ability to make career choices for their future. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy andcareer decision making in class XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Prabumulih. This research is a quantitative study using the correlation method with a sample of 74 students from 297 populations taken using a proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument used a self-efficacy scale of 24 items and career decision making of 27 items in the form of a Likert scale obtained through the distribution of instruments. Data analysis in this study uses pearson product moment correlation. The results of data analysis show that class XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Prabumulih have self-efficacy and career decision making in the medium category with a correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.247 as rcount and rtable of 0.228 from 74 respondents with a significance level of 5% so that the hypothesis test is rcount > rtable then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making in class XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Prabumulih.
