Abstract

Optimasi Optimization of the auto temperature control system on the thermal oil heater system using PSO as a PID Controller tunning. Making a PSO-based Simulink tuning PID controller for thermal oil heater temperature in the 2013a Matlab program. Thermal oil heater simulation using PSO as a PID Controller tunning is the best result among other design methods. With kp = 2,057, ki = 1.337, kd = 0.148, we get an overshot value of = 0.002, undershot = 0, at a settling time of 4.521 seconds. This shows that the PID-PSO controller is the best method with the smallest overshot at 0.002, the smallest undershot at 0, and the fastest settling time at 4.521 seconds.

Abstract

The problem with University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya students in accessing the Internet is that the network strength is slow or unstable. This study aims to analyze this problem by collecting responses and expectations from students regarding network speed at the University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya. This is not only done to find out students' responses and expectations regarding internet stability at universities, but also to make it easier for campuses to provide solutions to this problem, one of which is to make this research a basis for proposing additional router installation at various dense points of internet network users. in universities, with the hope that the problem of slow Internet networks at the University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya can be overcome. The solution must meet specifications in order to run effectively and efficiently. The Black Box method is an intuitive/imagining thinking method in which the design goals are not determined with certainty. In this study, the examiner will test the network speed using speedtest.net in order to get a sample of the internet network and provide an overview of the router installation that will be installed at the University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya

Abstract

Today's automotive industry is experiencing rapid development triggering many new innovations involving Internet of Things (IoT) technology. By utilizing IoT (Internet Of Things) in the vehicle starter system, it will certainly save time, especially when heating the vehicle before use. We can do an internet-based starter for 5 minutes before using our vehicle so it is very beneficial for people who have high mobility. The automatic starter system can run according to its function by utilizing the wifi network which is controlled using the Blynk application with a simple electrical circuit using the appropriate microcontroller. This system works by pressing a button on social media, but our response will be forwarded in the form of an order that will be received and then instructs the actuator to start the vehicle. Over time, the system can get better and simpler for the future, such as turning on the vehicle's air conditioner automatically or for using other systems.

Abstract

The development of the internet is very fast with communicating freely. One of the technologies that take advantage of the internet is the Internet of Things which is the development of network communications from connected objects using the internet to exchange data into information. IoT requires wireless communication. The access point is part of wireless communication Devices that can be used as support for access points are antennas. One type of antenna is the microstrip antenna which is an antenna that has small dimensions and is flexible. Agro Techno Park (ATP) is the development of agricultural technology. Jatikerto Malang garden ATP has utilized IoT technology to help cultivate premium melon commodities, but the network infrastructure still needs to be improved. The 30-star microstrip antenna was simulated using CST Studio Suite 2019, considering several VSWR parameters spanning < 2, Gain > 3, Return Loss < -10, Efficiency > 80, and having linear polarization. Antenna implementation testing is carried out by considering the speed, range, and transmission power parameters of the antenna that has been fabricated. The test results show that the 30-star microstrip antenna has a VSWR value of 1.65, Return Loss -12 dB, Gain 4, Group Delay -2.5, Axial Ratio 40, Directivity 4, 90% efficiency, and linear polarization. The result of implementing the antenna on the transmission speed increased by 24.14% and has a range reaching a maximum distance of 72.41 meters exceeding the area of the ATP Jatikerto Malang melon garden with low power.

Abstract

Image processing system is a system that has been developed to date. By using an image processing system, an image can be processed into the required information. In this study, an image processing system was created using the You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm which is a part of the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) [1]. This system can be applied to electric wheelchairs, especially for detecting objects from the road surface they pass. The system that will be created is to detect objects in front of the wheelchair using image processing with the You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm method for the safe movement of electric wheelchairs. So when the wheelchair is running, it will simultaneously detect obstacles in front of it, both from the condition of the road surface and objects in front that will block the path of the electric wheelchair. Then, the detection results will be displayed on the monitor screen in front of the driver. As a result, detection can be used for braking control of the movement of electric wheelchairs to support security systems, but here the focus is more on object detection.

Abstract

Furnace is an equipment used to heat or change shape. Process control has become increasingly important in industry, as a consequence of global competition, Year after year, furnaces have improved in both process and industrial equipment. The tuning process ensures that system performance meets operating objectives. Artificial Intelligent (AI)-based intelligent control has developed a lot to improve conventional controls to control voltage loads and is always under constant assessment of the variable. In this research task, it will be discussed about the control of the furnace temperature so that it remains constant with PID and by tuning the Firefly Algorithm (FA) with changes in the output voltage obtained which have better settling time, overshoot and undershoot.
