Abstract

The furnace is a piece of equipment used to heat materials or change their shape. Process control has become increasingly important in industry, as a consequence of global competition. Year after year, furnaces have improved in both industrial processes and equipment. The tuning process plays a role in ensuring that the performance of a system meets operational objectives. Intelligent control based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been developed to improve conventional control so that the output voltage is always considered constant under changing loads. From the simulation results of this research, it was found that the PID-ACO controller model is the best model for using a PID control system. This design without control never reaches a steady state, with the undershot being quite small, the PID-ACO control system has the fastest settling time and steady-state response. Even though PID-ACO has a higher overshoot than PID-Auto, the undershoot is higher than PID-Auto. PID-ACO has lower overshoot and undershoots than PID-Auto

Abstract

In order to get a good yield of oyster mushrooms, oyster mushroom farmers need to have good and correct knowledge of oyster mushroom cultivation, from seeding methods, mushroom fertilization, to maintenance of room conditions for oyster mushroom cultivation, farmers also need to maintain a room temperature of 28oC and 60% humidity. RH. In this final project, a tool is designed that can make it easier for oyster mushroom cultivators in places where oyster mushrooms are not supposed to be cultivated, such as in the city of Sidoarjo or anywhere that has hot weather, a temperature of 28oC and humidity of 60% RH is needed to produce maximum yields. . This tool is designed with a DHT 22 sensor which functions as a temperature and humidity detector for oyster mushroom cultivation which will later send a digital signal to the ESP32 microcontroller to process display data in the blink application, to provide command processes through the blynk application to turn on the exhaust and water pump. With this research, through the integration of monitoring the blynk application, the ESP32 microcontroller, Exhaust, and water pump can be useful for field users. This tool can help mushroom farmers remotely monitor and control temperature and humidity in hot cities.

Abstract

AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) adalah salah satu jenis Material Handling Equipment (MHE) yang berfokus pada proses mentransfer barang dari satu tempat ke tempat lain terutama di sektor industri. AGV (automated guided vehicle) adalah robot kendaraan terpandu yang sering sekali di pakai pada lembaga kesehatan seperti puskesmas dan rumah sakit, yang berguna untuk memindahkan barang dari satu tempat ke tempat lainnya. Salah satu fungsi dari AGV yang dibuat pada skripsi ini yaitu pemanfaatan robot AGV “nobotic” pada saat AGV memindahkan barang secara otomatis, dimana robot AGV ini akan mensesuaikan berat dari benda tersebut menjadi torsi dan kecepatan yang berubah-ubah sehingga barang logistik akan dibawa secara aman tanpa mengalami goncagan atau benturan sehingga benda dapat digunakan secara maksimal.

Abstract

Energy sources that are often used to generate electricity are non-renewable energy sources which, if used continuously, will run out, such as petroleum, natural gas and coal. So, renewable energy sources are needed which are in abundant supply and do not run out quickly, one of which is water energy. Picohydro power plants (PLTPH) are an alternative small-scale power plant that can be applied in rural areas where there is a river flow that has a continuous water discharge and a relatively low water fall to drive turbines that can produce electrical power. To be able to produce electrical power with such potential, a pico-hydro power plant is needed. To optimize the performance of a picohydro power plant, a controller called PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) is needed. Then this PID is combined with the ACO (Ant Colony Optimization) method. ACO is a method for optimizing PID control parameters in a system adapted from the ability of an ant colony to find the shortest path to a food source from its nest

Abstract

The Army Aviation Operations Task is carried out in remote areas that still have minimal airport services, the process related to refueling for aviation helicopters is an obstacle to the implementation of the main tasks of aviation. So a tool is needed to make the process more effective. In this study, a method is used to obtain data for quantitative research to prove the hypothesis. The method is known as the Development Life Cycle Waterfall Diagram and experimental research. Currently still using a hand pump, therefore a portable tool is needed and uses an electric pump. specifically for fuel controlled by Arduino and an Android application as an input for a filling command and can store filling data. In this case, the tool system uses supporting components, namely batteries, Bluetooth hc 05, 5v relays, and flow sensors. With the research of portable pump tools, the process can be more efficient than hand pumps. When refueling a helicopter, simply by inputting the filling value from the Android application, the filling is running and the filling data is stored in the Android file.

Abstract

The increasing demand for oyster mushrooms requires innovative approaches to increase their production. Traditional cultivation methods often face challenges, particularly in the slow growth of mycelium, which can take 40-60 days. Previous studies have not extensively explored the synergistic effects of natural growth enhancers such as coconut water and rice washing on mycelium development. This study addresses this gap by investigating the impact of these organic substances on the growth of Pleurotus ostreatus (oyster mushroom).The novelty of this study lies in its focus on utilizing coconut water, which is rich in nutrients and growth hormones, together with rice washing, which contains essential vitamins and minerals, to optimize mycelium growth. The findings showed that the optimal pH for mycelium growth is 4, and the specific combination of coconut water and rice washing significantly increased mycelium spread. The benefits of this study go beyond academic knowledge; it provides practical solutions for mushroom farmers who want to increase yields and reduce cultivation time. By demonstrating the effectiveness of these natural growth enhancers, this study contributes to sustainable agricultural practices and offers a cost-effective alternative to chemical fertilizers. The excellence of this paper is emphasized by its comprehensive analysis and its potential real-world application in mushroom cultivation, which ultimately supports food security and economic development in the agricultural sector
