The Role of the Tourism Office in Tourism Development in Selayar Islands Regency is an agency that plays an important role in developing or changing in terms of tourism in the region, especially in Selayar Islands Regency. This research method used is descriptive research located at the Selayar Islands Regency Tourism Office. For data collection carried out by researchers are observation, interviews and documentation. The data of the results of the study managed by researchers using Spradley data analysis techniques.From the results of this study can be used as a consideration and reference for making policies or future decisions in order to build and develop tourism in Selayar, so that tourist attraction objects can or can be managed properly by the tourism office, because many researchers previously they were only researchers about the income obtained by the agency Tourism in terms of attractions

Mail management affects the effectiveness of correspondence because the creation of effective mail management will help organizations organize and find letters or documents needed quickly so as to increase operational efficiency in the organization. This study aims to determine the Effectiveness of Mail Management in the Office of the Governor of South Sulawesi Province, especially in the General Subdivision of BKAD (Regional Finance and Assets Agency). Therefore, research has significant in identifying factors or barriers that affect effectiveness in mail management. This research is qualitative, therefore, to achieve the objectives of the study, data collection techniques are used, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that mail management in the general subdivision of BKAD of the South Sulawesi Provincial Governor's Office consisted of incoming mail management which included 1) Mail receipt; 2) Mail sorting; 3) Recording of letters; 4) Mail briefing; 5) Mail processing; 6) Mail storage. Outgoing mail management includes 1) Drafting letters; 2) Signing of letters; 3) Mail delivery; and 4) Archive storage. This is in accordance with the procedure so that it can be said to be effective. In the process of managing mail, there are still obstacles such as 1) Manual mail management; and 2) Clerical errors. Efforts to overcome these obstacles 1) Propose that mail management be carried out with an electronic mail management system or e-mail; and 2) Attend special training conducted by agencies related to the management of correspondence. This study presents new information by linking detailed theories and research loci different from previous research on the effectiveness of mail management so that it can be used as evaluation material for research loci to increase effectiveness in managing mail

Effectiveness is a state that shows the success of the specified work. Work effectiveness is the completion of work on time that has been determined, meaning that the implementation of a task that is well marked or not, depends largely on the completion of the task how to carry it out. This study aims to determine the Work Effectiveness of Employees in the Gowa Regional Revenue Technical Implementation Unit. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in this study were 5 (five) employees, namely the Administration Department, Tax Analysis, Revenue and Collection Staff, Determination and Revenue Staff, Administration Staff, and 1 (one) service user. The results showed that the effectiveness of employee work in the Gowa Regional Revenue Technical Implementation Unit has been carried out well and can be said to be effective. This can be seen from 5 indicators, namely goal achievement, work quality, quantity of work, on time, and job satisfaction. This research can be used as a source of information and knowledge about the Work Effectiveness of Employees more in-depth Because in contrast to previous studies that used a lot of quantitative methods that focused on numbers and statistics, this study uses qualitative methods that produce hypotheses and more detailed descriptions of Work Effectiveness in employees, and also see how the development of objects over time. This research also focuses on discussing Effectiveness starting from planning, implementation to evaluation on Employee Work Effectiveness.

Office facilities and infrastructure refer to all facilities and infrastructure used in the operation of an office. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of facilities and infrastructure and what factors support and hinder the use of facilities and infrastructure of the Parepare City Housing, Settlement, and Land Office. Therefore, this study has significant in identifying the use of facilities and infrastructure that can lead to an effective and efficient work environment in completing their tasks. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The indicators of the use of facilities and infrastructure in this study are office machinery and equipment that are classified as ineffective because they are not adequate enough in existing availability. Inventory equipment is classified as ineffective due to the completeness of inventory equipment in the office that is still lacking. Office supplies, classified as ineffective because there are damaged / exhausted equipment not in accordance with the estimated time period. Office buildings, classified as effective categories because office buildings already include provisions issued by the local area. Transportation equipment is classified as effective in its utilization because the availability of official vehicles is in accordance with existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This study presents new information by relating detailed theories and research loci different from previous research on the use of facilities and infrastructure so that it can be used as evaluation material for research loci to advance the use of good and correct facilities and infrastructure.

The use of finger print is an electronic-based attendance tool used to see the level of employee discipline. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of finger printing use in the Soppeng Regency Environmental Office. To achieve this goal, researchers use data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study was all employees of the Soppeng Regency Environmental Office which amounted to 62 people and sampling was carried out based on the Krejcie table as many as 55 people. Data is presented through a frequency table and processed using score calculations. The data analysis technique uses a percentage formula. The results of this study show that the effectiveness of finger printing in the Soppeng Regency Environmental Office is carried out very well or very effectively. These results are seen from the aspects of: 1) achieving targets, namely achieving employee attendance and productivity with a percentage result of 92.25%, 2) employee adaptability to finger printing with a percentage result of 95.81%, (3) employee job satisfaction with a percentage result of 91.85%, (4) employee responsibility to complete work on time with a percentage result of 92%.
