This study analyzes panel data obtained from 34 provinces in Indonesia in the period 2019-2023 and found a positive influence on the level of investment and per capita income on economic growth, but the analysis carried out showed that the total population hurts the level of economic growth in the area studied.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technologies in Indonesia has brought significant challenges regarding data protection and privacy. With the increasing use of online services, e-commerce, and digital transactions, concerns over personal data security have intensified. In response, the Indonesian government enacted the Personal Data Protection Law (PDP Law) in 2022, marking a significant milestone in the country’s legal framework for data privacy. This study explores the implementation and effectiveness of data protection laws in Indonesia using a qualitative research approach. Through in-depth interviews with legal experts, government officials, and digital rights advocates, this research examines the extent to which current regulations align with global standards and whether they adequately address data security threats. The findings indicate that while the PDP Law represents progress, challenges remain in enforcement, compliance, and public awareness. Many organizations, particularly in the private sector, struggle to adapt to the new regulatory environment, and law enforcement agencies face difficulties in overseeing compliance due to resource limitations. Additionally, a lack of digital literacy among Indonesian citizens poses risks, as individuals are often unaware of their data protection rights. Comparisons with international best practices, such as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), reveal gaps in Indonesia’s approach, particularly in enforcement mechanisms and penalties for data breaches. This study highlights the need for greater government oversight, stronger institutional capacity, and enhanced public education programs to ensure that Indonesia’s data protection laws effectively safeguard digital privacy in the evolving digital landscape.

Abstract

One of the main problems is the non-involvement and neglect of communities in the new capital planning and development process. The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. This approach was chosen because it allows researchers to understand in depth the impact and risks of moving the country’s capital on the Indonesian economy. In this case, policy alignment between the central government, regional government and other related actors is crucial to ensure the success of the development of the new capital city and the welfare of the people living around it. At the same time, it should also be noted that the development of the nation's capital can have negative impacts. By carefully evaluating policies, we can find out whether the development of the nation’s capital will have a positive impact or even cause problems for the surrounding community. it is also necessary to pay attention to community participation and involvement in the development process of the nation's capital so that their interests and needs can be properly accommodated.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of agricultural extension services on the productivity of small-scale agribusiness farmers through a qualitative literature review. Agricultural extension services play a crucial role in disseminating knowledge, providing technical assistance, and enhancing the skills of farmers, which are essential for improving agricultural productivity. The review synthesizes existing research on the effectiveness of these services, highlighting key factors that contribute to successful outcomes, such as the accessibility of information, the relevance of training programs, and the adaptability of extension methods to local contexts. Furthermore, the study identifies barriers that small-scale farmers face in accessing extension services, including socio-economic constraints and limited infrastructure. The findings suggest that effective agricultural extension services can significantly enhance the productivity of small-scale farmers by promoting sustainable practices, improving resource management, and fostering innovation. This research underscores the need for policymakers and agricultural stakeholders to invest in and strengthen extension services to support small-scale agribusinesses. By addressing the gaps in service delivery and ensuring that farmers receive relevant and timely information, the agricultural sector can achieve greater productivity and sustainability. This study contributes to the broader understanding of the role of agricultural extension services in empowering small-scale farmers and highlights the importance of tailored support to meet their specific needs.

Abstract

In recent years, the integration of Big Data Analytics (BDA) into the auditing process has emerged as a transformative force, enhancing decision-making capabilities and improving the detection of material misstatements. This qualitative study employs a literature review methodology to explore the role of BDA in the auditing field. By analyzing existing research, the study identifies key themes related to the application of BDA in audit practices, including data collection, analysis techniques, and the impact on auditor judgment. The findings indicate that BDA facilitates a more comprehensive assessment of financial data, enabling auditors to identify anomalies and trends that may indicate misstatements. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of auditor training in utilizing BDA tools effectively, ensuring that they can interpret complex data sets accurately. The research concludes that while the adoption of BDA presents challenges, such as data privacy concerns and the need for technological infrastructure, its potential to enhance audit quality and efficiency is significant. By leveraging BDA, auditors can improve their decision-making processes, ultimately leading to more reliable financial reporting. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on the intersection of technology and auditing, providing insights for practitioners and researchers alike.
