Abstract

Every year the number of prospective students in a high school is uncertain, this can be seen based on historical data taken within the last five years, namely from 2015-2020. In 2016 there was an increase in the number of students, but in 2017-2018 it decreased, then the number of students increased in 2019 and in 2020 decreased. This is due to several factors, one of which is the type of promotion carried out by high schools. In this case, it is certainly one of the tasks that must be done by the high school how to determine the right promotion strategy to increase the number of prospective students. This study aims to group student data using the k-means algorithm as an effort to determine campus promotion strategies. By using the k-means algorithm, student data can be grouped based on specified criteria. The method that has been applied in this study is the K-means algorithm, because the k-means algorithm is a very popular method used by previous researchers to explore information used to determine promotional strategies. Data collection was carried out by literature studies, interviews, documentation and the CRISP- DM method. At the data processing stage using the RapidMiner application. The results obtained from research on the application of the k-means algorithm to student data analysis were obtained one cluster that could be used as a reference for determining campus promotion strategies and three types of promotional strategies were obtained, namely school visits, brochures, and the internet.

Abstract

In fact, education is a must for every human being on this earth. Without education, we cannot know many things that exist in the hemisphere and can add to all existing knowledge. In education, a person is able to hone the brain's ability to think and reason and hone the brain is sharp in memory to accommodate all forms of educational material and knowledge so that it can be used in the future. In this study, it was found in the city of Surabaya which tends to be included in the urban education system, but not infrequently this education can only be accessed by the economy class the upper class who tend to have a good economy than the lower class who have difficulty in their economy, this case is something that needs to be explored deeper into the problems of existing social inequality, where education does not require that only the economic class is allowed to take education while there are The lower economic class is not the opinion of existing educational rights. The purpose of this research is to see whether the education system in Surabaya still views whether the upper economic class gets better facilities than the lower economic class and looks at the side of the Surabaya government itself in dealing with cases that occur. Abstract

Transportation in Indonesia plays a very important role in people's lives. Along with the development of the times, the transportation process as a means of transportation has developed and progressed. All of this has taken place since the development reform which is followed by the need for mass and cheap modes of transportation.  Trains are transportation that is chosen as a means of transportation that is able to transport goods and passengers in large quantities, free of obstacles and has a high level of security. The government built the Trans-Sulawesi railway line because the infrastructure will open regional access, bring production between regions to the exit of goods and services with a higher transport scale, accelerate the traffic of goods, increase accessibility, reduce production costs, make the production scale higher, and encourage comparative advantages of products, so that all of them can trigger regional economic development. Bitung City  is one of the cities included in the government program as a priority line for railway lines. Bitung City has a strategic area to facilitate the distribution of goods and services to various regions in East Asia so that transportation costs are also cheaper in contrast to through ports in other regions. Over the past few years, the government has determined to make Bitung the forefront of the economy with the determination of Bitung Port as an International Hub port and the existence of a Special Economic Zone. The government's move to develop Bitung as the front line of Indonesia's economy against the world market has attracted great attention from foreign countries. The design of the railway station in the city of Bitung is to provide land transportation facilities between cities and provinces with a safe and comfortable place for its users. The philosophy applied to the design of Class A Railway Station is an informal building. This informal nature comes from the main function of the design of the class A railway station in the city of Bitung, namely services that offer goods and services, so that it has an impact on the basic form of the building, namely informal. Based on the nature and type of activities, one of the right architectural concepts to be applied in the design of the Class A Railway Station in Bitung City is Contemporary Architecture.

Abstract

In the digital era, brand image is a crucial factor in influencing consumer loyalty. This research explores the role of visual design in building brand image and its impact on increasing consumer loyalty. Using a qualitative approach, especially literature studies through library research, this article examines various theories and previous research that highlight the importance of visual design elements such as logos, color schemes, typography, and aesthetic consistency in creating a strong brand identity. These design elements are able to evoke emotional responses, build trust, and shape positive consumer perceptions, ultimately increasing brand loyalty. In addition, this research also discusses how digital platforms, such as websites and social media, strengthen the role of visual design in today's increasingly competitive market. The study results show that consistent and focused visual design can increase a brand's attractiveness in the eyes of consumers, as well as being an effective means of communication to better convey brand values. Therefore, it is important for companies to understand that visual design not only functions as an aesthetic element, but also as a strategic tool that can encourage consumer loyalty to brands in this digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to compare operational efficiency between Islamic banks and conventional banks using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. Islamic banking has continued to grow rapidly in recent years, but still faces its own challenges compared to conventional banking, especially in terms of operational efficiency. With a qualitative approach through literature studies and library research, this research examines various factors that influence the efficiency of the two banking systems. The DEA method is used to measure the relative efficiency of selected Islamic and conventional banks, by analyzing input-output ratios such as operational costs, profitability and service quality. The research results show that although Islamic banks operate based on profit sharing principles and syariah-compliant contracts, their level of operational efficiency is often comparable to conventional banks. However, there are several factors such as asset management and operational costs that have been identified as areas requiring improvement in Islamic banks. This research also discusses the implications of these findings for policy makers and banking institutions, and highlights the need for Islamic banks to adopt stronger strategies to increase efficiency and competitiveness. The contribution of this research is to provide a deeper understanding of operational dynamics in Islamic banking, as well as offering recommendations for bridging the efficiency gap between Islamic and conventional banks. Future research could further examine the impact of technological advances and regulatory frameworks on the operational efficiency of these two banking systems.
