Abstract

This study synthesized Ni-doped ZnO (Ni0.05Zn0.95O) and TiO2 (Ni0.05Ti0.95O2) via immersion-assisted coprecipitation for hydrogen production. UV-Vis confirmed bandgap reduction to 2.87 eV (ZnO) and 2.82 eV (TiO2), enabling visible light activity. XRD and SEM verified Ni incorporation and a significant reduction in crystal size (to 21 nm). To mitigate rapid particle sedimentation (25 min), sodium silicate was applied as a dispersant, successfully extending suspension stability to 4 hours. Notably, this chemical stabilization maintained a lower reactor temperature (49°C) compared to mechanical stirring (52°C), preventing efficiency loss due to thermal effects. Ni0.05Zn0.95O exhibited the highest photocatalytic activity, attributed to its superior Ni atomic composition. This research demonstrates that combining Ni-doping with chemical dispersion effectively optimizes both the electronic and physical properties of photocatalysts for enhanced hydrogen harvesting.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of philosophy of science in the development of a holistic counseling model through a literature review of ten relevant articles. The results of the study show that philosophy of science plays a fundamental role through three integrated dimensions: ontology, which views humans as complex beings with biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions; epistemology, which integrates the paradigms of postpositivism, constructivism-interpretivism, and critical-ideological; and axiology, which emphasizes professional ethical values. The integration of these three dimensions enables counseling practices to be more meaningful, effective, and responsive to the complexity of contemporary issues. The main challenge faced is the gap in philosophical understanding among counseling practitioners. A holistic counseling model based on the integration of the philosophy of science is a theoretical and practical necessity for producing comprehensive counseling services that are appropriate to the Indonesian socio-cultural context.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teaching materials in the element of Aqidah and Akhlak based on religious moderation for eleventh-grade high school students. The background of this research lies in the limited availability of teaching materials that systematically integrate religious moderation values, whereas such values are crucial in shaping students’ character to become faithful, virtuous, and tolerant individuals in a pluralistic society. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D), adopting the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of the trial involved material experts, media experts, Islamic Education teachers, and grade XI students. The research instruments included validation questionnaires, practicality questionnaires, and learning achievement tests. The collected data were analyzed using both quantitative descriptive and qualitative methods. The results indicate that the developed IRE teaching materials based on religious moderation are highly valid, with an average validity percentage of 89.58%. In terms of practicality, both teachers and students responded positively, categorizing the product as very practical and easy to use in the learning process. Regarding effectiveness, the use of these teaching materials successfully improved students’ learning outcomes, shown by the N-Gain score categorized as moderate, with 100% learning mastery achieved during the field trial. Therefore, this development contributes significantly to providing relevant, innovative, and contextual teaching media. The teaching materials not only facilitate cognitive competency achievement but also instill the values of religious moderation oriented toward strengthening faith, cultivating morality, and fostering tolerance, justice, and balance. This study is expected to serve as an alternative solution for curriculum development in Islamic Religious Education at the secondary level and as a reference for teachers in creating more meaningful learning

Abstract

The rapid expansion of the digital economy in Indonesia has significantly transformed business practices and, consequently, the landscape of business dispute resolution. This study presents a critical comparative analysis of arbitration—particularly online arbitration—and conventional court litigation in resolving business disputes in post-digitalization Indonesia. The research focuses on two principal aspects: legal certainty and time efficiency. Using normative juridical analysis supported by relevant legal theories, including Progressive Legal Theory, Development Legal Theory, and Legal Convergence Theory, this study examines the adaptability of dispute resolution mechanisms within the framework of Law Number 30 of 1999 on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution and related regulations governing electronic court administration. The findings indicate that arbitration, especially through Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), offers greater procedural flexibility, shorter resolution time, and cost efficiency compared to conventional litigation, which remains burdened by rigid procedural stages, administrative complexity, and case backlogs. Digitalization has further enhanced arbitration efficiency by enabling electronic submission of documents, virtual hearings, and digital evidence examination. However, challenges persist, including technological infrastructure limitations, data security concerns, and the need for regulatory harmonization to ensure enforceability and equal legal legitimacy with court decisions. This study concludes that while digital arbitration demonstrates superior time efficiency and practical advantages, regulatory reform and institutional strengthening are essential to guarantee optimal legal certainty in Indonesia’s evolving digital business environment.

Abstract

The phenomenon of increasing attention toward environmental and sustainability issues has driven companies to improve information transparency, moving beyond mere financial reports to include non-financial disclosures. One form of this transparency is realized through website-based sustainability reporting, which allows companies to convey sustainability information more openly and accessibly to stakeholders. On the other hand, capital structure decisions remain a fundamental factor that can potentially influence market perceptions of firm value, as they relate to the balance between internal and external funding in supporting operational continuity and growth strategies. This study aims to determine the influence of website-based sustainability reporting and capital structure on firm value through multiple linear regression analysis. Using a quantitative approach and secondary data obtained from annual reports and official company websites, the study focuses on issuers consistently listed in the IDX ESG Leaders index during the 2023–2024 period. The sample selection utilized purposive sampling, resulting in 20 companies with a total of 40 data observations. Firm value was measured using the Tobin’s Q ratio, the level of sustainability reporting disclosure was proxied through the Sustainability Report Disclosure Index (SRDI) based on GRI 2021 standards, and capital structure was measured by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). The partial results of the study show that website-based sustainability reporting has a positive coefficient but no significant effect on firm value. Similarly, capital structure shows a positive direction but is not statistically significant. Furthermore, the two variables simultaneously have no significant effect on the firm value of IDX ESG Leaders issuers. These findings indicate that although website-based sustainability disclosure and capital structure tend to have a direct relationship with firm value, the influence is not yet strong enough to significantly affect market valuation within a group of issuers that already meet sustainability criteria. Consequently, the firm value of IDX ESG Leaders issuers is not solely determined by the level of website-based sustainability disclosure or the company's capital structure.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of internal audit in enhancing the integrity of regional financial reports at the Gorontalo Provincial Inspectorate. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The results indicate that internal audit plays a significant role through assurance, consultative, and risk-based supervisory functions, including regular audits, OPD financial report reviews, technical assistance, probity audits, and investigative audits. However, supervisory effectiveness is constrained by limited authority, resources, and OPD commitment. To overcome these challenges, the Inspectorate implements strategies such as utilizing information technology, improving coordination with OPDs, monitoring follow-up on audit recommendations, and ensuring auditor independence. These findings demonstrate that internal audit contributes to increased accountability and prevention of financial irregularities. The study offers practical implications for enhancing auditor capacity and OPD coordination, as well as recommendations for future research to broaden the scope of informants.

Abstract

Inequality is a condition of inequity that results in a wide poverty gap in a country. In the future, challenges will arise due to inequality in wealth and prosperity, including in Indonesia. The Islamic economy is a system built on the principles of Islamic law and emphasises that the state is responsible for meeting the needs and welfare of its people. This paper uses qualitative methods and a retrospective approach to reveal how food issues are addressed in the construction of the Islamic economic system in Indonesia. Sharia-based food security is imbued with the main characteristics of Islamic economics, namely good and halal muamalah (transactions). Therefore, to achieve this, it is important to develop an Indonesian Islamic economic master plan based on the main indicator of economic independence in food self-sufficiency as an effort to realise national food security. Indonesia's Islamic economy is growing rapidly, and ideally, the construction of economic independence in the context of realising sharia-based food security should be a priority in the development of Indonesia's Islamic economic master plan based on the main indicator of economic independence in food self-sufficiency as an effort to realise national food security.
