Abstract

The phenomenon of closing cinemas during the Covid-19 pandemic changed the kebiasaans of some people in watching films. In the current new normal era, cinemas are gradually recovering to attract interest in watching amidst the rise of video streaming. This study aims to analyze the marketing communication strategy using Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) at the Platinum Cineplex Cibinong Square cinema in attracting interest in watching amidst the rise of video streaming and to find out what obstacles and solutions are encountered in implementing the integrated marketing communication component. This research combines emic and etic perspectives. The data collection technique in this study was by conducting in-depth interviews, field observations, and checking the validity of the data using source triangulation.. The results in this study indicate that the integrated marketing communication strategy at the Platinum Cineplex Cibinong Square cinema in attracting interest in watching amidst the rise of video streaming uses eight promotion mix components, namely, (1) direct marketing, (2) sales promotion, (3) public relationss, (4) personal selling, (5) advertising, (6) word of mouth marketing, (7) events and experiences, (8) interactive marketing.

Abstract

arious media publish sports news for sports lovers to enjoy. Each media and news portal certainly has a unique way of delivering, writing and uploading the news. This article was written by researchers to find out how the Kompasiana media framed a news story about the Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae Yong. Many media have highlighted Shin Tae Yong's behavior in coaching the Indonesian national team and the positive and negative influences that had an impact on the Indonesian national team when Shin Tae Yong became the coach of the Indonesian national team. The writing of this article uses a framing analysis approach with a qualitative method. The framing analysis model used is Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicky. The results obtained from writing this article are the Kompasiana media news portal framing Shin Tae Yong to have a positive side and a fairly good strategy for Indonesia's victory to be proud of. Meanwhile, CNN frames Shin Tae Yong in a different way so that it can lead the opinion of sports lovers, especially in terms of football.

Abstract

Through the media political economy approach, this study reveals how the commodification performed on impressions insertion  Adzan Maghrib  animation Upin Ipin in the month of Ramadan which took place in Station Media Nusantara Citra Televisi (MNCTV) Jakarta. The results showed that the commodification shows inset Adzan Maghrib Ramadan took place behind the ideology of the political economy of the media. Commodification of the Adzan Maghrib Ramadan Upin-Ipin animation study of content, workers and audiences. Outside Ramadan Adzan Maghrib a regular insertion program but during Ramadan maghrib call to prayer was turned into a privileged, by the media workers trafficked profit even doubled. This study uses a critical paradigm with a qualitative approach. In the process of commodification of the Adhan maghrib animation Upin-Ipin Ramadan  the practice of trade transactions and multiple profits involving elements, content of workers and the audience.

Abstract

The development of the times was followed by the development of technology and forms of communication at this time. Social media is emerging as a new media platform in various fields, including politics. Beginner voters are new voters who are involved in political activities and who use social media for various activities related to their politics. Starting from looking for information to opening a discussion. Beginner voters who are still in the category of teenagers today cannot be separated from the presence of social media, so social media has a big influence on their political participation. The researcher tries to analyze the phenomenon of social media and political participation for beginner voters. This study uses qualitative methods, by conducting interviews to obtain data. The results of this study are that social media provides space for beginner voters to express themselves and create their identity, without having to reveal their real identity or be anonymous, and it provides new connections and social groups to open up new voters' views on politics without any boundaries.

Abstract

In the era of globalization that has happened so rapidly lately, journalists have given a new color to the world and broadcasting. This can be seen from how easy it is to get news from online news sites. Currently, it has also been regulated regarding the freedom of the press in obtaining and releasing news that will be consumed by the public, of course in accordance with the journalistic code of ethics. Not a few of the journalists who criticize the decisions of leaders in a country where it is done to build an upright democracy. However, it is unacceptable in the same way that the President of the Philippines did by closing and licensing the Rappler news agency who was innocent of defaming, spreading hoaxes, and embezzling tax funds. From this, the researcher wants to understand more deeply about the problem by revealing it in this scientific journal. The research method used is a qualitative method which is a literature study. And from this research, it can be concluded that the dictatorship of a leader from the Philippines has limited the human rights that can be done from closing the Rappler news agency because he does not want to damage his reputation as a leader, and it can be said that he always justifies all means in realizing the anti-criticism that exists within him. . In this case but asked by the journalist and owner of the Rappler News Agency, the Court will not accept it and win the president in the case.Keywords: Press Policy, Media, News Site, Closing

Abstract

The anime series Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is an anime adapted from a manga (Japanese comic) with the same title as the main character named Arima. Based on the anime series shows, that there are implied meanings that can be analyzed by semiotic analysis as in episode 3 scene 5. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the meaning contained in episode 3 scene 5 of the anime series Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso with the formula the problem "Does the anime series Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso episode 3 scene 5 contain the meaning of Arima's attitude change?" This study used a descriptive qualitative research approach and semiotic analysis in this study uses Charles Sanders Prierce's theory of semiotic analysis in which there were three elements in meaning, namely sign, object, and interpretant. This research focused on visual analysis and analysis of Arima's dialogue. There were eight signs that can be taken for analysis. Based on the eight signs, it means a change in Arima's attitude as shown in Arima's shift from the dark side to the light, the movement of a cherry blossom petal from the dark side to the light side, Arima's dialogue that refuses to play the piano which ultimately accepted the offer to play the piano and several signs which was indicated by a meaning that was in harmony with Arima's change in attitude. So it can be concluded that in the Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso anime series episode 3, scene 5, there was an implied meaning that was in line with the change in attitude had shown by Arima as the main character.
