Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has a significant impact on the economy, even reaching minus 0.74%. This has caused various economic institutions to experience a crisis, the UMKM sector is one of the economic sectors that is able to survive during the pandemic. It is proven by the large number of UMKM actors. However, behind the relatively large number, most UMKM actors still do not have the ability to manage financial matters. Therefore, the community service of Trunojoyo Madura University carries out a work program of financial management socialization regarding transaction recording and cash flow preparation. This activity was carried out in the Gili hamlets with three series of activities, the first was the manufacture of hidden peanut products, the second was information on the importance of financial management in business and transaction recording, and the third was socialization of cash flow preparation. With the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that it will be able to improve economic conditions in the village of Gili Barat after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Every activity carried out by humans will produce waste, both agricultural activities, industry, domestic activities, and other activities. Based on its nature, waste is divided into 2 types, namely, organic (easily decomposed) and inorganic (difficult to decompose). One example of inorganic waste is plastic, plastic is still widely used in the daily life of the Indonesian people, so it affects the amount of plastic waste produced every day. However, this has not been balanced with public awareness and understanding regarding the impacts produced by plastic waste and alternatives to proper plastic waste management. This has led to a higher amount of plastic waste, especially from the household sector. Therefore, there is a need for socialization and mentoring activity in managing plastic waste, one of the alternatives to plastic waste management that can be used is ecobricks. The implementation methods used in this activity are socialization of the impact of plastic waste and ecobricking methods, ecobricking practices and assistance, and evaluation. This activity is located in Tajungan Village, Kamal, Bangkalan. This socialization and mentoring activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the community in managing plastic waste independently so that the production of plastic waste especially from the household sector can be reduced.

Abstract

Organic waste comes from organic materials that can be decomposed by microorganisms (biodegradable). Handling organic waste and dry leaves concerning the 3R method is to recycle so that it becomes a product that can be useful and even gain added value, namely into compost. Making compost can also be given additional materials from probiotic microorganisms such as EM4. EM4 helps improve soil structure and texture, supplying nutrients and inhibiting the growth of pests, diseases, and others (Nurkhasanah et al., 2021). This composting activity includes collecting and sorting composting materials, preparing composting tools and materials, and composting practices. Adding organic matter to compost is expected to improve soil physical properties, especially soil permeability and aeration, increase water retention and erosion resistance, and reduce surface runoff.

Abstract

The village is one of the strategic areas that has a variety of natural potential it has. And has a role in supporting development. One of them can be observed from the implementation of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES), which is an institution that is able to optimize various superior businesses owned by the village so that villages can become independent and efficient for the community. One of them is Tajungan village which is located in Kamal District, Bangkalan Regency, East Java. This area independently already has a business that is formed in a small business group that is developing in the seafood sector, especially food processing made from shrimp, such as shrimp crackers and shrimp sewel. There are still no people in the village of Tajungan who use marine catches to make shrimp nuggets. Here we held training on processing shrimp nuggets as an innovation of processed products from marine catches to increase MSMEs in Tajungan village, Kamal district, Bangkalan district, East Java.

Abstract

In this digital era, the MSME sector has a very vital role in economic growth and development in Indonesia. The MSME sector should be able to adapt to the times, especially in terms of marketing products using digital media. Community Service Partners in this activity are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Tajungan Village, Kamal District, Bangkalan Regency which are engaged in the business of production and buying and selling. However, the marketing activities are still very simple. For this reason, MSMEs need to be given training on the importance of using digital marketing so that their marketing system can be better so that they can expand their business targets. This community service program aims to provide knowledge in promotion, innovation and development strategies related to optimizing business marketing media. The purpose of this activity is to maximize marketing or sales that will have an impact on the economy of the community in general. The results of the implementation of this activity include increased knowledge and understanding of MSME actors regarding digital marketing as a promotional media, the use of online platforms such as the Canva, Shopee, and Facebook Marketplace applications as marketing media instruments has also increased, skills in using these applications are getting better and innovations. product marketing innovations are increasingly diverse. Abstract

Edukasi terhadap lingkungan harus dikenalkan kepada anak sejak dini, salah satunya yaitu budidaya tanaman. Kegiatan budidaya tanaman ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kepedulian anak terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya serta meningkatkan kemampuan kewirausahaan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh tim mahasiswa asistensi mengajar Universitas Trunojoyo Madura di SDN Banyuajuh 4 Kecamatan Kamal, Kabupaten Bangkalan, dengan sasaran siswa/i kelas 4-6. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3 metode, yaitu metode sosialisasi, metode survey, dan metode penyampaian materi. Kegiatan budidaya tanaman ini dilakukan selama 3 hari, yatu pada 30 Agustus hingga 1 September 2022. Bibit tanaman yang digunakan, yaitu kangkung dan krokot. Dalam pelaksanaannya, siswa/i terlihat begitu antusias untuk mengikuti kegiatan ini, hal tersebut dapat terlihat dari kerja sama yang dibangun dalam setiap kelompok pada saat kegiatan penanaman berlangsung dari awal hingga akhir. Kegiatan budidaya tanaman ini juga telah turut serta dalam mengurangi sampah plastik dengan memanfaatkan botol plastik bekas sebagai salah satu bahan yang ekonomis.

Abstract

Sampah merupakan masalah yang cukup serius dalam kebersihan lingkungan. Melalui kebersihan dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat. Namun faktanya, lingkungan sekitar masih tercemar dengan tumpukan sampah, utamanya sampah jenis plastik. Hal tersebut disebabkan bahwa masyarakat masih banyak yang menggunakan plastik sekali pakai seperti botol plastik serta minimnya pengetahuan tentang daur ulang. Padahal plastik yang digunakan adalah salah satu jenis material sampah anorganik yang relatif lama agar dapat terurai. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, melalui pelatihan ecobrick diharapkan mampu memberikan edukasi tentang pemanfaatan sampah menjadi benda yang bisa digunakan dan menjadi inovasi dalam pengelolaan sampah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini yaitu dengan menggunakan metode literasi, survei dan penyampaian materi. Hasil dalam pelatihan ini siswa dapat membuat ecobrick yang kemudian disusun menjadi sebuah bangku yang diletakkan di bawah pohon (taman sekolah). Abstract

Socialization is a process of learning about everything in life which includes language, norms, values, social systems, science, livelihoods, arts, religion, and others. This service activity is carried out in an effort to revitalize students' enthusiasm for learning so that students are motivated, as well as providing information about the importance of education. The purpose of this service activity is to increase the learning motivation of Tariqat Shufiyah MA students to raise awareness of the Urgency of Education and to raise awareness of the family in providing support for their children so they want to continue their education after graduating from MA. MA Tariqat Shufiyah students have knowledge and an overview of education. The method used in this activity is lecture and discussion. From the results of socialization activities about the importance of education, this provides benefits to students as an effort to increase motivation and interest in revitalizing the spirit of learning. The conclusion of this activity is the increased motivation of MA Tariqat Shufiyah students to continue their education to a higher level, the growing awareness of parents of students to provide support and opportunities for their children to continue their education to a higher level, students gain knowledge and an overview of education.

Abstract

Electronic word of mouth communication that is formed on social media allows users to share information with each other through comments or reviews about certain tourist destinations, this is able to attracct other users to come to visit. To promote Modung as a tourist village destination, a strategy is needed. One of them is the electric Word of Mouth (eWOM) tecnique. In relation to the world of tourism, purchasing decisions are assumed to e visiting decisions so that theories regarding purchasing decisions are also used in visiting decisions. Additionally, in commercial situations WoM involves customers sharing attitudes, opinions or reactions about a busniess, product or service with others. Positive WoM is also considered as a strong market communication medium for companies to influence customers, especially to visit the tourism village.
