Abstract

Socialization on appropriate energy using energy-saving lamps in RW 004, Kamal Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta aims to provide an understanding of how to use energy-saving lamps and save energy to residents in RW 004, Kamal Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta. This extension activity was carried out using an interactive presentation method. This activity consists of three sessions, namely a presentation on energy saving measures, then a presentation on energy saving lamps and ending with a discussion. This activity received high enthusiasm from residents. Therefore, this education really needs to be developed and carried out in a sustainable manner so that people can continue to broaden their knowledge about energy.

Abstract

The activity of revitalizing the posyandu and reviving medicinal plants as an alternative health solution for the Sawangan Elok community during the COVID-19 pandemic aims to foster public awareness and sensitivity towards the environmental health of the Sawangan Elok community and provide comfort for people who seek treatment at the Sawangan Elok posyandu. This community service activity in the form of revitalizing the posyandu and reviving medicinal plants as an alternative health solution for the Sawangan Elok community during the COVID-19 pandemic was able to run smoothly with three activities in the form of rearranging the fence, planting family medicinal plants, and repainting the posyandu walls.

Abstract

Drug abuse among teenagers is a serious problem that can damage the future of the younger generation. This article reviews community service activities in the form of counseling on the dangers of drugs carried out at MAN 1 Solok. The purpose of this activity is to increase students' knowledge and awareness of the dangers of drugs and their impacts on health and social life. The methods used are interactive lectures, group discussions, and distribution of educational materials. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in students' knowledge and attitudes towards drugs after participating in the counseling. This activity is expected to be a model in efforts to prevent drug abuse among students.

Abstract

Adolescence is a critical phase of human development marked by physical, psychological, and social changes. Accurate knowledge of reproductive health is essential to help adolescent girls navigate puberty in a healthy and responsible manner. This community service program aimed to improve the reproductive health awareness of female students at MTsN 2 Solok through educational and interactive counseling. The implementation methods included lectures, group discussions, simulations, as well as pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding after the session, from 35% to 82% scoring above 70. Additionally, participants demonstrated high enthusiasm and active involvement throughout the activities. This program proved effective in equipping adolescents with essential knowledge and skills to maintain reproductive health and encouraged madrasah institutions to support more comprehensive and value-based health education.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve the digital teaching media competencies of teachers at MAS Nurul Maulid Muara Panas through Canva-based training. The two-day interactive workshop guided participants in learning, practicing, and integrating Canva into their teaching strategies. The results indicated a significant improvement in teachers' ability to design creative and engaging educational media. Canva has proven to be an innovative tool that supports active, visual, and collaborative learning within the madrasah environment.
