Abstract

PT Teknik Alum Service is a company that mines nickel ore located in Buleleng.Village, Bungku Pesisir District, Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The costs of loading and transporting nickel from the mine to the jetty using loading and transportation equipment are carried out to determine the components of production operating costs. Production costs are costs incurred during the production process. To produce large tool productivity for the company, of course, it is necessary to calculate the production costs of using the tool based on the production target plan that has been determined by the company. From this identification, the objectives of this research are asFollows: a. find out how much loading and conveyance equipment is produced at the Mudak Pit, b. Find out how much the production costs of loading equipment and conveyance are profitable for the company. PT Teknik Alum Service Teknik Alum Service has a monthly production target of 50,000 tons/month.

Abstract

Manganese is one of the mineral products of mining, especially those found in Indonesia, such as in the Paludda area of Barru Regency, South Sulawesi. Manganese ore is known as raw material for steel industry, battery industry and chemical industry. This research was conducted at the Mining Engineering Study Program's Materials Processing Laboratory. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage increase in manganese ore content after the concentration process, determining the recovery of manganese ore against variations in grain size using a shaking table. The analysis used in this research includes shaking table equipment, XRF analysis and also XRD analysis, from this processing will be obtained Mn content. The results of this study show shaking table separation using operating variables with an initial sample weight of 500 grams with levels in the initial sample of MnO of 33.58%, in concentrate -65 of 26.60%, concentrate -100 of 25.93%, concentrate -150 of 25.46%, concentrate -200 of 26.93%, in tailings -65 of 24.17%, tailings -100 of 23.79%, tailings -150 of 22.79% and tailings -200 of 22.60. Therefore, the results of the study can be concluded that the shaking table operation obtained the optimal concentrate and tailings in the -150 MnO concentrate with a recovery of 23.65%, then the -100 MnO tailings with a recovery of 38.68%

Abstract

Silica is a rock weathering mining material containing the main mineral, silica (SiO2). Quartz sand is widely used in Indonesia, such as in the glass industry, cement industry, refractory bricks, and as a furnace coolant. The purpose of the study was to determine the carrier minerals of quartz sand and associated minerals in the Tahi ite area of Bombana Regency, to determine the geochemical composition of quartz sand, and to determine the quality of quartz sand based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The location of this study is in Southeast Sulawesi Province, Bombana Regency. This research method uses XRD (X-ray diffraction) analysis and XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis which has Quartz (SiO2), Calcite (CaO3), Muscovite (Al3HKO12Si3), Kaolinite (Al2H4O9Si2), Albite (AlNaO8Si3), Chabazite (CaK2Na2Mg). Silica deposits have elements (SiO2) 46.50% and Aluminum Oxide compounds (Al2O3) 24.33% and have larger elements (SiO2) 58.28% and Aluminum Oxide compounds (Al2O3) 25.80%.

Abstract

The compaction of the base layer plays a crucial role in enchancing soil bearing capacity for pavement construction. This studi aims to analyze the effect of varying compaction blows on the soaked California Bearing Ratio (CBR) value of Class A base layer in the Rehabilitation and Renovation Project of Gelora BJ.Habibie Stadium. The tests were conducted with three compaction variations: 10,25, and 56 blows. The result indicate that an increase in the number of blows correlates with a higher CBR value, where a CBR of 51,33% was obtained with 10 blows, increasing to 67,37% with 25 blows, and reaching 98,38% with 56blows. These finding confirm that compaction can significantly improve soil bearing capacity and pavement stability.

Abstract

This hydrology and hydrogeology study was conducted to analyze the water resource conditions within the Mining Permit Area (IUP) of PT PS, located in Pomalaa District, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The study aims to assess rainfall characteristics, runoff discharge, erosion potential, aquifer conditions, and to formulate technical recommendations for mine water management. The data used includes 10-year historical rainfall records, field measurements, geoelectrical surveys, and modeling of discharge and drainage systems. The results show that the site experiences high rainfall with a peak runoff discharge of 96.7 m³/s for a 10-year return period. A shallow aquifer was identified at a depth of 20–30 meters, with an average groundwater level of 20 meters. The recommended infrastructure includes surface drainage channels, sump pits, and settling ponds to manage runoff and mine water efficiently. The study concludes that mining activities in the area are technically feasible, provided that water management systems are implemented in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
