Abstract

The Medical Device Facility Security Information System (SIPATEN) application is a web-based application developed by BPAFK Jakarta to facilitate customers in submitting requests for proficiency testing services and testing and calibration of medical devices at BPAFK Jakarta. The observation shows that the SIPATEN application has never been evaluated thoroughly. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the user experience of the SIPATEN application using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method to determine aspects that need improvement and provide recommendations for improvement. The tools used for data analysis are UEQ Data Analysis Tool version 12 and SPSS 26 for instrument testing. The results showed that the perspicuity variable got the highest mean value (1.656), and the two variables that got low values were novelty (1.290) and stimulation (1.406). The recommendations given in this study relate to variables with low values, namely novelty and stimulation.

Abstract

Contrast enhancement in solar panel surface images is a crucial step to support inspection and defect detection processes, such as cracks, scratches, and stains. This study aims to enhance the visibility of details in solar panel surface images using the Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) method. The evaluation was conducted by comparing visual results, histogram distribution, and image quality measurements. The results indicate that the CLAHE method effectively redistributes pixel intensity more evenly than traditional histogram methods and produces images with better contrast without losing essential information. This enhancement supports the identification of defect characteristics on solar panel surfaces. These findings significantly contribute to the development of image processing technologies for solar panel maintenance and other applications requiring improved visual quality

Abstract

There is an error in the attendance recording, as well as a lack of notification features and replayable instructional videos. These issues impact user satisfaction and experience when engaging with the E-Learning of MyCyber. A study was conducted on the Indonesian Cyber University e-learning website to measure user satisfaction using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method. Data collection was carried out through observation, literature review, and questionnaires. Partial analysis of user satisfaction from 80 active student respondents at Indonesian Cyber University revealed that 3 variables positively influenced user satisfaction: accuracy, ease of use, and timeliness, while content and format did not have a significant effect. Meanwhile, the simultaneous test results showed that the variables content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness influenced the satisfaction of users of the Indonesian Cyber University e-learning website by 83.8%. Recommendations for Indonesian Cyber University include improving and optimizing its e-learning website, particularly in content and information presentation, to enhance user satisfaction when using the E-Learning.

Abstract

Indonesia Emas 2045 is a government program with the vision of creating superior human resources and enhancing societal welfare, with one of its primary priorities being the reduction of social disparities. Identifying the level of societal welfare is crucial for formulating appropriate policy strategies. However, the welfare level in Indonesia remains uneven. This study aims to classify cities/regencies in Indonesia based on socio-economic aspects using the K-Means method combined with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) on five variables: Life Expectancy, Percentage of Economically Disadvantaged Groups, Average Years of Schooling, Expenditure per Capita, and GDP. The combination of K-Means and PCA is used to reduce thedimensionality of the research variables. The analysis results indicate three maincomponents, and the elbow method determines the optimal number of clusters to be two (2), with an SSE value of 1454.63. The first cluster (1) consists of 336 cities/regencies with a lower percentage of economically disadvantaged groups, while the second cluster (2) comprises 178 cities/regencies with lower Life Expectancy, Average Years of Schooling, Expenditure per Capita, and GDP. The clustering accuracy is assessed using the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI), showing moderate clustering quality with a value of 1.019679.

Abstract

Social media has become a major source of information as well as a fertile ground for the spread of hoax news, particularly political news. This study examines two classification algorithms, Naive Bayes and Random Forest, to detect hoax news. The data used consists of political news labelled as hoax or non-hoax. The results show that the Random Forest algorithm has better accuracy and performance compared to Naive Bayes in terms of precision, recall, and F1-score. In conclusion, Random Forest is more effective for classifying political hoax news on social media. This research provides important insights into the application of machine learning algorithms in text classification and emphasizes the importance of selecting the right algorithm for optimal results.

Abstract

The operational vehicle car booking application process is identified as an activity carried out by the operational support section of HR services. In this study, several problems were found, including the use of paper documents in the ordering process, manual collection of documents, and collection of fuel and E-Toll proof after ordering which still uses paper. This condition causes difficulties in maintaining the integrity of documentation, especially if paper documents are damaged or lost. The main objective of this research is to develop an information system that can increase effectiveness in supporting operational vehicle car booking activities and improve the accuracy and reliability of documentation. This operational vehicle car booking system will be developed using the Flutter programming language for mobile applications and MySQL as a database. The information system development used is the waterfall method. In addition, testing of operational vehicle car booking information systems uses the blackbox testing method. After all stages of the research were completed, positive test results were obtained which showed that all the functionality tested in the operational vehicle car booking application successfully met the expected results. Therefore, this application can be declared to function properly according to the needs with the specifications given.

Abstract

Nowadays, advances in information technology have made a significant impact, including online job searches. However, the emergence of fake job advertisements poses a serious threat to job seekers, causing the risk of financial loss and misuse of personal data. This research aims to develop a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM)-based prediction model to distinguish between real and fake job advertisements automatically and accurately. The dataset used is “Real or Fake Job Posting Prediction” from the Kaggle website, which contains job posting data. The research process includes data cleaning, Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques such as tokenization and lemmatization, and model training using the TensorFlow framework. The resulting model achieved 97.61% accuracy and 0.08% loss rate, showing good performance in identifying patterns in complex text data. The results of this research are expected to help the community, especially job seekers to reduce the risk of job vacancy fraud.

Abstract

This research delves into the projection of the number of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in West Java, employing the methodology of linear regression. The study utilizes open data from West Java to analyze factors influencing MSME growth, such as government support, infrastructure, financial access, and demographic characteristics. The regression model is formulated, trained, and optimized to project MSME growth up to the year 2045, aligning with the vision of Indonesia Emas. The results reveal a significant upward trend in MSME numbers, particularly evident in regions like Bogor, under the auspices of West Java. The collaborative efforts of provincial and local governments, supported by effective policies, contribute to the optimistic projections. The study's findings underscore the pivotal role of sustained collaboration and adaptive policies in fostering a conducive environment for MSMEs. As Indonesia strives for economic growth and inclusivity, understanding the dynamics of MSMEs becomes instrumental. This research aims to guide policymakers in formulating strategic interventions for the sustainable development of MSMEs, ensuring their central role in the realization of Indonesia Emas by 2045.
