Abstract

This study aims to analyze the workload and professional challenges of vocational high school engineering teachers in practical learning and their implications for the quality of vocational education. The study used a Systematic Literature Review method with the stages of identification, screening, feasibility evaluation, and thematic synthesis of relevant journal articles from the last ten years. Data sources were obtained from various accredited national journals and scientific publications that discuss vocational teacher professionalism, productive teacher workload, and practical learning in vocational high schools. The results of the study indicate that the workload of engineering teachers is multidimensional, including practical planning, facility and equipment management, occupational safety supervision, student skill evaluation, and increasing administrative demands. In addition, engineering teachers face professional challenges in the form of rapid industrial technology development, limited facilities, an unbalanced teacher-student ratio, and limited access to industrial training. These conditions have implications for the effectiveness of practical learning and variations in the quality of vocational high school graduates. This study concludes that improving the quality of vocational education requires proportional workload management, strengthening institutional support, and continuous professional development for engineering teachers. These findings provide a conceptual contribution in expanding the study of vocational education by positioning teacher working conditions as a strategic factor in improving the quality of practical learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of organizational culture and climate on employee performance in the context of PT. Pertamina (Persero) through a systematic literature review approach. The study focuses on empirical findings regarding the relationship between organizational culture, work climate, sustainable human resource management practices, specific work behaviors, and employee performance in various units within Pertamina and similar organizations in the energy sector. Research data was obtained from journal articles and scientific documents purposively selected through identification, selection, and synthesis based on the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. The study results indicate that a strong organizational culture, characterized by the internalization of the values ​​of discipline, results orientation, cooperation, safety, and sustainability, is consistently associated with improved employee performance. Furthermore, a positive work climate and Sustainable Human Resource Management and Green Human Resource Management practices contribute to strengthening the influence of culture through the formation of productive work behaviors, compliance with safety procedures, and environmentally conscious behaviors. The synthesis of findings leads to a multi-layered conceptual framework that positions organizational culture as a fundamental determinant, work climate and HR practices as contextual reinforcers, and specific work behaviors as mediating mechanisms linking both to performance. This research provides context for developing studies of organizational behavior in state-owned energy companies and serves as a foundation for further, more comprehensive empirical research.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia (SDM) menjadi isu penting dalam dunia pendidikan vokasi seiring berkembangnya teknologi kecerdasan artifisial (Artificial Intelligence/AI) di era pendidikan 4.0. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang berorientasi pada kesiapan kerja dituntut mampu mengelola guru dan tenaga kependidikan secara adaptif terhadap perubahan teknologi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kecerdasan artifisial dalam proses rekrutmen, seleksi, serta pengembangan karir tenaga pendidik di SMK melalui pendekatan kajian literatur. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kepustakaan dengan menelaah berbagai jurnal nasional dan internasional yang berkaitan dengan digital human resource management, HR analytics, serta penerapan AI dalam pendidikan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan AI mampu meningkatkan efisiensi penyaringan kandidat guru, objektivitas seleksi kompetensi, serta personalisasi pengembangan karir melalui sistem pembelajaran adaptif dan analitik kinerja. Namun demikian, implementasi teknologi juga menghadapi tantangan berupa kesiapan infrastruktur sekolah, literasi digital tenaga pendidik, serta isu etika dan privasi data. Oleh karena itu, transformasi digital pengelolaan SDM di SMK memerlukan strategi implementasi bertahap yang menyeimbangkan inovasi teknologi dengan kesiapan organisasi pendidikan.
