BERDAYA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat bertujuan untuk mempublikasikan jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan menyebarluaskan pemikiran atau konsep, yang mengutamakan kegiatan empiris dan hasil pengabdian yang telah dicapai dalam bidang Ilmu Pemerintahan pada khususnya dan bidang sosial humaniora pada umumnya. Persyaratan pemuatan naskah adalah belum pernah dipublikasikan atau tidak dipublikasikan pada jurnal pengabdian lain, naskah berasal dari kegiatan pengabdian lokal maupun internasional. Abstract

Health cadres are an important party as a community driver to change attitudes and behavior to improve health and welfare, especially for mothers and children. The data obtained is based on the results of interviews in the Kemiling Community Health Center area with cadres, namely that almost 90% of mothers do not know how to care for their breasts, especially during the postpartum period and the majority of mothers who have babies and toddlers do not know how to massage babies and 100% are afraid to do baby massage. to her own baby. As a result of interviews with cadres, they asked for updates on how to perform breast care and increase their knowledge of skills related to baby massage because no training had been given to them regarding baby massage. Meanwhile, it is known that both breast care and healthy baby massage have many benefits for improving the health of mothers and children and have an impact on the quality of individuals in the future. The aim of this Community Service Activity is to increase cadres' knowledge and skills regarding breast care and baby massage so that they can pass this on to mothers and the community so they can do it independently. The PKM method directly trains cadres using 3 methods, namely lectures, questions and answers, demonstrations and re-demonstrations. Evaluation is carried out from pre-post test instruments and checklists. The conclusion was that cadres' knowledge and skills regarding Breast Care and Baby Massage increased.

Abstract

National Defense is a concept about the patriotism of a person or all components of a country. Physically, it is defined as an effort to defend against all forms of threats, disturbances, obstacles and challenges to the existence of the country. Non-physically, defending the country is defined as an active role in advancing the nation and state, either through education, morals, social, and so on. The problems that occur among the people of Bencah Limbat Hamlet and we think also in all regions in Indonesia, the public's understanding regarding National Defense is still very lacking and the value of Love for the Republic of Indonesia is starting to be degraded, many people think that the action of Defending the Country is just Military Service, but there are many other things including defensive actions. country. We want to emphasize this understanding to the Indonesian people, especially the people of RT03 Bencah Limbat Hamlet, Pandau Jaya Village, Kab. Kampar, Riau. The solution is of course to go directly into the community, carry out outreach, give the public an understanding of the nature of National Defense actions, how people can understand that National Defense is not a very difficult thing, it is not something scary, in fact there are many small things that can be done. as a form of defending the country, a small example is creating a safe social environment, mutual tolerance, mutual cooperation, so that these small things can foster a sense of patriotism towards people as Indonesian citizens.

Abstract

Realizing development goals requires village governance based on local cultural values. Local cultural values in principle contain moral teachings that can support the achievement of development goals through good governance. The dynamics of governance have brought rapid social change, which often leads to a decline in government values in governance. This has led to a loss of knowledge about the beliefs, social values, moral values and cultural practices that have been part of the community's identity. As a result, services provided do not touch the community, irregularities occur, decision-making is increasingly far from local cultural roots, and community participation in government activities decreases. Real steps based on local cultural values are needed. Based on the identification, there are several local cultural values that need to be preserved in governance, namely deliberation, honesty, cooperation, discipline, hard work, obedience to leaders, and respect for tradition as a basis for strengthening village governance. The method of implementing community service is preparation, implementation, evaluation, and program sustainability. Community Service has been carried out well thanks to the support of various parties, marked by an increase in knowledge, implementation of cultural values, harmonization, participation, and collaboration

Abstract

Pengelolaan kearsipan merupakan bagian penting dalam menjalankan roda organisasi, Permasalahan yang sangat mendasar adalah belum terkelolanya dengan baik arsip-arsip nagari Sago Salido. Arsip potensi nagari maupun dokumen surat menyurat lainnya tidak tersusun secara baik sehingga ketika dibutuhkan kesulitan menemukannya dengan cepat, belum adanya Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) tentang pengelolaan kearsipan ditambah dengan kemapuan dan pengetahuan perangkat nagari Sago Salido yang belum memadai dalam mengelola kearsipan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut sangat penting dilakukan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada pemerintah Nagari Sago Salido akan pentingnya pengelolaan arsip bagi instansi pemerintah. Kegiatan diawali dengan mengidentifikasi permasalahan pengelolaan kearsipan pemerintahan nagari Sago Salido, sehingga ditemukan solusi penyelesaian masalahnya. Pada hari pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan penyuluhan oleh nara sumber yang berkompeten dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi dengan menampilkan materi slide presentasi. Dari hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan terlihat antusias peserta baik dari aparatur nagari maupun masyarakat yang juga hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut dengan aktif berdiskusi dan bertanya tentang pengelolaan arsip dan bahkan pemerintah Nagari Sago Salido meminta kepada tim pengabdian untuk pendampingan pembuatan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) pengelolaan arsip nagari.

Abstract

Abstrak Rendahnya budaya literasi masyarakat terutama dalam membaca buku terutama generasi muda dan anak sekolah yang disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, serta minimnya promosi literasi yang dilakukan baik oleh pemerintah maupun organisasi non pemerintah sehingga belum bisa menjangkau seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini karena bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman serta motivasi tentang pentingnya menerapkan budaya literasi terutama budaya membaca buku bagi masyarakat di Negara Bagian Terengganu terutama bagi remaja dan anak sekolah, serta untuk mendorong pemerintah desa dan organisasi non pemerintah untuk terus mempromosikan pentingnya literasi bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan dan sosialisasi serta diskusi melalui pemaparan materi oleh narasumber dan diskusi tanya jawab. Pengabdian ini sudah dilaksanakan di Kampung Telaga Daing, Kuala Terengganu Malaysia yang dihadiri oleh masyarakat Kampung Telaga Daing yang sangat antusia dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini karena mereka memerlukan informasi tentang pentingnya budaya literasi ditengah arus globalisasi saat ini, tim pengabdian juga sudah melalukan evaluasi dan monitoring dampak dari pengabdian yang sudah dilaksanakan melalui penyebaran angket kepuasan mitra serta menggunakan media whatshapp.

Abstract

Strengthening youth participation in the SDGs needs to be implemented to form self-awareness within youth about their potential in making the SDGs a success. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are for the purpose of sustainable development. There are seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relating to people, the environment, prosperity, food security, health, peace and partnerships. This service activity focuses on the third goal of the SDGs, namely ensuring a healthy life and promoting prosperity for all people at all ages.  The aim of this activity is to increase the role played by youth in Telaga Daing Village, Terengganu Darul Iman State, Malaysia in achieving the third SDGs goal. They need to increase their participation in the SDGs program and increase their self-awareness about their potential.  This method of community service uses learning and coaching. From the results of the activities carried out, the service participants gave positive responses, especially regarding the importance of understanding the SDGs and their role in achieving the third goal.

Abstract

Public services are an important pillar in realizing good governance. One of the efforts to realize good governance is to innovate public services. The state of Terengganu realizes good governance through service innovation. Good governance is the process of decision-making and policy implementation based on the principles of transparency, accountability, participation, effectiveness, efficiency and the rule of law. The innovation made by the Terengganu government in realizing good governance is the implementation of e-government called Terengganu Government Digital Service and the Terengganu Smart City Program. Through these service innovations, it can increase the efficiency of public services and public trust in the government. One of the important things in realizing good governance is community participation in the government process.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase understanding and community involvement in dealing with climate change through the education of the Climate Village Programme (ProKlim) in the State of Terengganu Darul Iman, Malaysia. The program is designed to build community awareness of the impacts of climate change and encourage real action in mitigation and adaptation to sustainable mitigation and adaptation to a sustainable environment. Activities include socialization, training, and mentoring related to natural resource management, energy efficiency, greenhouse gas emission reduction, and environmentally friendly practices.
