Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a cardiovascular disease that is often found in the elderly, which requires long-term treatment to control, control blood pressure and prevent complications, so medication adherence is required. Elderly compliance in taking antihypertensive drugs is one of the determining factors in controlling blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of adherence to taking hypertension medication in the elderly in Wangurer Village. Methode: This is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design on a population of 32 people, sampling with a total population sampling technique of 32 elderly people with hypertension and taking medication, the research location is in Wangurer Village, North Minahasa Regency in May 2021. Data collection by using a questionnaire, univariate data analysis to see a description of the frequency distribution of adherence to taking hypertension medication in the elderly. Result: This research showed that the characteristics of respondents based on male gender 17 (53.7%) respondents and female sex 15 (46.9%). Age: 60-69 years as many as 22 (68.8%) and age 70-90 years as many as 10 (31.3%). Education: 26 elementary/junior high schools (81.3%), high school 4 (12.5%) and SI 2 (6.3%). Employment, IRT as many as 15 (46.9%), Farmers 14 (43.8%) and retired civil servants as many as 3 (9.3%). Compliance with taking medication for the elderly in Wangurer Village, North Minahasa Regency is in the obedient category as much as 56.3% and in the non-adherent category as much as 43.7%. Conclusion: That can be concluded the most of the elderly in Wangurer Village are obedient to taking hypertension medication.

Abstract

Background: Several hospitals in Indonesia have shown drug vacancies, drug delays, and minimal budgets in drug procurement. The availability of drugs is also influenced by the value of the hospital BOR which fell during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of Permenkes No. 72 of 2016 on the management of planning, procurement, and control of drugs at the pharmacy installation of the GMIM Pancaran Kasih General Hospital, Manado. Methode: This a qualitative research. The research was carried out on March-July 2020. The research location is at the pharmacy installation of the GMIM Pancaran Kasih General Hospital, Manado. This study took 5 informants. Data analysis used content analysis from in-depth interviews, direct observation of documents and comparing with theories in the literature. This study uses validation with source triangulation techniques and methods. Result: The results showed that the planning, procurement and control of drugs at the General Hospital of GMIM Pancaran Kasih is in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 72 of 2016 concerning Pharmaceutical Service Standards in Hospitals. It was also found that the e-purchasing system as a whole did not work well because the facilities and infrastructure were inadequate. Conclusion: That can be concluded that the implementation of Minister of Health Regulation No. 72 of 2016 on the management of planning, procurement, and control of drugs at the pharmacy installation of the General Hospital GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado has been going well. However, it is necessary to add human resources in the pharmaceutical field.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is one of the health problems in Indonesia, especially the City of Tomohon. The prevalence of hypertension continues to increase every year. The death rate due to hypertension is quite high. One of the risk factors for hypertension is excess nutritional status. The purpose of this study was to describe the nutritional status of hypertension sufferers in the working area of the Puskesmas Tinoor, Tomohon City. Methode: This is a descriptive research. This is research was carried out in the working area of the Puskesmas Tinoor, Tomohon City in October-December 2021. A total of 72 hypertension patient were the subjects in this study. The instrument of this research is the filling sheet. Data were analyzed univariately. Result: The results showed that the average body weight (BW) was 66.6 kg, the median was 66 kg with a range of 43-120 kg. Based on height (BH) obtained an average of 162.3 cm, median 165 cm with a range of 142-181 cm. Based on the body mass index (BMI), the average BMI was 25.33, the median was 24.8 with a range of 17.2-42.1. Conclusion: That can be conclude that the average nutritional status of hypertension sufferers in the working area of the Puskesmas Tinoor, Tomohon City, is in the pre-obesity category. Therefore, patients can make efforts to maintain an ideal BMI through physical activity and regulating food intake.

Abstract

Background: Balanced nutrition is a daily diet that contains nutrients in the type and amount according to the body’s needs while still paying attention to the principles of consuming a variety of foods, having a clean and healthy lifestyle, doing physical activity and weighing body weight regularly.The level of knowledge and attitude of a person’s balanced nutrition affect his practice in implementing balanced nutrition. The objective of this research is to analyze the balanced nutritional behavior of students at SMPN 6 Sa'dan, North Toraja Regency. Methode: The research methods used an analytical survey research design with cross sectional. the population of this research is 156 students. The sample used of 154 students. Data analysis is using the spearman correlation test. Result: The results in the research show that students have a sufficient level of knowledge (46,8%), the attitudes about balanced nutrition is generally good (82,5%) and balanced nutrition practices is generally good (68,8%). Based on the results shows there is not relationship between knowledge of balanced nutrition and balanced nutrition practices, with p value = 0,634 and r value = 0,040. There is a relationship between balanced nutrition attitudes and balanced nutrition practices of students in the SMPN 6 Sa’dan, North Toraja Regency, with p value = 0,000 and has a moderate relationship indicated by correlation value of r = 0,407 and show a positive direction.  Conclusion: the conclusion show there is not relationship between knowledge of balanced nutrition and balanced nutrition practices and There is a relationship between balanced nutrition attitudes and balanced nutrition practices of respondents
