Abstract

Poverty is a complex issue, not only rooted in the diversity ofeconomic viewpoint but as the embodiment of interactions involving almostall aspects of human life. In the Islamic perspective, is deemed valuable workundertaken so far to meet human needs. Islamic economics emphasis on socialjustice. Islam does not only want high growth, but also equity. Abstract

This study examines the concept and also the application of tajdīdin Qur’an hermeneutics initiated by Abdullah Saeed and the principles ofQur’an interpretasion (qawaid al-tafsir) which is carried by M. QuraishShihab. The result of this study will represent how important the entry ofhermeneutics is to ulūm al-qur’ān that have become well-established tool toanalize and comprehend Qur’an.

Abstract

Rationality is the characteristic of any action, belief, or desire,that makes their choice optimal under a set of constraints. It is a normativeconcept of reasoning in the sense that rational people should deriveconclusions in a consistent way given the information at disposal. It refers tothe conformity of one's beliefs with one's reasons to believe, or with one'sactions with one's reasons for action. However, the term "rationality" tendsto be used differently in different disciplines, including specializeddiscussions of economics, sociology, psychology, evolutionary biology andpolitical science. A rational decision is one that is not just reasoned, but isalso optimal for achieving a goal or solving a problem.

Abstract

Arisan Hajj is a ceremony performed by some Muslims whovolunteered to work together to save money in the agreed amount to pay thecost of Pilgrimage (ONH) alternately among members. In this case thegathering that aims to dispatch members to go on Hajj, of course, based onagreements and regulations made together. And this is where problems ariserelating to the Hajj gathering istito'ah impose as a mandatory requirementpilgrimage. Abstract

The benchmarks of human progress lies in civilization.Civilization is the result of work, initiative, and a sense of human life.Humans have always had a tendency to want more and expand. Thiscondition allows humans to perform the empowerment to be more advancedand developed. The Qur'an as a book of guidance for all human beingscontains shari'ah principles that must be executed. Abstract

Knowing the typology and the portrait of life in schools is quiteinteresting, because of the peculiarities of style which is owned boardingschools. Homogeneous character of the Islamic world has gradually meltedand opened by the modern rationalistic civilization. Typology ideal pattern oflife for the people who can be seen in the Islamic world relations systemcentered on clerics have changed. Geographical maps boarding schoolenvironment is a reflection of the kinship system that puts each individual asa citizen in a system that is intact. The important thing is maintained byboarding the prioritization of moral content in the educational process.Whatever innovations developed in schools, the moral remains a majorconcern, so it can not dipugkiri that schools become the most importantmoral fortress in this beloved country.Keywords: typology, life, pesantren

Ijtihad, imitation and talfiq are three terms that are oftenintertwined with each other. Ijtihad is the concept of ideals for all Muslimswho are able to implement it. Imitation is the reality of choice option is thecase for the People who are unable to perform ijtihad. While talfiq absurdity isan option for some people to be conscientious in performing the Shari'ah tothe fullest and people who just want to take Shari'ah easy-easy.
