Abstract

The study assessed the knowledge of primary care among visiting nurses (VN) on the topics: reproductive health and law, contraception and family planning, antenatal care (ANC), prevention of cervical cancer, sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Based on the results of the assessment, it can be concluded that it is necessary to improve the qualifications of VN for severe conditions in obstetrics. It is necessary to develop protocols for the management of ANC of pregnant and reproductive health for primary care, in particular VN, taking into account their working conditions.

Abstract

The present article aimed at developing an evidence-based policy for professional and skills development of Teachers in Rwanda Basic Education System. It highlighted the need and the relevance as the Government is striving for an effective and quality teaching and learning system. The article shed light on key concepts and policy requirements to achieve the national and global aspirations in education and human capital development. The policy proposal grounded on key theoretical frameworks as well as both national and global educational and developmental contexts. The article demonstrated a need for teachers’ capacity building, continuous professional development for an optimum quality education mechanism and educational output.

Abstract

This paper examines modern approaches to learning based on Internet technologies, presents the main factors that determine the need for the use of distance learning technology in the education system, shows the advantages and disadvantages of distance education as an innovative form of learning. The author considers both positive and negative aspects of distance learning and focuses on certain issues of the criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of distance education. Abstract

Manuscripts play an important role to fill the gaps and disclose uncertain pages of history. They provide us with the information of witnesses and stories had happened prior to the author who had heard from contemporaries. Besides that, there are some manuscripts that were written by several authors and generations. The manuscript of “Amal-i Salih” is a two-volume source written by Muhammad Salih Kambu of Baburid period in India. The manuscript provides valuable information about political and diplomatic relations between Ashtarkhanids and India, information about the genealogy of the Ashtarkhanid dynasty, information about the representatives of the political, cultural, and spiritual spheres of Central Asia.
